The beach itself is not very nice and don't expect something really cool here but it is a good escape and at least there is sand and the Adriatic. This beach bar is about a 15 minute walk from the Lido island main boat stop straight across the Lido island. Actually it is part of a public beach thing. Earlier in the day, we met fellow tourists who highly recommended the Bellini drink at Harry's Bar so off we went searching for the place, only to be disappointed by the treatment we received...like they couldn't care less whether we patronized their establishment or went elsewhere...so off we went to El Rofolo. El Rofolo was actually closer to our hotel and it looks like a local hangout that was very welcoming. We were treated like we were regulars, with friendly vibes all around. We really liked their version of the Bellini drinks and their cicchetti were delicious. Best of all, the total for two drinks and three cicchetti was just 13 Euros (unlike most bars close to Piazza San Marco charging 9 Euros for a Bellini)! What a great find.
