This took four months and as this is the…read moreonly elevator in our public building, it made for some extremely difficult issues with ADA compliance. The overhaul was delayed because both of the technicians working on our project, took vacation during the overhaul and not even at the same time. This added several weeks of delay and further inconvenience for our building's employees and visitors. Rescheduling of either the overhaul or vacations could have saved weeks of delay. Two employees missed work for several weeks even after receiving their doctors' work releases, because their departments would not let them return because of fear of injury using their required medical equipment on stairs. It has been six months since the overhaul and we still have issues with the elevator. The doors do not close properly. This has been pointed out to the technicians several times. After six months, we are still getting the same answer: "It's a problem with the system". No kidding! No mention of a solution or timeframe. It's like we're just supposed to live with it. In summation: I believer their service and attention of to their customer's needs is lacking and the equipment is is not up to the level of their competitors. I am not involved with the service contract and am only a user. I'm only a user and this is my personal observation and opinion. That said, I am not a complete novice. I have worked with elevators and vendors/service technicians for over thirty years. So it is with some knowledge and experience that I can say; if you are looking for a good elevator service company, look elsewhere.

They had a shower base installed and everything imaginable was wrong with the installation. The pipes weren't aligned properly, the base wasn't tilted, Jason, the man they sent out, drilled through the base ruining it entirely. It was chipped in two places and had my grandparents used it, their bathroom would have flooded causing significant damage. The reason I'm not giving a 1 star review is because of how the owner handled the situation. My grandparents called and made him aware of the situation. He came out and immediately corrected the mistake. He bought an entirely new base and installed it. He was kind and made a terrible situation so much better. There was no extra charges for the extra labor and the situation was handled perfectly. If you intend on using Pipe doctors, make sure you see some credentials so you don't make the same mistake. Thank goodness my grandparents caught it before things got much worse.

He said that included a service fee of $49. I hired him through Thumbtack. He did not seem to be familiar, but it was scheduled a few days prior for Jan 18 at 2 pm. I thought it was a "no show" but called and he stated he had not received the information. I told him it was booked through Thumbtack and it showed 61 hires and the $49 service call would be waived if the work was done. He then said $200. He was here for about 45 minutes. The BBB review on this company all complain of overpricing. I think it would be fair to refund me $50. 1/22/24 Marilyn
