The employees work hard and the food is delicious. Our favorite Asian in Boise! Our favorite is the beef and chicken with noodles.

My favorite place to eat when in Boise. Even if I'm not hungry I'll place an order to go. Nice portions for the price.

An Absolute Gem! Don't let the exterior or the entryway fool…read moreyou--once you're inside and sat down, you're in for an incredible meal. We had a fantastic time at Tepanyaki Japanese Steak House! Chef Lam was the star of the show; his entertainment while prepping and cooking was top-notch and kept us smiling and laughing the whole time. As for the food, every single bite was flavored and cooked to perfection. The fried rice, vegetables, shrimp, scallops, chicken, and filet mignon were all outstanding. If you're looking for high-quality food at a reasonable price and that classic, high-energy hibachi experience, this is the place to be. We'll definitely be back!

Oops. This was our go to for teppanyaki in Boise, not any more…read more The chef came out and was obviously in a hurry. Less than 5 minutes and we had our fried rice in the bowls. The chicken came out pre cut into cubes and obviously pre cooked. Or at least par cooked. The shrimp looked pre cooked as well. Lots of talking but very little cooking at the table. Re-heated chicken is never good. The table next to us had the food started 20 minutes before us and kept going for at least 20 minutes after our chef was done. The steak was hard to chew and like I said the chicken was reheated. Too bad. Next time I will spend a little more $ and have something I want from the place on Fairview.

Rotary Sushi is a solid spot for sushi in the Boise area. The quality is good, fish tastes fresh,…read morerice is well prepared, and everything feels clean and properly handled. For this style of sushi, it delivers. Service was friendly and attentive. Staff checked in regularly and were quick to help with special orders or questions. My only real critique is selection at certain times. When the restaurant is not very full, the conveyor belt can feel a little limited. That said, this is understandable. You cannot reasonably keep every option circulating if there are fewer diners, and made to order options help fill the gaps. Overall, good sushi, good service, and a fun experience. A reliable choice locally and one I would happily return to.

Surprised my wife with a date night here since she's always wanted to try one of those rotary sushi…read morespots, it was awesome! Parking was easy (big lot), and when we walked in, the conveyor bar wasn't too busy and the food was already making its way around. We usually order a roll right away when we go out for sushi, but here you can sit down and start grabbing plates right off the belt, which was super fun. They don't have a liquor license, but they do offer beers. Each plate comes with 3 pieces, so it's easy to try a bunch of different rolls without overdoing it. We even asked the sushi chef what was coming next and they were super friendly. If it were a little busier, I think the belt would stay even more full, but everything we had was fresh, tasty, and great quality. Overall, a really fun experience, over all I think we spent roughly $70 for two people, all the sushi, two miso soups, and two beers (1 large beer) which is on point what we usually spend when we go out for sushi. We'll definitely be back!
