This is definitely one of the best "sweet" places to go! If you want to try one of the best cookie doughs or ice creams you should go

It cost £8 but it was worth it (minus the sugar rush) I noticed another table who got a fondue with strawberries and that looked amazing, for sure a place to go in harrow and it is a place to visit for sure, also go after 6pm as harrows parking is free then ;)

The display of chocolate out the front, mouth watering, chocolatey goodness! Went in with my friend, inside it is decorated very appropriately, with tables and chairs looking like milk chocolate colours and shades. This place looked like a chocolate factory made into a cafe! Perfect! The service, just as smooth as their chocolate. I walked in, the man instantly addressed me with "Good Evening sir, how are you today?" I replied in kind with a "I like the enthusiasm, trying to make me buy something huh" which we both laughed at. I did proceed to buy a few things, but damn this place was so cool, I will for sure be revisiting. If you look at the pictures I am about to post up, you will see why! The only reason I 4 starred is because it was late and there was no atmosphere, which I would like to see what that is like in there. Not bad consdering this place jas only been open for 5 days!

There is a great range of things to eat such as Cakes, Waffles, Lollipops, Ice Cream (Many flavours). They even have a Red Velvet page!! Even if you want to go for a sweet tea party. They serve tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milkshake (Not normally in a tea party but they are there!) I would highly recommend the staff is friendly and the place is small but not a great bother. The seating is booths which make your experience comfy. I'll be there probably every day now!

We made a booking online, and when we arrived we stood at the door for about 5 minutes before anyone even said anything to us. During this time we watched a struggling new employee being belittled by their trainer. Once someone finally talked to us, they proceeded to tell us that we didn't have a booking because we booked online rather than calling. They then blamed the owner for not calling them and telling them that people booked online. Another couple walked in after us and were given the same speech. After that they did not speak to us again, so we left and will not be returning.

One side of Twist look like an American Diner, with the display of different coloured ice creams. The other side, which is the seating area has a Kenyan look with beiges and brown as it's colour scheme. We ordered a cassava dish, which had a brown sweet kinda of taste with red and green peppers, this dish was tasty plus we ordered cassava chips which was also tasty and had the same sauce as the cassava dish. We ordered their desserts which they are known for, my friend said that the food snacks are new thing they have introduced. I ordered their Apple crumble ice cream on a crepe, unfornataly this dessert was not great because the crepe was more like a pancake and the quality of the apple crumble was poor. The prices are reasonable, my friend felt the food snack prices were too much for what they were offering...it was around £6. After we paid, Twist managed to redeem themselves because their Nutella ice cream which we were allowed to taste before we tried, was absolutely A-MA-ZING!!! I has to buy a scoop! The manager also said to me a lot of their customer like the their crepes in a pancake style so when I come here next time I should just tell them I would like it thin. Twist is In North Harrow, the area itself is nothing to write home about but for the sake of some delicious ice cream I can see myself attending Twist again.

It was just a bit odd that the drinks came seperately and took a bit of time in between. To be fair; it was a bit busy and the girls were running around. So kudos to them. Also the fact that everything seems to be eggless! which is great! Anyway a good quick go to. Would I crave it.. not necessarily but it does the job.

Service person (Souhaya) had a scowl on her face; it was not that busy. Unfortunately, tipping here was automatic at 12.5%. I would not have tipped her....she will have a bigger scowl on her face...hahahaha. Anyhow, the ambiance is very American; a diner complete with a car banquette seating. Bbq chicken wings were really good and flavorful. Burger sucked and not worth its £6 price. Halloumi cheese was mediocre not worth £5 for 3 small rectangular pieces. I would come back for the bbq wings.

The place looked very promising but failed to deliver on so many levels... First - the wait staff…read more There is a service charge tacked onto your bill automatically, but you still have to order yourself online (the ordering process is a bit tedious - with a sometimes failing web form ) Then you need to walk to the counter and pay there, as there is no way to pay for your meal online either (or - as would be expected - pay for it AFTER you finished it). The place does not accept American Express. But then, the food is also rather lackluster. With lemonade being sickeningly sweet and having an odd, chemical flavor. The Budweiser Prohibition Brew we ordered was replaced with Budweiser Zero - a much poorer alternative. The food is edible and we did not get sick after eating it, but it is on the more expensive side, given the quality. In particular, everything was very greasy - which is not always a bad thing with a diner, but here it was not great. My steak - ordered medium-rare, came medium/well-done which I had to ask to be replaced. It did get replaced with a (nearly) properly cooked (more solidly medium, not rarer) one. I wish it was 14 oz ribeye I paid for, not a thin 8 oz, though. The meat was tasty, a bit lacking the flavor, and the bone was large - not worth the price. The fries were good. The place is halal certified. So the bacon you will get is chicken-based. The environment is very "movie 1950s" - unlike the true diners, but also lacking the atmosphere of the 50s. It would be very enjoyable for its ambiance, if not for the fact, that the place is filled with families with young kids, and as such gets kindergarten loud at times. I had high hopes, but I did not get a satisfactory meal. I did not have a great experience, and I did not get a bargain. On the other hand, it was not dreadful and perhaps I would come back again, with friends, later in the evening, as I enjoyed the tacky decor. If only they served beer or wine to go with the meal...

A gem for cheap East/South East Asian food if you live nearby…read more Been here on numerous occasions for lunch on weekends. Parking is tricky but if you need to grab something from Homebase next door you can park as long as you like for free. Being vegetarians there were enough veggie options for starters and mains. We normally skip starters as the portions for the mains are generous. The service is generally quick and staff are friendly. Our top recommendation is the Wonderful Laksa - you'll need a cold drink, tissue and regular breaks but so worth it! Being Malaysian this is quite similar to the laksa you find at hawkers on the street - pretty authentic. At £6 for the veggie version it won't break the bank either. Another recommendation is the kuey teow (flat stir fried hor fun noodles) The pad Thai and Tom Yam are alright. Definitely try out the weird and wonderful drinks at the fridge (assam milk tea, coconut water with black sesame, malted soya milk) Never tried the pastry so can't comment.
