With Covid, prices went up which is expected, but simultaneously they provided less service. I also had a very bad experience with their billing service. Charged me 22% interest for a bill that was, unknown to me, two weeks overdue. Very poor communication with the Odessa office. Worst experience I have ever had with any business. After many years of being a good customer, I was treated like I had been a horrible customer. There are better options. Quality became poor, and value plummeted. Very disappointing, and because of all the hassle over the bill, I terminated their services. They have all the money I paid for many years but have lost all the money they could have made in the future. But they have the relative small amount of outrageous interest they charged me. The first few times they came out with a large pump sprayer, and it did the job. They were very thorough and it helped. However, when they came back afterwards, they came in with a small spray can and it did nothing. They continuously are late, or reschedule me with no notice or phone call. Then the last time they came here, they focused on only a small bathroom and did not go into any other room of the house, and they did nothing outside. read more

I cannot say enough how top notch my experience with Orkin has been! The guys are always very informed and helpful to answer any questions I have about what they're doing with my property, and they schedule your appointments for however often you want so its easy to plan and I always get a call a few days before my appointment so I'm never caught off guard. I have used multiple companies for my pest control over the years and there is by far not one holding a match to the Orkin service I get here. read more

The customer service from the Odessa office is terrible. We signed a contract in April 2013. We asked them to call either my wife's or my cell phone prior to coming so we could open the house and back gate. They never called our cells. They called the house instead so as a result our interior and back yard were never treated. In June of 2014 we notified them by phone to cancel our contract and to not treat our house. In July 2014 we received a bill from them for a treatment we never received. We are now arguing over a bill for a treatment we never received. read more

Terrible Customer Service. Took half day off work to have my house inspected and sprayed. Lady calls me at the end of the "time-frame" that morning to tell me that no one can come until tomorrow and that I'm "sh*t out of luck". Unbelievable that people like Salina still have their job. read more

Been a customer for many years. I have always had exceptional service. Our service tech is very courteous and always on time. Every time I call the office they are also very pleaseant and eager to answer any questions I have. I read some of the other reviews from the past and am curious if they are reviewing the Odessa branch or another one because the Odessa branch is the one I am talking about. I have several neighbors and family members taht have the Orkin service and they all agree with me. I highly recommend Orkin. read more

I felt like this business exhibited very poor customer service, actually non-existent in my opinion. We spotted termites outside our house in New Mexico. According to the website this office is responsible for the area where we live. We called and set up an appointment for Monday morning. No one showed after a day of my wife waiting for them, no phone call either. She called that afternoon and was told that we would be put on the supervisor's list for Tuesday. Again no one came or called. She wasted another day waiting around at the house. She called again, apparently the supervisor can't operate in New Mexico (I feel it is odd that the supervisor is not certified in all pertinent territories) and she would be put on the list for the guy who can operate in New Mexico to call Wednesday. No one came or called. Finally, I called Thursday morning and was told, they only have one guy that can work in New Mexico and he can't get here for at least a couple weeks. Why they didn't say that at the beginning is beyond me. In my opinion, this office has absolutely no control over their people or their schedules. I'm convinced the only way they get any business at all is their name. It doesn't appear to be that hard to get other operators certified in New Mexico so I don't understand why there is only one that can make the two hour trip. Thankfully, another exterminator was able to make it only a day after we called. read more

I called late Friday and understandably, I was told by the "800" number that I would not get a call back until next day (Saturday) / but more than likely Monday. Didn't hear anything by 1 p.m. Monday, so I tried calling again. I talked to the people under the "800" number and after being placed on hold a few times, was apologized for not getting a return call and that the manager would have to call me back because he was out to lunch. Then NOTHING.... here it is the following day, TUESDAY, 12:30 the next day & me having to call the "800" number again. They said they would keep me on the phone and make sure they'd put me through to someone in my area. This guy Tim Gibson was put on and sounded like he was too much of in a hurry for my business, asked me what work I was needing and blurted out that it would cost me $235. As if he REALLY wasn't interested in our business. Needless to say, and in frustration, I called another company. Not only did someone answer right away, she was very professional and friendly and had me set up right away with a tech to visit the next day. Orkin????,.... I thought you had a better reputation. One of your West Texas locations is giving you a bad name. Just sayin,... I won't ever call Orkin, even if I move anywhere else.
