The guy brought over the lotion selection thing and said this cost $55.....Not very good business practice to mislead customers. Maybe they don't understand English... PANDEMIC POST. Pampering yourself during a pandemic is crucial! My mother and I took the necessary precautions to stay safe and get a pedicure for her Mother's Day gift. We were in great hands, I even saw them offering masks to clients that walked in without one. They also added additional safety measures with plastic dividers for manicures, some wearing a face shields and plenty of hand sanitizer located throughout. Our service was exceptionally friendly and efficient while they worked to make our toes pretty. I will definitely return! read more

Don't come to this place if you're coming with a group! We came here with ~12 people for a wedding and it was not a great experience. The bride was last to get a technician to work on her. I was late and no one even acknowledged that i was there. My gel manicure took less than 10 minutes which is way too fast. The tech barely filed my nails and asked if they were good before soaking my nails and i asked if that was the last time she was going to file. She said yes and i was appalled! The shape of my nails were crooked and she didn't care. She continued to rush through and get me outta there. My experience was mutual with the others in the group. $36 wasted! read more

I have NEVER done a yelp review but I'm making one to warn other girls. The customer service was horrible the guy left dents and bumps on my nails. To top it off I was charged $56! 48 for dip and an extra $5 because I got tips. By the way my sister got dip as well but way longer tip then I and we got charged the same. My girlfriend had her nails done with my sister here, the nails turned out fine. But her fingers were BLEEDING because of the poor quality of care. Not to mention, she also found the workers questioning what she wanted as the customer despite her sureness. Her fingers are still red and still hurt, she returned and they refused to give her the full price paid back despite the terrible quality. They have for sure lost two customers. read more

I tried Oscar's on a visit to Watertown. I originally went to another salon in town, but it seemed sort of sketchy so I headed over to Oscar's. I'm so glad I did! The salon looks brand new. It's very spacious, attractive, and comfortable. They have a large selection of polishes, and they do regular manicures, gel manicures, and pedicures. I got there around 5:00 on a Monday afternoon and I was taken immediately. Good thing, because it started filling up about half an hour later. I got a regular (not gel) manicure and a pretty floral design. I couldn't be more pleased. The instruments were sterilized and the technician really took her time to be sure my nails were the way I wanted them. The price ($21 before tip) may have been a little high for the area. I'd return in the future, nonetheless. read more

I went into Oscars for a nice mani/pedi for my birthday..expecting a relaxing visit. Little did I know it would be everything but that. My pedicure was just fine and turned out great. But when I was directed to the manicure area, I showed the guy that I wanted a very simple pink to white ombré. He began grinding my nails very vigorously which was painful. I informed him that it was painful and he continued to grind my nails the same way. He later got up and basically disappeared. I waited in my chair for about 15-20 minutes before a new girl came to do my nails. She was not wearing gloves and her nails did not look clean. Why am I forced to wear a mask if they won't even wear a pair of gloves?? She then proceeded to clip my nails..drops it on the floor...picks it up...and KEEPS CLIPPING MY NAILS WITHOUT CLEANING IT! Once she started with the dipping power, she used her very sharp thumbnail and tried pushing down the skin under my nail which was extremely painful. The filing process was probably the worst part. I informed her that she was hurting me every time I felt any pain and she was not changing her procedure whatsoever. Did not leave a tip and I will NOT be returning to such a horrible nail spa. read more
