Sometimes this can be covered if the noodles or vegetables stand out but nothing was too exciting. Not that you would go here for this but the wifi was pretty much non exsistant as well. That being said, it's in a vary cute Alley and the design is very sleek for a ramen shop. The veggie bun we got was good with great texture and richness.

This place did not disappoint! I'm from San Diego and we have a lot of authentic ramen, but this place def did a great job to keep the authenticity. Not to mention the value for all the food we got! Worth it compared to the prices we get back at home. They also decorated it really cute, but it was a bit hard to find because the sign is small. But just look for ROOSTER cafe because it's to the right of it. For food we ordered shrimp Gyozas, shumai, chicken karagge, and tempura shrimp baos. My fav was the gyoza hands down, shumai next and then the baos. I thought the chicken karage were like the Japanese style ones but they're actually just wings! Still tasty though. We also ordered the vegetarian ramen and half order size were perfect for us because we also had the appetizers. I'm sure the other ramens would be amazing but I don't eat pork so it was a great veg option for me. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes, the yakisoba looked delicious!

We were in Cancun, MX and stayed at an all inclusive resort called Live Aqua, great resort,…read morerecommended. Came to Hidden Garden for one of our dinner for a special birthday celebration of my friend. The food was great and the ambiance was great. The service from our server was great. It was such a nice special touch for the chef to come out and ask how everything was, and the server brought out a birthday dessert for my friend. 5 stars on all of that. So why 2-stars then? The hostess of this place that evening was rude and out of place. We were all dressed VERY NICE in all black, however, one of the guy in our group's outfit was sleeveless. He was wearing a very nice leather sleeveless vest. Mind you, it wasn't a tank top, it wasn't swim wear, it wasn't athletic wear. It was an expensive leather vest, very fashionable. Nicer than all of the old men wearing shorts and Hawaiian shirts or basic polo shirts. The hostess didn't allow him in until he changed to something that had sleeves. Friend changed and was allowed in. Once inside, he put the vest back on for photos since everyone in our group coordinated to be wearing black fashionably. On our way out of the restaurant, the hostess had the nerve to stop us and say something about it. Lesson here is, do better. We understand that there's dresscode, but know what should be acceptable or not. If it was a tank top, swim wear, or athletic wear, we'd definitely understand. But it was not, it was upscale and fashionable, just without the sleeve. Plus, women are allowed to be sleeveless but not men? What year do you live in? Train your hostess better.

The appetizers were pretty good, but our main dishes were really very bad. I got the pad Thai and it was one of the worst pad Thais I have ever had. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, wish the food matched. We did want to go back and give some other dishes a try, but just ran out of time.

We've also eaten at many places in LA, which is known for having some of the best Korean food. We saw this place had pretty solid reviews, especially on Google, and even saw comments from people claiming they were Korean and from LA saying this place rivaled KBBQ spots there. Because of that, we came in with really high expectations. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. The restaurant is located upstairs, and the elevator ride alone almost made us turn around. It was extremely shaky and honestly felt unsafe at times. There were moments we thought it might actually drop. I would definitely recommend taking the stairs instead. We ordered the mixed combo with beef, chicken, and pork, along with soybean soup and steamed egg. The banchan selection was limited and overall the flavors were pretty underwhelming. The biggest issue though was the meat quality. Most of the meats were chewy, including the pork belly, which should have been much more tender because of the fat content. One thing we've noticed in Mexico compared to the US is that the meat quality in general often isn't quite the same, and this place really highlighted that for us. Honestly, Gen BBQ back in California is much better than this spot. I understand some people love this place because they cook over charcoal, but the cooking process took forever. Each meat took a long time to cook, and they had to replace the coals multiple times during the meal. The one thing that really stood out in a positive way was the steamed egg. It was honestly one of the best steamed eggs we've had. Super fluffy, airy, and cooked perfectly. If you're someone who really loves Korean food or Korean BBQ, I personally wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this place. There are much better options out there worth spending your money on.

Assorted seafood with great freshness Salmon tartar: an okay Sushi: the first one on the menu, do not recommend Scallops in wasabi: scallops were perfectly cooked. After finishing everything, I ordered three desserts out of four choices LOL Coconut Ganache: very tasty Chocolate cake: great with green tea ice cream Rice pudding: sticky rice was a bit hard Overall a great dinner with lots of seafood!

Yep that whole thing was fried, rice was warm and shrimp was crispy. That is how it's supposed to be. I had the pork belly with crispy noodles. It was definitely melt in your mouth and had little fat pieces, only the best served here! The seafood ramen was great, just needed more noodles lol. It had mussels, shrimp, scallop, and octopus. I also had duck confit which was a little salty in my opinion. One night for room service, i had the tempura shrimp and veggies, definitely thin batter and excellent spicy mayo ever! I also had the kung pao shrimp with noodles, sauce was kickin and I was enjoying with joy! My favorite dish! For dessert, we had the chocolate ganoche which was a little too sweet. I came here twice and ordered it for room service, and they rolled out a new menu on my second visit. Definitely a different experience each time but i cant keep but coming back bc i love asian food.
