I needed to move into my unit on a Sunday with short notice due to some unexpected circumstances…read more I used their webiste to rent a unit as the office was closed. When I arrived to the facility the gate code didn't work so we couldn't get into the unit. We double and triple checked the code and called emergency number 3 times and went straight to voicemail with no call back. We also tried renting another unit on the Kiosk at the office, with the same results. After a few hours we were finally able to tailgate someone in and unload, unfortunately by then it had started to pour rain. Turns out that the website inaccurately stated that the gate code could be between 6 & 10 numbers but in reality it has to be 6. The next day I contacted them to get it straightened out and to ask that the $20 admin fee be returned to me for my trouble. The assistant manager, Jim, was very helpful but the refund had to be approved by his regional manager, Tyler. Tyler denied the request. So the moral of the story is make sure you pick a 6 digit gate code, pray there isn't an actual emergency because nobody will answer, and Tyler has terrible customer service.

Not to mention the awful conditions of most of them! Roberts Storage was not near the top of my results, but I finally made it down the list. I called them and was satisfied with their price.... Oh, and they were polite on the phone! I drove down and gave them a look. Not only did I rent a storage unit for my crap, but I ended up using them to store my car too! This place is clean, professional, and personable. They have a good security gate with keypad and locks are available if you need one (small additional charge). The owners are always driving through which made my crap feel safe too! They are expanding now so this place can only keep getting better! Certainly the only place to go in the area! Having read the one star review, I can say that any storage facility you use will not make any guarantees about damage to your belongings except for the liability insurance they hold for building damages incurred from natural disaster. It's too bad his property was damaged from mice but that has nothing to do with this facility and he is unfairly rating the company as a result. As for telephone service, the facility does have someone onsite during regular business hours, but is not sitting by the phone the entire time. Like any single staffed company, if you can't get them on the phone, go see them. 2-3 months of calling seems it isn't important enough to make an in person visit where a prized and valuable asset is being stored. I love the personalized code to get you into the gate and the multiple cameras onsite for additional security measures. All of the buildings are in TOP shape and made with steel 2x4's and trusses. This is one of the best locations and facilities in the area. In addition, A LOT of people store their RV's and boats here. So a lot of people feel their property is safe.

This place earns it's name PROS!!…read more The office is clean bright and offers boxes, locks and other moving materials. The security is excellent and the place is in perfect shape with excellent maintenance. The big deal for me is the security. The fences are well build and in good repair. The front gate is computer controlled and closes behind each and every vehicle. The storage building are ALL in great shape and clean!! They are lit and have outlets in the unit I'm renting. The staff is warm friendly and helpful. The person I've dealt with is knowledgeable and helpful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business!!
