Health coach Debbie Burr as been nothing but a blessing to me. She has made me realize that eating healthy is a lifestyle and not just a diet. Although, I didn't need to lose a lot of weight, I needed to control my blood pressure and cholesterol. The products available make it easy for a quick meal. The best part about this program is being able to meet with Debbie! She's a great coach, a great example of how this program works and a great person! I wish I could meet with her more frequently! Thank you Debbie for everything you've done for me! read more

They are not taking new patients. They said they closed their physical location in December so are not taking new patients. I was really disappointed. Prior to that disappointing email, they asked if I was referred to them, I said no but found them on Google and Yelp. So, maybe they are only taking referrals?? Sucks. read more

OSR is great and their program works. I've lost 70 lbs and 34 inches since January. Shout out to Debbie Burr, my awesome health coach, for helping me get healthy and stay on protocol! She, too, has gone through the program and is very real and extremely encouraging. She really connects and gets to know her clients and will be there for you every step of the way. I no longer have the many ailments that were holding me back. It's great to feel so healthy and have so much energy. Ideal Protein works and is simple, all you have to do is follow and watch yourself transform. read more

I'm starting this off with 4 stars as I'm basing my review on my initial meeting today with my coach Debbie. She was friendly and very informative. I signed up for the program but won't officially start until Oct 28th. You get a starter kit which includes a weeks worth of food, breakfast, lunch, a snack and a months supply of vitamin supplements, you provide your own protein and vegetables for dinner, there's a menu telling you the break down for each meal. You also get a daily journal and reading material about the program and suggested online resources that may help you on your journey. I know on the Yelp page it says it's covered by insurance, but it's not. You will meet once a week with your coach, there are 4 phases, phase 1 is where you stay until you lose the amount of weight you've decided on, and then you move to Phase 2, which I'm not going to get into because I'm only concerned with starting and getting through Phase 1. I hope this helps with your decision, I know it won't be easy but, I'm ready to give it a go. read more

I tried everything and sticking to this program helped me drop 30 lbs and improved my health in more ways than I could have hoped for. I had fewer painful episodes with my PCOS and just overall felt better. Not to mention, my coach Debbie Burr did everything to keep me on track! I had slip ups here and there and she's very understanding and gives great advice on how to get back on track and keep going! I couldn't do it without that wonderful lady!!! If you can just have self discipline this program WILL work. Also..... I barely worked out when I first started, so that 30 lbs was pretty much all the diet! read more

Physical Therapist Adam Taylor has been my primary therapist, and I can't express how thankful I am to meet him! I have heard about this place from one of my friends and have checked them out due to my very painful back. Which I couldn't do anything such as daily activities, normal work, sitting for a long time or even standing. But after I have visited Adam for about 6-7 days, I have gotten way better where I'm at no pain! Gotta love this feeling it's like I'm back to normal! The exercises that Adam have thought me and we go through I do these 3-4 times a week and helps a lot! I would like to thank OSR for having a such professional PT at your place! It was such worth to take the time to go through these process because of your professional staffs and shout out to Adam! Lastly, all the staff at this place are friendly and them make you feel like home and always addresses you by name! I have already referred this place to many people! Thank you! read more

After I had a health scare in 2016 my wife decided to get healthier and lose baby weight. She had tried many diets before but always gained the weight back. I had similar habits. While on the program she list a total of 89 lbs. I feel like it was about 8 months total. Then I was coming upon my 1 year follow up and she was looking great and I was still fat and unhealthy. Initially she forced me on the program. But through the guidance of the health coaches I soon was motivated to do everything on my own. Health coaches Kelli and Debbie have their own different approaches but both very effective. Kelli is soft and gentle but doesn't let you off the hook if you cheat. Debbie having been a successful patient of the program herself is a little more direct but is completely empathetic bc she truly gets it. The diet is by no means easy. It takes a lot of commitment. But the program won't fail you if you are ready for it. It took about 6 months for me to lose 60 lbs and I still can go back on protocol if I fall off track. My little sister saw our success and in about a year she lost 100+ lbs. Legit she saved her life. another sister went on and I think she lost 40lbs in about 6 months or so. It has become a family affair. My wife now 2 1/2 years later has kept off the weight, does martial arts, walks marathons and has so much more energy. I on the other hand enjoy cooking now and in her words look better than I did in high school. This program definitely saved our lives and enriched the lives of our children bc now they have parents that can be more active with them and will hopefully be around for a long time. read more

The best diet I have ever tried. Lost 9.6 lbs in 3 weeks. One of the only diets approved by the FDA, found in clinics across the U.S. ran by certified doctors and staff. A medically developed weight loss protocol, founded on science with over 3,000 locations world wide. Founded by Dr. Tran Tien Chanh (Paris). Pharmalab manufactures the food products included in this weight loss program. www.osrweightmanagement.com www.idealprotein.com www.pharmalab.ca The Ideal Protein Clinic is located inside Oahu Spine and Rehab on the 3rd floor. It is managed by Dr. Linda Anegawa (Board Certified Obesity Medicine and Internal Medicine) and Kelli Wilson. They are amazing women, striving to help people not only lose weight but feel healthier about their lifestyles! The Ideal Protein diet is fairly new to Hawaii but popular in the U.S. mainland. There are clinics across the 50 states and support groups all across social media. There is a small cost, a one-time membership payment -- this includes a blood test/urine test before you start your health care journey; weekly follow ups; 24 hour support from Dr. Linda & Kelli; access to purchase foods/vitamins/supplements; and a lifelong maintenance plan once even after you've hit your goal weight. ***You can get a discount once you complete a free workshop. There are 4 phases to this diet process, but let me tell you, I've been in phase 1 for 3 weeks and I feel amazing!!! There are so many recipes that you can make with the food and for dinner you can pretty much load up on whatever protein you want. Its the best diet because the food choices are flexible and theres so much variety. As I type, I am having an Ideal Protein Latte and Ideal Protein Chocolate cupcakes. Yes, I can have these things without feeling like I've cheated or throw myself out of ketosis. This is an amazing program and I know I won't get tired of it. Pros: -Free Parking -Free child care while in appointments -Clean bathrooms on the same floor -Speedy check-ins -Awesome staff -Accepts insurance (for Ideal Protein, accepts flex spending with insurance plans) read more

I've been a client of OSR for a month, so far I've lost around 18 lbs with the Ideal Protein plan. It's a science-based guided weight loss plan that takes the guesswork out of your diet. They tell you what to eat, you eat it, and you lose weight. Linda and Kelli are the two sweetest and most encouraging coaches you could ask for. Linda is an experienced physician with dual board certifications, which is pretty neat. Weight loss is never easy, you're still going to have to put the work in to be truly healthy. However, the prospect of changing your body and lifestyle for the better is awesome! read more

The ideal protein meals are good. I use them for my personal diet. Chips rarely fit any diet but their BBQ ones are a treat. The bars taste great and the caloric break down works for several other diets besides theirs. Basically, if you are into dieting and being healthy you know how hard it is to not get bored of a limited selection of meals. As far as the diet, I think it's a great turn key diet and know several people including my in laws who have lost weight and improved their blood work while on this diet. read more

Dr. Anegawa and Kelli along with the Ideal Protein diet are changing my life. I'm averaging 3 lb loss per week and it feels wonderful. No diet is easy, but this is the best I've ever tried and the only time I've lost 50+ pounds with a diet in my life. It's so reassuring to have a physician guiding and monitoring my plan and Kelli's support. Once I was finally really ready to make the change, I'm so glad I chose them and Ideal Protein to be the plan for me. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone wanting to lose weight, even when you feel like you have tried everything, go see them, learn about the protocol and get started! "I should have waited to get started." - said NO ONE EVER! Get started now, in just a few weeks or months you will see RESULTS! Just be aware that you will need to attend an information session and get blood work done before you can start. This is a doctor monitored program, for your health. read more

OSR Weight Management - One of my favorites. Taste like rice crispy treats. - Weight Loss Centers Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

Lost 70 pounds and in better health than I started. It's like a formula to follow protocol and lose ten pounds monthly.

Debbie, the Honolulu health coach for OSR WM, helped my wife and I lose weight right after the holiday season. We recommend her, the Ideal Protein protocol, and OSR Weight Management to anyone looking to better their eating habits and regain control over their weight. The food tastes great and I actually prefer it over most so-called "healthy" snacks they sell at the store. My wife has celiac and bladder issues and they both have improved. It's great that she can get off medication and live a happier and healthier life - and we did it together which helped with motivation and keeping each other in-check. read more

Debbie at OSR is an amazing coach! I came in with a goal of 70lbs and with her motivation and encouragement I'm half way there!!! The program itself is very easy to follow and stay engaged. It's also very educational! I'm a life long yo-yo dieter and was looking for something to finally end the vicious cycle of losing only to gain again. I'm very happy with my results and how my relationships with food and dieting has drastically changed. read more

While on the maintenance program for 5 months I gained 10 pounds so I decided to start Phase 1 again. Happy to announce that I lost 2 pounds in 2 days!! Thanks to my awesome coach Debbie for reminding me that I know what to do to drop the weight! read more

I have lost about 70 pounds in my first 9 months with this office. The diet is easy because I get to eat the stuff I like such as grilled pork chops, chicken, steak and lots of veggies. I have an omelette every day for breakfast and have my coffee. I said bye to rice and bread for now, but honestly its been worth it. Cynthia is a great coach- she meets the dieters where we are. Its a tough line to draw because many of us are in a place where we don't feel good about ourselves and what we eat is often a very personal sore spot. Sharing that can be difficult, but I recommend you give it a try! read more

OSR Weight management has been a transforming journey that has taught me and continues to support me. I have been off prescription medication for numerous medical issues for over 2 years now. Debbie has kindly said she can call her anytime for coaching/advice. Thank you, Debbie, for being so awesome! You need to be cloned. read more

Kelli, at OSR Weight Management, has been coaching me through my weight loss journey since 7/20/17. Each week during our scheduled meeting, Kelli cheerfully encourages my progress and provides me printouts of charted numbers and diagrams. Kelli has really helped me stay on track with our weekly meetings--even accommodating me with last minute appointment changes due to my work schedule. So far, I'm down 20 pounds; lost 3 inches off my hips and 3 inches off my waist; 2.50 inches off my chest; 2.75 inches off each thigh; and 2 inches off each upper arm. I know that my weight loss goals are attainable and am looking forward to reaching that marker within the next few months.
