Orkin messed up on my cancellation TWICE!!!. They supposedly "canceled" my service before feb. I got notified today I am now getting serviced . The lack of professionalism from office staff is very condescending and rude. Overall, if you wanna cancel from these guys make sure you get confirmation after cancellation so they don't charge you twice !! Ridiculous! Do not service with Orkin save your money. read more

BEWARE!! I am very disappointed and upset; I am a fairly new widow and have had a broken hip and another surgery recently; a handyman working at my house said, "I think you should have a pest control service, you have 14 wasps nests around your house". I said, "I have a pest control service", but had wondered about the wasps and carried wasp spray outside all the time. I'm angry; since my husband died suddenly, I've had so much to do. I thought that Orkin was a reputable company that would be able to do their job without supervision. Instead, they've taken advantage of me. I'm going to see if there's a state agency that I can report them to. Here I am, an older woman and woman who has major health issues; what a great person to take advantage of. Guys, don't use Orkin with local office as rockledge. I've been trying since September to cancel that service that was suppose to be a one time use and no one ever canceled it. Supposedly they have a contract signed allowing them to do this but I don't remember signing anything and I KNOW i didn't request that. I called them several times and requested this but the guy keeps coming out while I was at work and they keep charging me. I finally talk to a different person who seems like he's from higher up position and can cancel my service but can't take the 75$ off that they are charging me again and has to have the office manager Jeff call me back. They have maxed out my credit card even after multiple requests of canceling. Both receptionist Dawn and Trisha were very monologue and didn't seem like they could give a crap, both said on multiple occasions they would cancel my service and I wouldn't be charged but yet when I spoke with the last gentleman he said he would go ahead and cancel it which tells me those two ladies are NOT doing their jobs and will he cancel it? I have been using them since 2020, I will call them every time I need service because they had did a great job in the past. I don't know what all has changed in the last year but they are awful. Guys it's worse than pulling teeth trying to get this resolved. I would literally compare the frustration to the frustration you get when you're in labor and having contractions. Live in Palma Ceia and hired Orkin for termite prevention/monitoring. A short time after they placed "bait stations" I noticed my gutters overflowing during rains. After some detective work I found that they had driven bait stations through 3 out of 4 underground gutter drain lines totally obstructing them which required a significant repair. In addition, I've subsequently found that they nearly hit 2 irrigation system pipes. Beware, because the stations are driven into the ground blindly and are deep enough to cause major damage to underground systems. read more

My family is dealing with a terrible No See Um issue inside the house. We were trying to contact Orkin for pest control help. In the middle of our discussions Orkin abruptly told us to find someone else to help us after we had been in discussions with them for days about getting help just because we had questions about the service agreement. We contacted Terminix and they showed up the same day we called to help us out in our situation. I don't understand why a company with such a big name like Orkin would treat people like this, but I think everyone should know about our terrible experience. read more

great customer service and answering calls in a timely manner. had such a terrible cockroach infestation in a rental we just moved into and Ryan was sent to take a look. he was so helpful and informative after we dealt with a not-so-great pest control company. he saw how distraught i was about the situation and recommended the best course of action for us. our roach problem is SO much better!! i am an Orkin customer for life after this. it's a little expensive but so worth it. read more

Had orkin out several times due to a roach problem. They no-called no-showed on my tenants twice, so I reported to the manager. The manager was very nice and said he would like to start coming out monthly to work on the roach problem and there would be no more problems with someone not showing up. For the 3rd - time the orkin guy no showed last Saturday and the place still has live roaches around over 3 months of treatment. Horrible customer service, poor ability to fix the issue. read more

Pam and Tom just left my residence and I was blown away by their customer service. They came in and asked me questions and then explain to me what they were looking for and inspected my home. They were very honest and did not try to scam or lock me in a yearly service and for that I am very thankful because it seems like everyone wants to sign you up and lock you into a price. I'm a realtor trying to set up an inspection, so my buyer can obtain an estimate, and Christian, at the call center said, said she can't set it up with me nor would she take the transaction coordinator's info to call and set up the estimate. I told her that, she was going to lose the sale, and she really didn't care. Shame on you Orkin for such terrible customer service! I will now call Terminex! After discussing with a representative about a specific area of concern, a backyard patio, I scheduled a service appointment between 8 and 10 am to look at and possibly do a 1 time treatment of the area. When the rep arrived at 920am (not bad, within the window), he literally demanded that I sign a 1 year service agreement, otherwise he would do nothing. He immediately went to responses such as "I have been doing this for 23 years" and "it is a requirement before I do anything" in an attempt to make me agree to something that I had not originally requested, and had specifically told the phone rep that I did not want. This strong-arm tactic is extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and I will be following up with a BBB complaint as well following this and other review sites. read more

I had someone out to do a termite inspection before I started construction work on my house. As a single woman homeowner, I have encountered my fair share of attempted scamming from various businesses, assuming that I wasn't informed or capable of understanding the issues my home had. The representative from Orkin was extremely condescending, speaking to me like I was a child--making sure he was speaking slowly enough for a woman to understand. He tried to tell me that my house did not need to be tented, just some foam around the doorframes. Turns out, this company lost their chemical license and actually cannot preform tenting at all. So instead of telling me what my house actually needed (tenting), he tried to sell me on some foam treatment at an outrageous price. Avoid this company. read more
