I have been here before and had an average experience. Friends suggested we go for lunch. Covid rules are strictly enforced by a sanitary general barking at all who don't cooperate. If you get past the entrance, you're good to go. Lunch menu offers a couple of pizzas, a couple of pastas and veal. They come with salad, tomatoes and cheese, or a meatball. The pizza here is always generously garnished. Tons of pepperoni. The pasta was fine. The bolognese sauce was enjoyable. My friends loved the veal. The only miss was the soggy cannollis All in all, it was good food.

Absolutely delicious and real! If you're always craving pizza and pastas like me, then Elios will give you your fix. Traditional, family owned, affordable and now renovated, this restaurant has a great menu with different styles of pizzas, pastas, salads and other italian specialities. We sampled the carbonara fettucine, pasta di mamma and the abbondanza (meat lovers) pizza and everything was tasty. The portions are generous, ideal to share or to bring home as leftovers. Even the complimentary bread at the start of our meal was amazing, I just wish I didn't get so full off those buns. My only complaints are the slow service, it seems to take forever to get our orders and then get our bills. The restaurant is packed and always has patrons waiting at the door however there is no sense of urgency to turn tables and get people moving. I guess compared to big chains, people here just like to take their time and enjoy their meal as a family so be warned that if you come past 6pm, there will be a line up. The other thing I wish they offered was more creamy based pastas, I was surprised not to find an alfredo option on the menu. The carbonara is the closest thing however it seems to be tossed in a little cream only and doesn't have that onctuous, all over coating of cream sauce on the pasta. The quality of ingredients and freshness of the food is well worth the visit. I recommend the table d'hote or pizza/pasta duos if you want to sample the most items.

I get elios for take out once a week and love it. I always have a craving for clams and I love elios clam spaghetti. The pizzas are to die for especially thin crust my recommendations would be the candida, melenzana and prosciutto pizza. the prices are reasonable for the portion size . My spaghetti lasts me a couple of days. My boyfriend loves the fettuccini carbonara and the house wine is also great!!

Looks like a salad from an Italian or an American restaurant ... the cheese was good, as was the bread.  Just Coke, but slightly $ overall

Elio's is another reliable staple that appears to be close enough to Petite Italie, or Little Italy. It's a little west of the main arteries and in a more gruff looking area, but it has been there a long time. It came recommended. As for whether or not it is authentically Italian, it is! Interacting with the waiters will soon enough confirm that. The other thing is that this is almost more of a pizzeria that happens to be an Italian restaurant, rather than the other way around. That said, their Italian fare is respectable. The main pasta dish itself was better than the accompaniments. As to why they're not getting a 4, it's for a couple of reasons. The more a la carte nature of the menu kicked up the price a little more than was expected. It wasn't overpriced but, collectively, it wasn't a good value, either. Also, echoing what others have said, the service by the waiters wasn't the best and mirrored what you might see in southern Italy - brusque, punchy, humorous, casual, quick, and indifferent, making you wonder if they just got off the boat last week. If in Petite Italie or thereabouts, I would default to Tre Marie, which is more of a restaurant than a pizzeria. Having eaten at Tre Marie twice over the years, I still dream about it. I hope they still make mouth watering meals. Let me end with a quip about these guys, much like there was a quip about the Pope and sexual matters decades ago which went: "If he no play da game, he no make-a da rules." For Elio's, I'd say, "If dey no watch-a da hockey, dey pay-a more attention and do a betta job." But ok, I get it - "Go Canadiens!"

Family dinner. Two other large groups. It's been three hours and I just got my main course. They put my plate down but didn't give me cutlery so now my dinner is getting cold. Good eggplant parm

No. 900 on the edge of old Montreal (I think it is on McGill St) was such a treat! I got to know, in a very little way mostly, and more extensively in one case, all of the staff that run the front of house. Delightful, all of them! Kind of a graduate student crowd, very efficient, friendly, smart, and pleasant to talk to. I don't drink so I didn't try beverages. I was in town for the week so got to try several pizzas. The one that says it is spicy, is SPICY. I was at my limit but the delicious outweighed the spice and I did end up eating it all (in two sittings, not one!). I especially liked the milder italian sausage pizza and so wanted to try more of them.

Wish they would have told us it was going to be last call before we tried to order one more drink. The server told us that the bar closed ten minutes ago, and was very apologetic. So we ordered another pizza to go. We also had our last meal there. It was a little busy and they were short-staffed so they did not come around much and it took a long time to get our food that time. But it was worth it. Pizza is very good. So we're the meatballs.

I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.
