The salesman strung me along and said they can help and needed a down payment, then the silent part of putting you on a payment plan from a medical company server, when they is no recourse if they do a terrible job. Which they did, and the only help was getting your back taxes in order (which any tax expert could do). A year later I'm no further along with a resolution and start receiving letters from the IRS with no plan insight. Always had to call to get an (none) update. She did not have enough money to pay for that, so they convinced her to get a loan using the company the recommended. Once she told me about it, and I called them they agreed to give her her money back, and I've been trying for a month to get the money back, but I keep getting bounced around. They're sick people. Intimidating and stealing from the elderly. They won't give you their real names, direct phone lines, email addresses, etc for a reason. This business should be shut down. Think Twice Before Using Ovation Tax Group I want to share my experience in hopes it helps others make an informed decision. I hired Ovation Tax Group to help with a tax issue after they told me they could negotiate with the IRS on my behalf. I paid over $3,000 upfront, based on what I was told about how the process would work and what results I could expect. Unfortunately, the outcome did not match the promises made. I was told my case would be resolved within 3-4 months, but I never received meaningful updates or documentation unless I repeatedly reached out. Despite numerous follow-up calls, no one ever got back to me within the timeframes they gave. I never received clear answers or proof that any action had been taken on my case. I felt that the communication was poor and the service fell far short of what I expected. I personally would not work with this company again based on my experience, and I encourage others to thoroughly research before deciding. read more

This is a scam. Look at the realistic detailed review like mine and others. Dont fall for this " tax firm". The 5 star here are most likely employees and relatives. They are not going to do your tax. They are not going to do what they promised you on the initial phone conversation. The guy you will be talking first is a salesman and his only job is to make you sign. When I tried to reach him, always VERY BUSY. One time he asked for my bank statements and I asked him, what for. His reply , dont ask. He is not the one doing your tax. He will just be convincing you to sign up. Mine was 3 years of tax and then talk to IRS on my behalf to lower the tax I owed. They will tell you they need INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS for first phase and then from there, they will work on your tax. They tried charging me $9000 for that!!! with a downpayment but the actual work will be passed or subcrontracted to other ppl and you will get delayed or nothing happens. I callled IRS thinking I have representation but IRS told me I have none(and I already paid this "tax firm") I call this "tax firm" and told them that and they are mad at me for calling IRS and talking to IRS. Oh, you wouldnt see the contract youre signing until you pay first whether downpayment or full amount. Only when you pay , then you will see the contract with them that they will provide you. AT this point, you are now pissed and feeling, this isn't right because IT IS NOT. What business is there that you have to pay first then sign a contract of what you pay. I have to say, initially, I was very skeptical about these type of companies, but I was also in deep trouble with the IRS. I hadn't filed in 10 years as a 1099 employee & had my wages garnished and my Bank of America account levied. I didn't know where to turn. Thank goodness I took a chance with these guys!!! They hounded me to sign up, made all kinds of promises. Then 6 months goes by and I ask for a refund, and they get on a call with me and talk me into staying......6 more months of nothing goes by, I ask for refund, they say yes...2-3 business days. Nothing. My bank is backing me, but these crooks lied and said services were rendered in full. Nothing of the sort happened.
