Quality Restoration

Unfortunately, my vacation home in Red Rock Arizona was broken into and severely damaged. Virtually…read moreevery aspect, from carpeting to the kitchen to the bedroom had been torn apart. Additionally, since the back and side doors were left wide open a variety of animals had wandered in and started living and deficating throughout the entire house. My wife and I were stunned by the degree of damage to each and every single room and open space. We began the process of investigating companies that did home restoration and after several interviews hired Quality Restoration. This proved to be the single best decision we made. The owners, Lem and Kristy, are simply outstanding both at what they do for a living as well as trustworthy and honest people. They carefully studied the situation, telling me precisely what had to be done, in what order, and at what cost. Once everything was carefully laid out, they requested very reasonable deposits and began to implement everything from Biohazard cleaning to rebuilding walls that had been knocked down to constructing a new bedroom out of a previously open area. In each case, they provided me with detailed plans laying out what they were going to do during each phase of the overall process as well as numerous before and after photos so I could see what they had done and approve the quality of their work before paying the money owed for that step in the process. Net, it took the better part of four months for them to complete a process that required them to literally rebuild every room in the entire house including the kitchen, all three bedrooms, the dining room and the great room. The house now looks absolutely gorgeous and we are about to put it on the market at, thanks to the fine folks from Quality Restoration, a price that almost 20 percent higher than we paid for it only 2 1/2 years ago. Thank you Lem and Kristy

I called Quality Restoration and they were there so quickly and started immediately to dry up the property, remove all of the kitchen appliances and check the walls. Lem was great in helping me deal with the insurance company that, of course, wanted to downgrade how much they reimbursed me. Quality Restoration then did all the repairs and got things back in shape. They did a great job! Hats off to Lem and his wife Kristi for all their help!

It was after they demolished and tented a large portion of our house including high traffic areas used by our family that the problems started. The problems are entirely communication and management based. Since the mitigation, it's been almost six weeks and we still can't get them to schedule the restoration. They claimed they hadn't been paid for it, but the insurance company sent me the check numbers they issued specifically for it. Just this week when I finally called the home office because the restoration PM was unreachable for nearly two weeks, the PM actually scheduled a visit and said they'd have a drywall team available today. The restoration PM never showed, though, even though I took time off work for the visit, and when I was finally given the regional manager's contact info, the regional manager made the claim that they hadn't been paid (despite the check numbers and the project director saying they had indeed been paid), and he said yesterday was the PM's last day with the company. This is awful. People have it worse of course, but to be stuck in a demolished house with no confidence it will be put together soon by the people contracted to do it isn't fun. Beware.

We had a flood in an apartment we own in Arizona City, AZ. This company did the repairs. For the…read moremost part things went well except for the tile floor. I'm not sure who they used to lay the tile but we have had problems with it ever since. We've had tile in our duplexes for 15+ years with no problems. Our other unit still has no problems. This unit has had problems ever since ATI installed the tile. There were airholes in the grout because it was not installed properly and has been popping tiles ever since. Their cure is to tell us that we have a foundation problem so it's not their fault. Well the other unit on the "same" foundation has not had any problems, just the unit ATI took up and installed the tile. I personally would never use them again. They do not back their work. Get your own subcontractor and then you will have someone to call when things aren't properly installed. Called a flooring person out to fix the work that had been done improperly. The installer informed me that the company had allowed the mortar to dry prior to laying the tile. So when weight was placed on the tile it wasn't strong enough to hold the tiles in place. This was totally their fault and I had to pay out of my money to repair their terrible workmanship. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
