The attendant at the pro shop was very nice and provided a lot of insight on the course. I shot even par and my wife had fun as well. There is water holes so be prepared if you're not an avg golfer however there are tee boxes to help minimize the water in play except on number 10 which is an island green.

Which wasn't too bad. But we seemed to be an inconvenience overall. I don't really have a desire to return to this bar.

It's a cute location in a cute area; it had such a fun, authentic vibe outside and in. We came in and wanted to get straight to bowling, and the staff member who set us up was helpful and friendly. The alley area is pretty small, as it's only four lanes. But while I'm sure that could be a disappointment on a crowded night, we found the small size to be conducive to chatting with each other as we played. It's definitely different from standard bowling: you don't wear bowling shoes, the pins are attached to strings that pull them up (as opposed to freestanding pins at a standard alley), and you use smaller, hole-free balls. You also get three throws per frame as opposed to two. I'm not good at bowling, and I'm -- so far -- not good at the duck pin variant. But I didn't find it frustrating, just fun to learn and play! I managed no strikes and a whopping one spare, although I did find the advice posted on the walls helped me get a bit better. I think there is a type of person (someone who takes bowling seriously, or maybe too seriously) who wouldn't enjoy this, but it's really entertaining if you can go in with a good mindset. And not having to find shoes or bowling balls that fit is a huge plus. As far as timing, it took us about an hour and 15 minutes to play two full games; we didn't rush, but we didn't daddle, either. They charge by the hour or half hour, and we paid for our first hour then added a half hour to finish out a second game. A couple who came in about halfway through our visit managed to just squeeze in 10 frames in 30 minutes. We didn't explore the (intriguing) upstairs area, but I did get a fabulous drink -- the Saturn -- at the bar. While I felt like the bowling was a little pricey (not unreasonably priced, to be clear, just something I couldn't afford quite as often), I was surprised at the great value of the drink. Plus, it was delicious -- super well-balanced -- and the bartender was lovely. Even outside of the bowling fun, I could see this being a regular hangout for me if I lived in the area. But even though it's more than an hour from home for me, I'll absolutely take family and friends up to visit when I can. It's an awesome place to have in the region.

The masters are a wonderful help for guidance alone; they also bring a necessary amount of information. The amount of diversions in here is impressive. I learned I'm very good at cornhole, exceptional at throwing hatchet and can't shoot pool to save my life. But nobody beats me at ping pong!!!! FROM A PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVE: So basically, this was a team building exercise by corporate to fuse together a diverse crowd from different counties. The facility itself is a great idea for group events. For us, bringing a variety of personal from assorted assignments together in a relaxed atmosphere for mind mapping purposes did yield a few useful ideas. Mostly it educated. We found that we still hung on to traditional gaming match-ups such as: Tim and Lisa vs. Stephanie and Greg. We quickly learned that Greg is useless at cornhole but excels at axe throwing. Lisa was the opposite. It's all Learning. Steven can't drink enough to keep up with Diana; Tim can shoot stick, Stephanie is the best dancer of anyone in the building. These morsels are telling and provide valuable data. We persevered by focusing our strengths on various problems in the equation. Now, the Ideation storm did lead the way to an avalanche of potential plans and schemes. It also worked to solve existing production issues. Pickleball has taken Yulee/Fernandina Beach by storm! Now there are 8 covered, brand new courts…read morecentrally located off Hwy 200 and US 17...look for the tall white, domed roofs (almost like it's a plant nursery-but it's not) about a mile down from the intersection, on right side. There is a very nice building with shirts, pickleball stuff, micro, refrig., etc. brand new restrooms and covered outside picnic tables. Shelly, one of the owners, says they will have food trucks certain days/evenings. If you wanted to learn or love to play...you need to check them out!

Today was Wild Amelia for many educational groups, nonprofits for the environment, parks, native animals in area, local vendors (including kids booths either things they made), food/beer trucks, kids/adult fun booths and live, local music! We stopped by the main beach to take a walk along the water line, test the water temperature, and…read morelook for shells. The beach was clean, white and wide. It takes a bit to walk from the parking lot to the water so we understood why so many folks had those carts with wheels. There were a few benches at the edge of the parking lot right on the start of the beach. We sat for a bit here, too, enjoying a cool breeze coming off the water. Although there's no shade anywhere except if you've brought your own umbrella, it was still pleasant. We did join the folks looking for sharks teeth. The beach has been replenished with fill so if you dig a bit by the water, you can uncover all sorts of tiny bits. We hadn't come prepared with digging tools as some had so we were not seriously looking. And the folks with their metal detectors were also wending their way up and down. We liked this beach and if we'd been in town longer, we'd have come here again for a bit of r and r. It's great that it is a public beach open to all. There were not many people swimming or even in the water. I'm not sure if it was undertow there or not. There were no lifeguards that we saw.

This is one of the best beaches for watching sunrises. I have come to this beach twice now, and I'm…read morein awe of the breathtaking views of the sunrise. It is known locally as the shark tooth beach because locals find quite a few here. My family and I found just 1 after a weekend of looking, but got a lot of shells I will be using for art. Memorial benches are set for visitors to sit and watch the sea as well as sunrises.
