I was coerced & lied to when I got my LED gold device from them. They told me the device was $7,153 & that it would require 2 years to pay off. That was a lie. I now owe 12,539 & it will take me 4 years to pay off. They misled me & forced me while getting their device. This is legal manipulation. I never got the physical contract, & my email was entered incorrectly on purpose so I wouldn't see the fine print... this was apart of there predatory tactic. No one in their right mind would agree to this. They are violating consumers rights. I hope they are penalized for what they did & are doing to several people. I confronted them face to face & they attempted to gaslight me & lie to me. The cashier said the manager wasn't there & then the manager walks right out of some room. I confronted the so called manager & he attempts to gaslight me. They never answer the phone. It's unbelievable how they are still in business & are ruining people's lives. they are notorious criminals. read more

Very pushy sales people. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Ended up spending way too much time in the store cause every time I tried to leave they came up with a new tactic to make me stay. Stay away from them, you'll regret ever setting foot in that store. read more

Avoid this store at all costs. I just walked by the store, and like all the other people leaving reviews, stopped by the sales associate to try a moisturizer sample. I naively said yes, and she started to convince me to buy all these products. This includes the deep peeling cleanser, which were too expensive for me. I politely declined, and she said the specialist (Daniel) offers to do a skin analysis test, and I agreed. After doing the skin analysis test, Daniel kept on pushing me to buy the light therapy facial treatment. I kept on saying no I cannot afford it because I am a student. He started to guilt trip me saying, "I was so excited to offer you this amazing deal but you don't seem interested at all." I wanted to leave, and he pushed me to buy their own skin care kit, which was on sale. At this point, I was curious about the skin peeling cleanser they tried on me, and I bought the skin care kit. I was not aware that they were more than $400 (!!) altogether even after the discount. I felt uncomfortable during my time at this store. Do yourself a favour and do not engage with them when they offer you a sample read more

Worst store ever! I was walking by and the sales associate offered me a sample. He then invited me in to see something. He showed me their exfoliator and did a demo on my hand. The product "picked up" tons of "dead skin". At first I was shocked and as I was sitting there I began to wonder, "is the product creating a chemical reaction that makes it bead and appear like I had all this dead skin sitting on my hand?" But I was too polite to say that. The associates are really good at making sales and they use aggressive sales tactics. As a result, I decided to purchase the product against my gut with the thought that I could return it if unused at another location. When I got to my car, I googled the company and found out the $190 product I just bought doesn't work and it creates what the associates refer to as dead skin as you blend the product. In fact, the so called dead skin is a chemical reaction and feels almost like glue (It's definitely not skin). I tested it at home. I cleaned a part of a table and my hands used the product and it beaded. Then I did it again on the same surface and it created the same effect. What a disappointment. While in my car I googled the return policy and to my surprise, they do not offer any returns. I even saw reviews where people said it made their skin have red patches all over it. Interesting fact: the sales associate had red patches all over his face and he said he uses the product. I felt totally ripped off and was disappointed I couldn't return it minutes later. I will never shop here again. What a rip off. :( read more

yes, some people will say they are pushy with their products but at the end of the day... you have the option to say no. I said yes to many of the products Jesse recommended from the cleansing duo to the bee venom, cream, scrub, eye cream and eye serum. But most importantly, I said yes to the perfectio Sapphire machine. It's quite a big chunk of money to spend at the very beginning, but it's an investment on your skin. I've been using the products daily just like it was recommended and I see a huge improvement on my skin's smoothness. Everything takes time, it's not magic, but when I can feel the difference on my skin everyday I know I made the right choice. read more

The sales reps are pushy. Don't spend your money on their products because they're being pushy with you - just say no. If their products really did what they claimed, they'd actually have customers in their store and they wouldn't need to be so pushy in the first place. One of the sales reps caught me by offering a free sample outside the store. He then told me to come into the store and he could give me a few more samples. I figured I'd see what kind of products they had, but upon walking in I realized that was mistake. There wasn't one person in the store and I could tell by the set-up that the products were likely astronomically expensive. I didn't want to be rude and walk out, so I let the guy give me a sample of what was some kind of scrub to remove dead skin and a moisturizer. He said something to suggest that I had blackheads (great sales tactic dude) and then told me the products cost about $178+. I said I'm not interested in spending that much money on products at the moment, thanks. At that point he asked why I was hesitant. I told him that I do purchase high-end products at stores like Sephora, but that I always try a mini size or a least a few samples before I spend even close to what their products cost. He then told me to wait a moment and he'd see if he could do something for me... he left for a minute to check something on the store computer and came back to ask if I could choose one of the products, which would I choose. I said neither, I already told him I wasn't interested in making a purchase. I think he was about to try and cut me some kind of deal, which tells me that the company isn't doing well. I then said thanks for sample, but I'm not buying anything today because I would never buy a product for that much money without trying it for a while first. After I left, I checked the ingredients on the initial sample he gave me. The product is far from clean and they shouldn't be selling it for anywhere near that price point. Some drug store products have better ingredients. Save your money and take a pass on this place. read more

Oh man, I have A LOT to say about this store. First off, the sales people are so damn rude. I'm very conscious of people subtly insulting me, and that is exactly what they do. And if you resist, they only get more aggressive. So let's start with the fact that I regularly visit my dermatologist, and have done EXTENSIVE research on skincare and the science behind it. I know damn well what works and what doesn't, especially for me. That's why I have "flawless skin" (I'm quoting my dermatologist, my mother, and random people on the streets). The sales person disagreed. "You have blackheads on your nose, which could easily be fixed with vitamin C, which our cleanser has." Oh really? I have blackheads on my nose? Really? But being the science nerd i am, I just rebutted with, "How is the vitamin C stabilized?" (because vitamin C could become useless very easily, esp with time passing and crappy packaging & care). The sales rep didn't really know what to say, so she got really aggressive. "Why don't you want to buy the product? Are you afraid?" "I already have a prescribed cleanser by a professional," I responded. After fighting me more on the matter, she just blurted, "It'll help your skin like it helped mine." I had to, with every fibre of my being, stop myself from saying, "You have acne, whereas I dont. Tell me again how this product will help?" But alas, I dragged myself out of there after politely declining to purchase their 100$+ cleanser. Okay, point is, the sale people are terrible, the products can EASILY be replaced by better options (examples: the peel, Japan and Korea have TONS of brands that sell and make effective peels. Moisturizers, come on, there are so many great and inexpensive moisturizers out there. Just look for hyaluronic acid, ceramides, etc in the ingredient list. Cleansers should be low pH, and preferably sulfate free so your face doesn't dry out.) And from other reviews I've seen, the products Orogold sell don't even do what they claim. And you CANNOT get a refund, despite them repeatedly telling you so in their sales pitch. If you have a skin concern, seriously consider visiting a dermatologist. You'll end up saving money. read more

I fell into the trap of taking a free sample of moisturizers when walking past this business... Don't make the same mistake! I repeat, don't make the same mistake! You'll be lead into the store and probably end up staying there for at least 20-30 minutes. Just say no thank you and leave. While the sales associate was very kind, I felt like I was being put under a lot of pressure to buy the products she was presenting to me, which were quite overpriced. However, I am aware that she was just doing her job, but it just seemed a bit overly done which turned me off. Another aspect about this place that I did not like was the fact that the prices of the products kept lowering every time I rejected to purchase them. So that was very sketchy for a place trying to come off as a high end skin care store. For example, when I rejected an $80 cream, the associate went into the back for literally 10 seconds only to come out and tell me that her manager said I could have it for the bargain price of $50. She then asked me how I would like to pay, but I never even agreed to buy the products... As for the products themselves, the cream that the associate used on my hand did in fact moisturize it nicely, but then again so do many other products, and for a much more reasonable price. She also did a short demo by scrubbing my hands to show me how dirty they were. Pretty sure it was just a chemical reaction of some sort to make it appear that my hands were more dirty than they actually were. Fortunately I didn't end up buying the products, I didn't want to make any rash decisions, so I did a bit of research on the products to get a sense if they are worth their high prices. Most of the reviews claim that the products were overpriced and mediocre at best. As well, some even claim that it irritated their skin and caused redness, and when they attempted to return them, were not allowed to do so and were given a very difficult time. Take this as a warning, always do some research before purchasing a product so pricey. Although the sales tactics used can put you under a lot of pressure to buy their products, again, the associates are just doing their jobs. And remember, it's YOUR money, and no one is forcing you to buy anything. read more

They also have a store downtown in Holt Renfrew. And it has become the reason I avoid going to the Rexall in Holt Renfrew because I have to pass this store to get to Rexall. The sales reps are always standing at the door trying to get your attention in a lame way. Once you pay attention to them they will do every thing they can to get you into the store and sit down. At first they will say they are only going to give you some samples to try and that's it. But eventually you will end up sitting there for at least fifteen minutes. The sales put some exfoliating serum on my hand and scrubbed hell tons of "dead skins" out of it, claiming that's their exfoliator doing the job. Man if you ever took some chemistry courses in college you will know that's just some chemical reaction happening on you hand. And then she put some moisturizer on both of my hand to compare the results on exfoliated and unexforliated hand. It seems like the exfoliated hand absorbs the cream pretty well and the unexfoliated one never absorbs, but it's probably just some solvent in the previous exfoliator doing the job. In a word, scam. I am just wondering why people are still being fooled by this kind of company??? read more

DONT TAKE THEIR SAMPLES. Once you take it, they will drag u into the stores, and NOT let u leave. They use very aggressive and annoying tactics. The saleswoman pretending to be ur friend, in fact we just met each other. She kept on giving me different products to try to prove that how bad my skin is, and trying to make me feel bad if I dont buy any. In the end I said no. She just kept on asking why? Is it the price? I can give you a 50% off. I still said no. She asked the manager to come out, and he offered me an employee price, which is ONLY $5 off. I just dont get it, how can they just keep on randomly reducing the price? When I tried to leave after listening to their 20 minutes of bullshit, the saleswoman suddenly changed her tactics. This time she asked if I want to buy a gift for my mother. and its a nail polisher that costs $30, and now is $15 (50% off). I rejected her offer and say sorry cause I feel bad that she tried to make me buy sth for over 20 minutes. She replied, "What are you sorry for? It's for your own good, not my skin!" What a horrible but valuable experience. I guess I just learnt the skills to keep on talking in networking events. :) read more
