So I asked a friend for a recommendation on a local shop and she referred me to Jason, the owner of Marion Auto Service. He runs a small operation but always, and I mean always finds time to get you in within a day or so. And his work is outstanding- my car has run like a top after every one of his repairs. His fees are very reasonable, he's super personable and professional, and because he's been so good to me for over a decade, I will not even think about taking my car anywhere else. Jason is one of those talented mechanics you know you can trust with your vehicle AND your hard-earned money. Again, he runs a small outfit so maybe that's why he doesn't have a ton of reviews. Another week and several attempts to reach him and still no response. So after a month of waiting, I went to pick up my unit. I wasn't mean or rude, just needed to take it to some one who could actually get to it. The batteries were dead from sitting so long, jump starting wasn't working, so I had to leave to get a new battery, and told Adam what I was doing, instead of offering to help with a jump, he tells me they close at 4pm, and they lock the gate at that time. That only left me with 40 minutes to get a battery and get it put in. I got back, and Adam again stresses how they have to be out at 4pm. Makes me beg and plead for a few extra minutes to try and get this truck started to avoid a $500 tow bill. This guy is a super douche. No communication for weeks! Then hassles me over a couple minutes! I was out the gate by 4:02. Wish I could go back in time to avoid this jerk. He may be a good mechanic, but is not a good businessman.
