What was really awesome was there were two tortoise dens here, I saw a huge Eastern Gopher Tortoise, they are endangered, I think it is so cool that this giant tortoise almost as big as my dog was just hanging out, looking at us. This park is on Old Tanner Williams Road, which dead ends at Big Creek Lake, the main reservoir for Mobile County. That section of the road is gated off to vehicles, there is a large gate blocking access, so if you want access to Big Creek Lake, just drive to Fox Landing in Semmes off of Halls Mills Road, it dead ends at the lake. This is an epic (seriously, Hollywood level production) Christmas light show paired to the holiday music streaming on the radio of your car, and Hank Aaron Stadium knocked it out of the park! (See what I did there? Lol!) The show, the ease of navigating the layout, the directions, the innovation, the LIGHTS (my God -- the beautiful lights), the song selection, the comfort of enjoying from inside your vehicle and not freezing to death outside -- I loved all 20ish minutes of it! Everything was fabulous and like nothing I (nor the hubs) had every witnessed before! Mobile definitely knows how to put on a Christmas Light Show, and if you know like I know-- you'll grab your kid(s), grab $6 bucks per head over 3 yrs old, and get down to the stadium before the CNOL season ends. It has a small zip-line, numerous slides, monkey bars and modern swings and other cool equipment. Plenty of benches, porta-potty and plenty of parking. This park was everything I was hoping for and MORE! We live near the Beloit Sky Carp Stadium which is also within the Marlins organization. That stadium is very new and also very cool but lacks in so many ways that The Wahoo Stadium Excels. The Stadium Seeing the Gulf of Mexico in the outfield while inside of a stadium is such a cool experience. It honestly is one of the best parks at any level that I have been to. They stadium seemed pretty large and it was practically sold out and yet i never felt crowded or overwhelmed. They have vendors everywhere so you aren't having to walk far at all when wanting food or drinks. Lastly, their prices really were very reasonable. Compared to parks in WI and IL, they did not break the bank which really surprised me. The Food They have the obvious normal foods that every park has but then they offered a ton of cool Florida themed seafoods, and other types of things I am not used to seeing where we live. They had tons of options for kids as well. The Entertainment I am a very traditional baseball fan and like to focus on the game alone, but I am not unrealistic when it comes to having young children who need a little more. The Wahoo's did such a good job in between innings to keep the kids engaged which was really fun to see. My Youngest usually wants to leave by the 5th and we were able to enjoy the entire game because she was engaged with things the whole time. This is a must visit attraction in Pensacola in my opinion. What an awesome little baseball stadium! We met some friends there last night to catch our first…read moregame. I will say, it was unnecessarily hard to find the stadium as it's not well marked on the campus guide and the directions we found online were wrong. It's on Old Shell Road on the right after you cross University. It's very simple to find the stadium if you know that, and now you know. There is plenty of parking nearby. Anyway, box seats with backs are only $10 and we ended up right behind the home plate. Great seats and a great price. The bleacher seats were even less expensive, allowing for a very inexpensive family outing. My hubs bought a bottled water for me, a can of Miller Lite for himself, and a box of popcorn for us to split. It was only $5 for all of it. Really great concession prices too. The stadium and field are both well kept and the crowd was lively. Honestly, I was pretty impressed with the overall experience. Compared to baseball stadiums at some of the bigger colleges, it's fair to say South's stadium is almost on par, but surpasses them when you factor in the prices. That definitely won't be our last game. (I'm really hoping my boy will choose to be a Jag next year too!)

I brought my 6 year old niece and we had home plate box seats in Sec. 102, Row 4. The net now goes all the way down baseline into outfield, so Ticketmaster seating chart is inaccurate. Had I known that, I would've bought the cheapest seat towards the outfield. Tickets for my game, June 2026, seemed to run $11-30. It's easy to enter and exit the park. There's a small pro shop and plenty of food and drink vendors but prices are high, on level with what you'd pay at a MLB game. $5 water, $10 hotdog, ball caps were $30-50, etc. Their website seems to offer a lot of game night promos, it was 2 for 1 night when we went but finding out what was on special was difficult when I did finally get answers after asking 3 staffers, it really wasn't a 2 for 1, more like combo deals. Our game ended up being suspended due to weather but they offered the opportunity to return for free to a future game this season. In the end, the experience was OK. In the future I'd come back but I'd buy the cheapest ticket and eat beforehand.

Parking is easy and cheap. The ticket prices are reasonable. The Shuckers have a lot of giveaways and family nights and fireworks every Friday. The atmosphere is very friendly and local and laid-back. We go whenever we can and we always have a good time. The food is actually pretty good. Of course it's a little pricey, because it's ballpark food. Lots of food to choose from - hot dogs (of course), pizza, chicken, BBQ, nachos, popcorn, the usual stuff you expect to see. Lots of beer options, draft beers or cans, in whatever variety you like.
