This place changed my life. I went there in July 2024 with severe knee pain.. I was told that I…read moreneeded two total knee replacements. Dr. Hansen has changed my life.. I went from not being able to go shopping or walking any more than three minutes at a time to strength training, walking everywhere that I want to go and shopping till I drop. Because of thei change in my mobility, I've lost 80 pounds. And I am able to enjoy my life again. Dr. Hansen was very patient and kind and everybody at Summit orthopedics has been so nice and so helpful.. I owe them so much changing my life with my knee replacements. I had no issues before during or after both knee replacements. I recommend summit orthopedics to anyone that asks. I feel like I'm a great self advocate for my health and care and they listen.. Dr. Hanson is the best! Every time I see him I always tell him thank you for changing my life.

Old age is definitely catching up with me. In fact, it's here. Years of playing sports have taken…read moretheir toll. A few days earlier I was stepping up onto a curb and heard a pop in the back of my knee. I was able to walk to where I was going, however after that, it was very painful. After 3 days of icing and tylenol, it wasn't getting much better. Time to have a professional take a look. I considered Urgent Care. Looking around at the different locations, some had x-ray and MRI and some did not. Then I thought about making an appointment with an orthopedist. It was then that I noticed that there was an orthopedic urgent care. I elected to visit the Summit Orthopedics in Woodbury. We arrived when they opened and registered. We were seen within 10 minutes. After taking some pictures of my knee, I met with a gentleman named Larry who examined my knee. He explained and showed us while there is no damage, there is arthritis. I was able to get an injection into my knee which wasn't as bad as I expected. This helped a lot with the pain. He then advised lots of ice and time. Really appreciate the information and care I received at Summit Orthopedics in Woodbury.

Not sure why they have poor ratings. We have both had physical therapy here and I also had surgery…read more Plus the after-hours clinic is nice too. I like this location better for physical therapy. The physical therapists are top notch and the equipment is top of the line. The cold compression is the dessert after PT. Surgery went well and they follow up.

My husband had a total knee replacement done with Dr Vorlicky seven months ago. Even though my…read morehusband had some complications after surgery primarily due to the hospital's negligence, we are very pleased with Dr Vorlicky's work and his support team at TCO, especially Nate and Lauren. This review is not about the surgery or TCO, but instead about I-Health, who handles the billing for TCO. Out of 13 physical therapy visits, I-Health coded three visits for the wrong knee when submitting the bills to my husband's workers comp insurance. Of course the claims were denied, and even though I contacted I-Health numerous times and was told they would correct the error and resubmit the claims, I am still dealing with it over six months later. After the second denial by workers comp, again still submitted with the never corrected procedure code for the wrong knee, I-Health arbitrarily submitted the denied claims to my husband's Medicare insurance, and sent us a bill for the copays, of which we wouldn't have to pay anything related to his work comp injury if they would just code everything correctly. On top of that, they now randomly submit claims for subsequent visits to Medicare instead of workers comp. I have made no less than ten phone calls to I-Health over the last five months, including leaving two messages for the manager (Todd) to call me back (which he never did), and I'm now at my wits end. I am now writing letters to TCO's patients advocates, Minnesota's Attorney General's office, and leaving one star reviews on every social media platform that I can think of. What could have been a good experience for us and accolades for TCO, has now resulted in absolute frustration, wasted time on the phone and writing letters, and one star reviews for TCO since they chose to use such an incompetent company for their billing.

I've seen these commercials for the Good Feet store. Well I found a good feet doctor. I have had…read morevarious issues with my toenails for the past couple of years. A few months ago I went to see Dr. McCarthy in Eagan. He works out of both Eagan and West St. Paul. I had a really bad toenail. After some discussion we decided to remove the nail. The process was much easier than I had anticipated and relatively painless. My toe feels much better. I recently went back to see Dr. McCarthy to discuss both of my big toes. He gave me a couple of treatment options. Again we were able to complete the procedure the same day. My wife has now also seen Dr. McCarthy for a foot issue. We appreciate both Dr. McCarthy and his nurse for their care. Our feet are definitely feeling better after a visit to our good feet Dr. McCarthy.

Busy clinic. They lost my bloodwork request fax…read more Didn't add either my appointment or test results to MyChart. When I rang "their" number it's the central Allina number in Coon Rapids, who couldn't get hold of them (no one picked up) and couldn't provide me with a direct number, as the Coon Rapids telephone factory operates internally with only extensions. There is no number for this clinic. Blood work elsewhere, eg. Allina United Family Clinic, is usually same day and appears on MyChart. Apparently the African American lab staff also have to deal with racism from patients who don't want their blood drawn by black people. Go anywhere else. Adding this: I found out a few days later that they hadn't billed the blood tests to my insurance, and consequently I got a bill for $$677.29. This necessitated me having to create an account with Quest Diagnostics and go and enter insurance information there. It's still pending. Results didn't take the usual day, they took a week to receive and only after I'd registered and entered insurance details with Quest Diagnostic. It was like Quest were holding them until they knew where payment was coming from. Results are not on my Allina's MyChart, meaning the feature where you can compare them to previous test results was defeated. I've been an Allina/United Hospital patient for years. My insurance details are already all in their system. There's just no excuse for this level of discombobulation just because i'd moved and thought I'd get my regular tests done at a nearer Allina clinic. I'll be taking the bus an hour each way to my former clinic rather than go through this again.
