I can not say enough good things about ACR Contracting. ACR Contracting was great to work with…read more They are reliable, honest, and operate with integrity. They went above and beyond helping me with my insurance company and fighting my cause from a wind storm and a tree falling on my roof on March 4, 2023. They relentlessly pursued my insurance company for 7 months, sent my shingles to ITEL, and requested a second adjuster from my insurance company be sent to my house for an inspection and filed a complaint with the Department of Insurance. They took the time to answer any questions I had and provided me with all options available - from repair to replacement, based on the final decision about my claim from the insurance company. ACR Contracting went through a lot with my insurance company, and I know they did a lot more for me than is required from a signed "Business Contract." There are no adequate, eloquent, or appropriate words that could represent, describe, or express the kind of review ACR Contracting deserves or should be advertised and written about in this review because they are a gift, priceless, and truly a blessing. ACR Contracting pursued my insurance company and claim, as if I were family, a friend, and not just a client. Their company is not about big business and money but family, integrity, and justice. These days, you don't find companies that will care enough to put themselves in your shoes and treat your claim as if it were their own. To be a client of ACR Contracting, you are part of a family. Their team did an excellent job on my roof. As soon as they were leaving the driveway, the compliments from my neighbors were already starting to come in. In addition, while getting a new roof, I decided this was a perfect time to replace the gutters and add facia. My home is over 65 years old, so in the future, when I move on to my next home improvement projects, I will definitely be taking advantage of their other quality services like windows and siding. ACR Contracting is celebrating 24 years of exceptional workmanship, quality, professionalism, guarantee, and service, but also is a company of honor, family values, ethics, and heart. As a woman, it can be difficult to find a Company/Contractor you can trust, so I'm very blessed and happy to have found ACR Contracting. I have recommended ACR Contracting to family and friends, and if it were possible, I would tell the world about ACR Contracting. I would never tell my family, friends, or anyone about a company unless I was sure that their results, experience, customer service, and investment would be more than they could hope, possibly imagine, or pray for. They are definitely the BEST.

I've got to give Buxton Roofing an excellent review - I know many people either don't take the time…read more- or else they just get on to review a business when they have a bad experience. Let me tell you - Buxton Roofing deserves your business. I woke up last night, and realized it was because I heard a slow but steady dripping sound. I traced the sound to the wall beside my bedroom door, and as I put my ear to the wall, I got hit with a drop of water. Somehow, there was a leak in my roof (of a 14 year old house) that had soaked the drywall through, enough to cause water to drip into the house. I called Buxton Roofing as soon as I got to work, and they said they'd have a service tech call me within the hour. The call came within 15 mins., and we agreed upon a time for the service call. John was there ahead of schedule. He crawled up in the attic to locate the source of the leak, then was up on the roof fixing it. Total time = 1/2 hour. I can't say they'll always be that fast, but this was my (very appreciated) experience. Two thumbs up. :)

Working with the owner of this business has been an absolute nightmare. My mother hired White…read moreGlove on the advice of a now, questionable neighbor. My mother and I sat in the kitchen of our neighbors' home and listened to John Ernst tell us of how quick and precise his workers were; what a wonderful job he would do. We even wrote down every detail of what he said, and how long, the job would take. Without going into every single, horrible detail, we will report that he did not keep his word AT ALL. A job that he told us (and we wrote down) would take 3 weeks took 3 1/2 months. Beware if you are a single, or widowed woman with no experience in hiring a company for this type of work. I finally decided to do a little investigation and found that this company has a rating of "F" on the Better Business Bureau! Please read what the BBB has written on their website. When we found this out, I called the bank and the BBB to report Mr. Ernst. We were given instructions and told not to give the final payment until instructed to do so by the bank. Mr. Ernst became furious and sent threatening texts, phone calls, and emails (of which I have all copies). "Veronica" from the "Legacy Accounting Dept representing his company" literally tried to trick us into calling her. Instead, we responded via text. She claimed to be trying to collect the last check and would "forward the information to Atty Tom Haskins in Akron to file a Lien on your property if payment is not made this week". Mr. Ernst must have forgotten that he had a conversation with my mom about his girlfriend, Veronica, who worked at Legacy AUTO and would be more than happy to sell her a car! My mother even wrote down her name, Legacy Auto's name, and phone number! Coincidence? You decide. I still have voice mail messages, texts, and emails. When the job was finally completed, we were instructed by the bank, to meet him at the bank, to complete the transaction. Mr. Ernst came crawling in with his tail between his legs and didn't say a word! Does the final product look nice? Yes. His CREW did a decent job. Was it worth it? Absolutely NOT!
