The staff said that they had run out of food which was sup rising given the time of day. The food didn't seem like good value either, £1.50-ish for a cheese roll, not even a big roll but one which was no bigger than your average sandwich roll. You can sit in and eat which is something I like but didn't take advantage of as I didn't end up buying anything but it is worth keeping in mind if you're in the area and want to meet a friend for lunch or a catch up cuppa. Parking is available opposite the store in the street making it easy to access.

Now they have expanded into serving delicious take out foods such as falafel, salads, fries, and different delicious sandwiches. They have the best, baguettes, bread, coconut puffs, cinnamon buns. Unfortunately I didn't make the reservation myself (relied on family in London to make it) so we didn't get booked for the afternoon tea service as I'd hoped and just had a reserved table instead. Still, I indulged in some scones with cream and strawberry jam, paired with a strong cup of decaf English breakfast tea. The staff is very friendly and took the time to explain the drink and pastry options to us. I hope I get a chance to visit again for the full tea service before the end of my trip!
