There's many kinds of vintage alphabets, many stitched by children as a learning tool in the late 1800s. They're usually more than $150 depending on the quality. This weekend I was back at the willows and what did I find.... The cutest cross stiched alphabet! Not the 19th century antique I was expecting, but a near perfect condition, hand made, alphabet with a cute custom red frame. And the best part? $35! On this trip I also found vintage Apple plates and a hobnail milk glass box. All amazing prices! Some visits are better than others, but The Willows is always worth coming to.

Signage is easy to read from the road and plants of parking. Building has two entrances one for the antiques and the other for a pawn shop. This place is huge and being that I was on a mission, looking for a hand bell for a friend who often says "where's my shame bell?" Decided what better place to look for one. To tackle the size of this place I did all the booths to my left in the room then those to my right. There are four LARGE rooms with multiple booths to look through. Each booth has a number and a few had 20-50% off depending on the booth where others had no discounts. I found multiple hand bells with two that I looked at seriously, one was $8 the other in a locked cabinet for $36. I went with the smaller one since it met me needs and pocketbook. Well worth coming to check out if you're looking for a day trip on a rainy day or looking for something in particular, I recommend stopping in.
