When things go wrong, their operation…read moredemonstrates a total lack of accountability, basic ethics, and ironically, a complete LACK OF INTEGRITY. They dispatched an unsupervised subcontractor to repair a roof leak at my home. It was an absolute disaster. Using sub-standard materials and atrocious workmanship, he actively made the leak worse--all while manipulating me into paying nearly $1,000 for useless "repairs". When the leak immediately flooded again, the subcontractor tried to extort more money from me, blamed me for his failure, and aggressively pressured me to grant him entry to my home. When another company representative finally inspected the damage, he explicitly admitted the subcontractor's work was completely improper and revealed they had been forced to fire him due to a string of client complaints. Despite sending a rogue contractor who caused further damage, management took zero responsibility. The unaddressed breach forced me to pay thousands out of pocket to have the entire roof replaced by a competent contractor. Worst of all is their cowardice in customer service. A representative promised to discuss my reasonable request for reimbursing the wasted $950 and get back to me. They completely stonewalled me and never called back. Leaving a retired senior out of pocket for a disaster of their own creation and then ghosting them is disgraceful. Operating under the name "Integrity" while abandoning customers the moment a mistake is made is pure hypocrisy. Look elsewhere.

Excellent Roof Repair Service! Highly recommend!!!…read more After last winter's ice damming caused leaks in my kitchen, I contacted JP Lucky Construction based on a friend's recommendation. From the start, Wendy was quick to respond and set up a free consultation within two days. James inspected my roof and offered an honest, practical solution without pushing for unnecessary work. The repair was done promptly and professionally, and Wendy kept me updated throughout. I'm very happy with their service and would highly recommend them!

On September 3, 2022, I entered a contract with Wendy, representing JP Lucky, for the framing of a…read morecustom home in Stouffville. Throughout the construction process, Wendy frequently changed the contractors assigned to the project--ultimately involving four to five different teams. I was present on-site regularly and personally observed these changes. The subcontractors engaged by JP Lucky often delivered substandard work. Once deficiencies were identified, JP Lucky would dismiss the existing team and hire new subcontractors to continue. Although I fulfilled my obligations under the contract, JP Lucky failed to complete the project on time, and the work completed was defective. Due to these issues, I submitted a claim for adjudication through the Ontario Dispute Adjudication for Construction Contracts (ODACC), Case No. XXXX. On December 18, 2024, ODACC issued its Determination, providing copies to both the Respondent and me. The Determination ordered the Respondent to reimburse me $XXX,XXX (including HST) and $X,XXX (including HST), representing 50% of the adjudication fee. Despite my repeated demands, JP Lucky has failed to comply with the Determination or remit the required payment. While Wendy and JP Lucky initially present themselves as amicable and reliable, their conduct reveals a failure to act in good faith. Despite receiving payment for services, they have refused to return funds for work that was either unfinished or materially deficient, thereby disregarding the interests of their clients.

What a rollercoaster of an experience. First started with Joseph who promised us that it would be a…read moregreat experience and he even throw in a upgrade on the step. The work is good but that's when things started to turn. First during the job Mitchell got the step wrong but in my favour added an even larger step. I heard him then yell at Joseph. When the job was done I was able to get my neighbor to use them for a job. And they used my water. ( I love my neighbor and would have allowed them to use my house/water, but me or my wife were never.asked and I only saw a kid under my deck turning on/off my water.. When I asked Mitchell why, he said don't worry I gave you an upgrade on the step. Now the last thing is there's a part of the pathway to the side of the house where the brick is separating/falling and I've been asking Mitchell to come and fix ( he said it's under warranty, at least what Joseph mentioned to me) it's been 2 months no show. Joseph and Mitchell aren't working together anymore and it's been stressful trying to figure out who can come and fix it. Would I recommend their work? I did before but now after experiencing this I would say just go deal with Joseph directly who has his own landscaping company (njx) I'm still willing to change this review as the work was done well by Mitchell, just a small fix is needed but the whole experience was basically a shitshow

My neighbour and I signed up on July 11, 2020 to get a driveway extension and interlocking…read morecompleted. The man who we have only met in person and talked to was Joseph. We were under the impression that he would be doing the work. He signed us up under a contract with Can-Loc Interlocking and had to pay a 10% deposit. Can-Loc Interlocking is owned by Mitchell Nugent. There were a lot of promises that he would come on a certain day to do the work. We were initially told he was booking 2 weeks out from when we called to sign up but it took a month for Joe to come and complete the excavation which occurred on Aug 6, 2020. Once the excavation was completed, he said that the interlocking would be completed soon. He never gave us a date. Since August we have been following up with Joe numerous times and he keeps saying that Mitchell will be here on a certain day but no one shows up. I have a screenshot of Joe's and Mitchell's text messages indicating that Mitchell doesn't care about when he starts and he doesn't care that he starts in November. He also indicated that he doesn't have to give us any updates. At that point Mitchell had never reached out to us. He finally replied to my text message on Sept 24 saying he would be here the following week. It's now December and he's yet to arrive. Every week he had an excuse of being tied up and couldn't make it. On Oct 9, we decided to change the brick colour to get the work expedited because we found out the colour we want was not available by calling a local store. Mitchell then said that he can 100% be here the following week once we changed the brick colour. On Oct 14, he said Best Way Stone would be delivering the bricks on Saturday. Nothing arrived so then he said Monday-Tuesday. Nothing arrived again. He then said he would pick up the bricks himself on Wednesday and be here end of Wednesday or Thursday. I have followed up with him since Thursday and he hasn't responded to my calls or text messages. In fact, he has never returned any of my calls. We have paid 55% of the entire cost and so far we just have a big hole in the front of our driveway's.
