OTL is the preferred place to stay for my colleagues and while I wish it was closer to downtown for walking distance things, I get why they stay there. It's fairly new, sleek, offers wine stations on two floors, and did I mention the spa? Even better, the spa that is open late, offering massages until 7pm.
The rooms are beautiful, the nespresso machine is always a win for me, and the beds are super comfortable. The staff was kind, especially one who taught me how to use their coffee machine and then gave it to me on the house!
They do have one of the slowest registration experiences that Ive had in a hotel recently. Each afternoon there was a long line of people checking in and unlike most hotels that just take your card and ID, here you have to recite your mailing address and email to them. I also did not like that the 4th floor was presented like a reserved, private floor, but I heard children running up and down the hallway until very late in the evening. read more
