Someone's got a dirty mind lol...oh, it's just me then. Okay...
Justin F.

Really great experience coming here for the first time when we were camping nearby on LI. The restaurant was clean and separated between hibachi tables and sushi booths. We came just for sushi, but seemed like folks were having a great time at the hibachi tables. Presentation on our sushi platter of rolls was quite beautiful, and the service was on the ball and nice too. Expensive meal, but LI is one of the most expensive so no surprises there. Wish we had quality fish like this in NC, but alas...

We've been going for many years. And they are always consistently good. This last time I went with my family of 4, and I got, for the first time, the steak and lobster tail dinner. It was out of this world delicious. You have to treat yourself next time. My family got a bunch of sushi and rolls and they all loved it as well. I totally forgot to take pictures of all the food, because we were having such a wonderful time. But trust me, it was yummy.

Naruto and shrimp tempura roll

I've eaten here 2x for lunch. Each time was an okay experience. The food was good, but the service was lacking a bit. On one of the lunches, I ordered: - Naruto Roll - tuna, salmon, crab stick and avocado, wrapped in cucumber with ponzu sauce - shrimp tempura roll - shrimp tempura with avocado and cucumber These came out pretty well. But it was the server. I asked for spicy mayo and my friends asked for some sauces, but it took the server a really long time. We were all halfway done with our meals when we had to ask again. The second time I came, I ended up ordering chicken teriyaki. But I asked the server what the difference was between the Bento box and the lunch special. It was a legit question as I was just trying to verify since there was a huge difference in price. Her response, "the lunch is lunch and bento is bento." LIKE WTF. She looked at me like I was stupid. I did not like that at all. I was very polite the entire time. Even if it was a stupid question, I didn't need an attitude. I'll do her job and tell you the difference: The Lunch bento box is during the hours of 11a - 3p except Sunday. The Bento box is for any other time and is double the price. So be careful not to order the regular bento box if you're there from 11a-3p. For lunch chicken teriyaki it's $10, for bento outside of lunch hours is $21. Ambiance is quiet during lunch hours. Both times I've been there, there were 2-3 other tables occupied. Good food, but one of the servers has an attitude problem.

For our family dinner, we ordered a platter of assorted sushi rolls and were delighted with the outcome. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, the presentation visually appealing, and our order was ready for pickup at the designated time! Thank you Osaka :)

Kid's hibachi

I came here during a visit to my MIL. We brought my Little with us to have lunch. They're a sushi and hibachi restaurant and I ordered a kids hibachi lunch for my kiddo. It came with choice of protein, veggies and lomein. She used her training chopsticks and enjoyed her meal. The MIL did the same, ordering a hibachi lunch special and getting an extra California roll I ordered some spring rolls for the table and was happy that they cut them in half which made it much easier for sharing. I also ordered tuna tataki for the table and ended up being the only one eating it. It was really good. Very fresh. I order a maki lunch special with a salmon skin hand roll, Alaska roll and shrimp tempura roll. Everything was great. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. Because we visited during poor weather on a weekday, they were pretty empty, save for one lady that was having a loud conversation on her phone. I was a little annoyed that we were seated right next to her when their dining room was empty but we made due. I would definitely go back.

I've been going to this place for years with my parents and the food is always on point! The servers and all of the staff are very warm and welcoming. Service is quick and efficient! All of their food, whether is hibachi or the wide variety of sushi rolls they make is always fresh snd sooo tasty. They have daily special rolls as well! The ambiance inside is cozy and they always play nice music. Next time I visit my parents I am definitely coming back here again!

I've been coming to Osaka for years and it never disappoints. I'm not from NY but whenever I come to visit my family i always look forward to getting sushi here! They have amazing options and they're always fresh. The service is great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is so fun.

By far, the best sushi restaurant in Suffolk. I've been to over a hundred sushi restaurants in my 50 years. This one not only has great quality fish but the staff is incredibly friendly. I've been coming here for the past 5 years at least twice a week and became very friendly with the chef Henry and my favorite Hanna.. I just hope the owner is paying both of them well as with all the staff. My man, Henry, is a top-notch chef, and in my book, if I was able to, I'd give him a Michelin star for the incredible sushi creations he can come up with. Oh, I forgot to mention he is only 28. A rising star in this industry. Just look at some of his techniques when I ask if he could make me something special that is not on the menu. Pictures follow. Thank you, Okasa, for holding onto them. I may update this when back in FL but will post the pictures and hit the submit button now... net-net the Service was AWESOME and the sushi, all dishes and even the beverages were reminiscent of Midori a few owners ago and the Benton of years ago when they were in this location and Rocky Point. Service was good, very attentive and accomodating! I ordered a Coconut Shrimp appetizer that came with a sweet dipping sauce. The shrimp was delicious and the sauce was absolutely amazing! I ordered extra sauce even though they give you enough to start, because it was that good!! My main dish was Pad Thai with Chicken! It was ok but spicy. I've had Pad Thai before and it is never spicy so I didn't think to mention I like mild spice when I placed my order. I didn't return it, it wasn't their fault but I just couldn't get past the spice. I'm going back to order the same dish but mild, I'm sure it will be delicious then! I want to give them the extra star, I know it will be well deserved!

Outstanding customer service and great food! Perfect birthday celebration for your hibachi…read moreenthusiasts. Make reservations as the weekends are very popular here. We had a party of 6. Wasabi features 3 very large hibachi tables that can accommodate up to 20 people. There is also a nice bar area, and a dining room/sushi bar. They have all you can eat sushi dining as well. We came for hibachi. There were many groups celebrating birthdays, and everyone was made to feel special. I love how they spread you out instead of fitting you at another table where another party is sitting whenever possible. Those who are celebrating birthdays are given special treatment including balloon hats or animals, an icecream with candle while the staff beats on a drum and rallies everyone to sing happy birthday. It's fun. The food is very good and the portions are generous. Only knock was it was so hot in the hibachi dining area. Been here many times over the years, and temperature was never an issue. Maybe because it was very cold evening, the combo of the heat on the heat from hibachi was too much. Of all the hibachi choices in area, IMO you get the most meat here. Whether steak, chicken or seafood there is always plenty. Everyone had hibachi except myself. I had a bento box. It was so much food, I took a lot of it home. If you're seeking a great hibachi place, try here. It's worth going a little out of your way for.

Now, I can't remember the name of the roll, but it has bananas and mangoes in it with crumbled Oreos on top. ??? Weird - Yes. Tasty? Meh it was alright. It's like a desert roll so I should have really thought about that, but I had never heard of a roll like that before so I HAD to try it. It was good, but I should have stuck with a dinner type roll. Would recommend if you had a group of people, not as a sole roll for dinner. Service: Two servers, no complaints. Haha, the first waitress gave us these little packages at the start and I was like "What is this?" I opened it and there was a warm towel inside. Nice touch. I think she thought I was a complete rookie because I have never had a sushi place offer that before! Atmosphere: Very nice inside, good for a divey bar scene or for a nice date. Nice menus and the towels were cool. Price: 30$ a person pretty standard. It's sushi, so it depends on what you get. The guy I was with got a straight sashimi plate which was a little more expensive, so it just depends on how hungry you are! Overall: Cool place, bonus for the towels, the unique rolls and the service. Not sure I will be back this way but if I am, I hope this place is still around!

Happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7:30pm and is served at the bar only. We were lucky to arrive early since we were told by several people that it gets very busy. We ordered a little bit of everything. For drinks, we tried multiple Komodo Dragon and Mango Madness cocktails, which were $7 each during happy hour. We also ordered several happy hour appetizers and rolls, including the pork gyoza, popcorn chicken, chicken tempura roll, California roll, and American Dream roll. Everything tasted great, the presentation was nice, and the customer service was excellent. I ordered a Yuzu Mule but didn't care for the flavor. The bartender was very accommodating and happily switched it out for another drink, which I really appreciated. The ambiance was welcoming, with dim lighting and beautiful wood decor. We really enjoyed our outing and plan to come back again to try more from the menu.

After much debating and research, we decided it was finally time to try Hachiroku in New Haven. We already love going to The Loop, let's sit down and eat. Heard lots of positive buzz from fellow Yelpers and foodies, including a previous 2024 New Haven Best Restaurant of the Year at the CRAZIES. All of the accolades and positive reviews are well earned. Cozy and delicious. That's what I'd describe about Hachiroku. The ambiance is cozy regardless if you're sitting at the bar or in the upstairs seating. The food we ordered also had the same vibe. The menu rotates with the seasons and the freshest ingredients which we greatly appreciated and it shows in the tastes. Our seasonal selections that we ordered included Hokkaido scallop and octopus carpaccio with ikura and seaweed and monkfish karaage. The carpaccio had the perfect components to complement each other. The monkfish karaage fully came together between the lemon and the side of pickled radish as well. We also ordered house made fresh tofu and added uni. The staff mentioned "oh it's perfect, it's uni season" which made my day. It was so delicious and my husband who normally doesn't like uni even noticed how fresh it was. We really went wild ordering everything, including the mini Harasu don (teishoku which comes with rice, pickles, and we picked the salad), Black Cod grilled with Yuzu sauce, Yaki Kinoko Mushrooms, and the Kakuni Short Rib (which pairs very well with a side of rice). The most cozy and perfect dish for winter was the seasonal vegetable agedashi. Warm and had a nice variety of vegetables with a vegetable dashi broth that healed the soul. We enjoyed every dish and we noticed already when looking at the menu again there's already so many new items to try. Excellent service and suggestions from the staff (because if we didn't have them, we could've ordered the whole menu in one night). Can't wait to come back and rave about Hachiroku (and its sister stores/restaurants) to everyone!

Sushi AND seafood boil all you can eat?! Yes, please!…read more Sushi Kingdom has such a great concept! You get the best of both worlds, and everything is all you can eat. Ordering is done through an iPad, which makes the whole experience super easy and convenient. We tried a little bit of everything, but my favorite was definitely the seafood boil! I had shrimp, mussels, calamari, crab legs, sausage, eggs, potatoes, and corn. I went with the house special sauce, medium heat, and it was packed with flavor! Just the right amount of spice for me. The sushi was also a nice addition, with plenty of options to choose from. One thing is for sure, I'm definitely coming back, and next time I'm showing up HUNGRY!

I have to say, this is probably my favorite all-you-can-eat spot because they just do everything…read moreright. First, the prices are honestly kind of crazy for what you get. Lunch is $22.99 ALL WEEK, not just weekdays, and dinner is $32.99. They also have an all-you-can-eat Cajun seafood boil add-on. If you want snow crab legs, it's only another $10 with dinner. If you don't need the snow crab legs, it's only an additional $5 with lunch. Honestly, where are you getting a better deal for all-you-can-eat Thai, Japanese, Chinese, dim sum AND sushi?! I also love the tablet ordering system. There are pictures and descriptions for almost everything, so it's really easy to order. Everything is freshly made to order and they bring the food out as it's ready instead of waiting for your entire order to be finished. So things are constantly showing up hot and fresh. I've tried pretty much everything at this point Portions definitely vary. Some things are smaller, while the Chinese entrées are probably some of the biggest portions. The sesame chicken is SO GOOD. Super crispy, savory and flavorful on the outside but still juicy inside. The sushi is great too, although once you've completely overstuffed yourself, they all start tasting a little alike LOL. But seriously, everything we had was hot and fresh. Zero complaints. The inside is a little dark, but in a cozy/intimate way, and there's still plenty of lighting. From what I remember, it's mostly booths and they're really comfortable. Bathrooms have always been clean when I've been there, and they also have a walk-up hot bar and dessert bar. I leave here absolutely STUFFED every single time. It's worth every penny and then some. I already can't wait to go back and try the Cajun seafood boil next!
