I went to see Dr. Sadikman and that was the start of a wonderful patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Sadikman is my GP or general physician. He is absolutely the kindest, most caring doctor, and such an excellent doctor. He won't give up in finding what is wrong with you, if you are sick. He listens to you and is very thorough in checking for what is making you ill. He will recommend a specialist, if you need one. The office just moved and they are in Bethesda now off of Rockledge Drive. His nurses Lilly and Taryn are the nicest medical professionals you could happen to meet. They are so receptive to your needs. Dr. Sadikman is a concierge practice. So, you pay a yearly fee. The nice thing about that is you can get in to see him, when you need to. I highly recommend Dr. Sadikman.

Yes, CDC lists this vaccine and advises to take it, but Dr. Sadikman went much further, asking me about specific conditions I am likely to encounter, time of the year I will travel etc. before making his recommendation. That was most thoughtful. Dr. Sadikman is so much more than other docs who just want to write you a prescriptions. I feel very fortunate to have found his practice. Starting with our first few appointments, Dr. Reddy spent so much time to understand my current and past health, I was almost concerned I was his only patient. Of course I was not his only patient, that's just how Dr. Reddy works, and he works hard long hours. I'm a complex patient with a variety of health issues requiring many different specialists who have performed countless surgeries. Dr. Reddy has been indispensable with his specialist recommendations. Dr. Reddy talks to the other specialists involved in my care, so they all work together to develop a cohesive plan for my health care and to ensure no risks aren't understood and mitigated where possible. Fast forward to 2026 and now I'm 56 years old and in better health now than back in 1998. He has always given me honest to the point advice on how to improve my health and encouraged me as much as any professional can. He helped me set and meet goals. The front office staff and the other medical assistants, phlebotomist are always friendly. The person answered my call was nice. After he put me on hold a couple of times, he found out that my sample was never submitted. The reason was when the lab technician came to pick up samples, the person that worked in the doctor's office never printed the doctor's order for my sample. As a result, they never submitted my sample. I don't understand why 1st, the person that was responsible for printing the order didn't do it; 2nd, why the technician didn't alert the office there? 3rd, why nobody from the doctor's office called me and asked me to go back and give sample again? It's frustrating and makes me wonder what kind of other mistakes they can make? Mixing up patient's samples or orders? As of now, I am waiting for their office manager to call me back.

A Dr. Patel emailed me saying she was filling in for Wexler and would send a script into CVS Specialty for me. That was over a week ago, and I still have no medicine because CVS Specialty claims Dr. Patel sent them an incomplete script. I sent a message regarding this to Dr. Patel, and all I got was an out of the office response. So, the circus starts all over again. I am disappointed with MedStar to allow such poor care to be acceptable. Their doctors are overworked, and I wonder if Dr. Wexler even has a staff based on the nonresponses I've received for so long. It is unbelievable ill people must go through so much just to get a prescription. If you want a doctor who responds to your needs, look for someone who cares enough to read his e-mails and has a staff who calls back.

We traveled from Bethesda to MedStar Washington Hospital Center expecting to receive the care we had arranged. Instead, I was told that I no longer had an appointment because I had supposedly been "dismissed from the practice" due to an alleged incident in 2016, ten years before my scheduled appointment. I had never been notified of this alleged dismissal. No one could tell me what the incident was, who made the decision, why it was made, or provide any documentation or explanation. I learned of my supposed dismissal only after arriving for my appointment. If a medical practice decides to dismiss a patient, there are generally accepted practices intended to ensure the patient is informed and has an opportunity to obtain care elsewhere. Based on my experience, those standards were not followed. The situation became even more troubling when my husband, who had his own valid appointment, respectfully questioned what had happened. Shortly afterward, Dr. Kurzrok personally informed him that he also would not be seen. As a result, neither of us received the care we had scheduled and still urgently need. This experience was not simply about a canceled appointment. It was about a complete lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for patients. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Kurzrok, The Neurology Center, or MedStar Health. Patients deserve honest communication, fair treatment, and continuity of care, not unexplained denials of care after traveling to a scheduled appointment.

As far as Dr. Mills goes, I understand how some other reviewers could give her a negative rating, because she does have a certain way about her that can be misinterpreted. But she really is smart and great, it's just the practice's increased emphasis on cost-cutting and speed, and her trying to increase productivity as others seem to tell her is better, when it is not, and she is better than that. The change in reviews here and on other websites over time is noticeable, where people used to talk about how great the doctors, including Dr. Mills were, and how much time Dr. Mills spent with patients and really caring for and about patients, while newer reviewers talk about how quick and curt she seems. I believe it is a function of someone telling her that is how to increase productivity, and (thought some of the staff are really good and nice) because she has certain staff that have no care for the patient and only want to rush patients, and even rush Dr. Mills. Being a primary doctor is calling, and the relationship that patients have with their GPs is much different then with other doctors. Dr. Mills has the ability to be one of the great ones, but she has to follow her caring soul, and not what her staff say or what she is told will make more money. Dr. Mills and the other doctors also need to recognize that staff should not be able to run the direction of the practice or treatment of patients as some do. Things are only worse for many of us, since they stopped taking insurance and charging well above insurance allotments. Again, somebody must have convinced Dr. Mills that was a way to make more money - likely staff who did not want to deal with billing codes - but it is not. Some offices cut their prices after stopping to take insurance, but this office charges more. Most people just cannot afford to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for basic doctors visits, and in the end, we all go to less doctors visits and get less medical care than than we need, and they get less patients then they need. It's a lose-lose. So, I would encourage you to still try Dr. Mills, but encourage her to be her caring self, and take time, and not be rushed by staff who seem to control things, and not to make the practice an assembly line. Care for patients, take insurance, spend the time, be nice - and everyone will profit in money, happiness and soul.
