She even came into the recovery area later to make sure I was OK. Throughout my visit, the entire team's combined efforts exceeded my expectations.

When we finally get seen in office, the drs are super knowledgeable! But the experience prior and after are very frustrating. Today I had a virtual apt scheduled for 2:40, it is 3:26 currently. Booked first appt after birth with ease. Every step of the way after that has been difficult & unprofessional. They never answer the phones. I'm not being dramatic, not once in eight months have I been able to get anyone on the phone. They advise to book within the portal. ANYTIME I submit a request, it's a delayed response. 8 days ago, I called, no answer. Sent a portal message explaining it was an urgent medical matter that I felt she needed seen for that day. The contacted me back today, 8 days later. I 10/10 do not recommend. If you prefer a more holistic approach with peds that don't push vaccinations, there are other much better offices than this.

These patients sing praises about Forte, from the doctors to the nurses to the efficient people at the front desk. From a visitor's point of view, Forte is great. They are very straightforward with their instructions, which I appreciate. Just tell me what to do and what to expect, and I'll do it and expect it. Everything went pretty much according to what they said. They have a smoothly running system here. Visitors can help themselves to the unlimited coffee and water at the coffee and water station. This is where the Little Free Library is located! The waiting room also has multiple seating arrangements, from high-top desks to comfy chairs to love seats. Or, if you need something to eat or drink, there's a cafe on the first floor. (See my separate review for La Verna Cafe.) The waiting room is airy and bright. One thing that's kinda weird is that a "cruise director" comes and talks about what to expect with your surgery ... right in the waiting room, among all those random people. That seems unusual, right? However, there are private rooms that you're taken to when the time comes to talk about your particular case with the doctor. As a visitor who is not a patient, Forte is great. But I've been told that it's also great being a patient here, so there's that.

Even though I am just beginning my recovery, I have a long way to go. The first day was an essential day for me, and want to give a glorious shout out to Lisa Reed. She was my recovery nurse with an upbeat attitude and made me feel as comfortable as I possibly could be. She is extremely knowledgeable and set the pace for my attitude towards wanting to get healthy. She told me she could make this appointment for this day at 2:05 at this Artistry location. I get here and they tell me that my appointment was set for my regular doctor nearly 30 minutes away. I'm very clearly upset and in pain and this receptionist proceeds to comment "girrrrl, rawr" and ask me if I want an appointment for Monday. After that comment, I shook my head no and proceed to walk out.

She's the best and the entire office staff has been wonderFul all these years. They have two locations actually-this one and Noblesville-although I'd drive an hour to keep going to them. Heck I almost do now. It is very hard to get an appointment with Dr. Ertel so call in there soon. I've also worked with Dr. Adams a couple times who was equally as great. They are rarely late for appointments and although there have been a couple times the doc has had to deliver a baby so my appointment has to get changed, they are always prompt with communication. Lastly-and most important- I mentioned she has delivered two of my babies. They were c-section but she was totally willing for me to try a VBAC after my first c-section with a previous doctor. That was important because I'm plus size and a number of doctors have too many reservations to try. Seriously- go here.

Day of my surgery at St. Vincent Spinal Center with Dr. McCanna…read more Pre-Op in the Spinal Center, at Entrance 8, covered everything well last week and I returned to the same location today. Surgery check-in went quickly and the wait time for my surgical nurse was only 5 minutes. She was very pleasant and reassuring. Everyone I dealt with was so kind and very friendly. The nurses and doctors explained everything before it happened and made the experience less stressful. Unfortunately I had a small issue during surgery requiring my stay to turn into an overnight hospital stay. My hospital nurses were nice but a little overprotective, rules...they had to follow. My stay was uneventful and I was released the following evening which went smoothly and fairly quickly. I highly recommend the Pre-Op team at St. Vincent. The Pre-Op visit, labs taken care of, and knowing exactly where I needed to go day of surgery certainly relieved some of the anxiety.

Upon arriving at the office space, the building is clean and spacious. The front desk personnel are incredibly inviting and pleasant. You are directed on where to go, and you don't feel like you're a bother to the staff; they make you feel like you belong there. I never wait more than a few minutes for any of my appointments. I know that they are swamped, but they are always quick to get you back into the room. The ancillary staff treat you extremely nicely, especially Andrea! They make sure to remember things about you, and it feels very comfortable to be in the office. They do a great job with the before-and-after aspects of the visit, as well as addressing any needs that arise during the visit, including any wraps or other items that require attention. They are also great at getting paperwork back quickly, which makes it much easier when coordinating care with your work. Now, onto the man himself, Dr. Hoffman. I cannot recommend this provider more! He is empathetic; he listens to you in the office, takes the time to answer all your questions, and does so using words that are easy to understand. I did need surgical intervention, and I was so happy that Dr. Hoffman was the one performing my surgery. He was timely with my surgery, and my husband was pleased with the report he received at the end of the surgery. We were provided with all the necessary information to ensure a smooth recovery at home. My experiences after surgery were phenomenal. I really had little pain with my 2-hour surgery. Dr. Hoffman was able to place a block, and it held for much longer than expected, which greatly aided my healing. He made sure I was coming in regularly to the office and listened to every one of my questions. He really took the time to ensure that I was comfortable with my care and was encouraging about my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman for all your podiatry needs, and I will continue to work with him, as there is another foot still in need of care.
