I had an appointment scheduled for 6:30 PM, yet walk-ins were continuously taken ahead of me. After waiting for two hours, I still had not been seen. At one point, the front desk assured me I was next, but another full hour passed without any update or acknowledgment. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing to have an appointment disregarded like this especially as a long-time client. If you're UNABLE to manage both appointments and walk-ins effectively, then you shouldn't be accepting walk-ins at the expense of scheduled customers. Respecting clients' time should be a basic standard. Unfortunately, that was not the case tonight. I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere, and I won't be coming back. EVERYONE looked flustered and stressed out. I wouldn't trust someone doing my taxes if they were acting like this because they can easily mess up numbers. I'm also leaving a google review. And let me add before the owner tries to respond with some BS. This was a day before the tax deadline. It doesn't matter if it's the same day. Do not OVERBOOK if you can't handle the workload and do not take walk in's before appointments.

I've driven out to both their Palmdale and Sylmar…read moreoffices, brought friends and family, and always had a great experience--until this year. My husband and I wanted to take our honeymoon in March, so we went in early January to file our taxes. We were told by Ruben, who we've always worked with, we would receive our refund by early February. February passed and still no refund. I checked online and saw that my information was entered incorrectly. I immediately emailed. A few days later, Ruben called me saying I needed to call the tax boards to address the errors. After calling, I was told a check had been sent, to the wrong address and I needed to wait 28 business days to request new ones but my tax preparer could call them. When I texted Ruben asking for him to do so, I was left on read. Ruben had left out my apartment number and entered my routing number incorrectly (off by two digits), which caused my entire refund (electronic and check) to bounce back. What's frustrating is that I had filled out all my information clearly on a form in the waiting room. A simple clerical error like this has now led to months of delays & countless hours on the phone with the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board. It's now May, and I still haven't received my refunds. I've called and emailed multiple times, asking to speak with a manager or the owner, asking for a call back, even requesting a refund of my service fees, no one has responded. No accountability, no follow-up. The ironic part? I paid $180, and the next day they called me saying I hadn't been charged enough, so I paid them another $50 out of respect for our long-standing relationship. That respect wasn't mutual. What if I were ever to be audited, how would I get support from a business that won't even return a phone call to fix a filing mistake they made? I'm writing out of serious disappointment. I genuinely hope they start treating loyal clients with the care and follow-through we deserve. If you decide to use them, just be aware of what you might be getting into.
