I used to like going here, but after today, no more. A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I had a quit claim deed notarized to transfer a property from my LLC back under my name. We completed a total of 4 signatures which we were charged $40 ($10/signature) and were given an additional acknowledgement sheet from the notary. Today, we came in to have another quit claim deed notarized to transfer the property from our names back to our LLC. The form is EXACTLY the same as before -- just that the Grantor/Grantee fields had changed. When we returned home, I realized we were only charged $20 this time and that there was no acknowledgement sheet and that my wife and I had not been asked to sign two of the fields (Grantor/Grantee) that we had in our previous document. I emailed them and the notary called me back. Basically, I was told that 1) The forms were of different formats (NOPE) which is why they didn't give us an acknowledgment sheet this time around. When I told her they had copies of the forms and I was looking at them right in front of me, I was told I was wrong. 2) it was MY responsibility to make sure all signature fields were already filled in prior to my visit. I'm pretty sure this isn't what she really meant, but this is VERY bad advice from a notary that you're supposed to sign in front of -- especially considering they charged us for this the first time around. At the end of the day, what really matters is that I'm able to submit my notarized document. However, it was her incessant and condescending need to talk over me just to get me off the phone that has cost them my future business. TL;DR -- When presented with possible omissions or errors, the notary became extremely rude and more eager to get rid of me than handle the issue gracefully. read more

I used Express Document Solutions to help me get a tourist Visa for a trip to China. I do not live in Los Angeles and needed a reliable and trustworthy service to submit my visa application materials on my behalf to the Chinese consulate in LA. I also needed the Visa on a fairly quick timeline (approx 10 days) and was very worried about which companies I could trust to send my passport to, submit my application, and then pick the passport/visa back up from the consulate after approval.
