Came here after an NFL game for dinner and it was very busy, clearly a popular spot. They have TVs playing games on the inside and lots of seating which is nice. The servers seemed a little overwhelmed with the capacity and forgot some things we asked for, which is the only reason why this place isn't a 5. Food came pretty quickly. The pork belly appetizer was delicious!! Juicy and loved the veggie mixture on it to add texture and some creaminess. I got the chicken katsu don and loved it, the chicken was well done and the dish overall was tasty. My sister got the jigoku ramen and liked it, the broth wasn't exceptional but still good. The pork was also very well done, and tasted a little like bacon on the edges because it was so crisped. Overall: affordable spot for Japanese dinner in CLE, expect to wait for a table on game days but worth the wait for good food.

Visited Otani Noodle for the first time with my coworkers and it was great experience! The service was quick and the server recommended that I try their lemonade and it was really good - I will return for that alone! I ordered the Torikatsu as my entree and it was a good selection. I've only been to a couple of noodle restaurants so although I don't have much to compare Otani to, I enjoyed it. I visited during lunch time and it's definitely a convenient choice if you're looking a casual place to get in and out.

Otani was a cute little noodle shop. We came in on a very chilly Friday night and we're quickly seated with hot soup and noodles in front of us. Their cucumber appetizer was amazing - super crisp and so flavorful! It was a bit chilly inside - my only reason for a star deduction. Give this place a try - hidden gem in Cleveland!

This place is awesome! We visited their smaller location last year (was also great) but this location is bigger & just as delicious. There are more food options at this one which is nice. We got the jigoku & the bulgogi, both amazingly tasty! They have sushi too. You can't go wrong at this place. Joyce, the owner, was so sweet & friendly. Locally owned which is a bonus! Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Otani is super solid. My ramen came out fast. My server was on top of it. The seafood ramen hit and I was happy. If I lived in Cleveland I'd be a regular.

I have never had a bad experience at Otani Noodle. I've gone several times, what I loved! Is when you order take away they keep the broth separate from the noodles so everything doesn't get soft while your driving home absolutely wonderful. The place gives a cute Asian noodle aesthetic, it's never been busy busy but I see people walking in and getting food all the time. They have two locations and the quality of food at both is great! My friend my Michigan raves about the one time I took him!

Serving sizes here are fantastic. The Mrs. ordered fried rice and it was a lot. I ordered the Electric Eel Roll which was pretty good. The seaweed salad serving size was too large for me to finish. The chicken gizzards were also something I would highly recommend. We also shared a gyoza appetizer which I also enjoyed. The roll came out a bit after everything else, but I would still recommend stopping by for a bite.

    But first cold drinks!

Reviews were great and they were pretty spot on, stopped for a meal on our last night in town. We both love Asian food but have different likes, he'll eat it all and I'll eat Ramen but prefer something else and no sushi- otherwise love it. I ended up ordering Chicken Fried Rice, Yakitori and we shared the gyoza. My preference is pan fried gyoza and this was half fried half steamed and delicious, so was the fried rice and yakatori. But the star of my meal was the passion fruit margarita- definitely not asian.. but extremely well balanced and de-lic-ous!

    #1 Char Siu - delish

Visted Otani Noodle again with the same co-worker that I have been visiting Otani with for 13 years. On this visit we, both requested a #1 Char Siu, which includes roasted pork, noodles, scallions, mushrooms, seaweed, corn, and half a boiled egg. They have four different broths for the ramen. The Char Siu includes tonkotsu broth, which was delicious. The flavors of the bowl were excellent and my co-worker especially loved the pork. I'd definitely request this bowl again, but I need to try some other things on the menu. Very good ramen!

If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and great service, Otani Noodle Downtown is the place to go! We tried the char siu noodles, chicken katsu curry don on rice, miso soup, and vegetable spring rolls--and every bite was spectacular. The flavors were perfectly balanced--not too overpowering but definitely packed with the right amount of taste to keep you satisfied. The portions were generous, leaving us full and happy, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The ambiance was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't too crowded when we went, so it had a peaceful, homey vibe. The background sounds of cooking and soft music added a nice touch. Plus, each table had its own set of sauces, which made customizing our dishes super convenient. Highly recommend this spot for a casual yet memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

    Vegetable Shoyu Ramen

Overall (7.5/10): great service and well run, the food is solid but missing some flavor Shoyu Vegetable Ramen (7/10): I was happy there were multiple broth options as a vegetarian, but was underwhelmed with the flavor of the broth (needs umami). Nice assortment of vegetables and tofu. Noodles were cooked very well. The chilli oil worked wonders

    1. Char-Siu ramen
    Ashley E.

The reviews were relatively good but this place was disappointing. The vegetarian ramen was okay--the flavor was mild, even when I added chili sauce. The broth just wasn't giving. The tempura was also mediocre. The atmosphere is nice actually, but there's soooo many little gnats flying around trying to get into your food. I spent way too much time waving away bugs. The service was good. But you just order at a counter and seat yourself.

This was a cute ramen shop. The food was nice and hot and the lady who helped was super nice!!! My only qualm is its not authentic. The food was good don't get me wrong, but if your looking for something more authentic this isn't the place. I do recommend the coffee thought. Was nice as I walked around. It felt more like winter than fall at the time. I got the curry fish ball. Was fresh and you could see the steam coming off. I had to make a video of how pretty it looked. The place is spacious and offers a good amount of seating. Just note: lots of things close early and open late in cleveland.

Food was good. Not much for ambiance but enjoyed the sushi. Most other tables were eating the noodles so definitely will try that next time.

    Is there any free parking?

No free dedicated parking, which is the case for most downtown establishments. But it is an ideal location to grab lunch or dinner if already downtown for work or an event such as a game, or CIFF at the Terminal Tower.
