Can you ruin a meatball sub? Yep. 1. Only include two meatballs, cut in half 2. Sub roll wasn't used. Pizza dough was 3. Cheese was so scant had to go to fridge to ADD SOME 4. Sauce was meh read more

Although their pizzas are not truly New York style, it is well done and full of flavors. Toppings were plentiful, and they offer about 10 different types of specialty pizzas. Be sure to try out The Pig, if you're a BBQ fan. Other than pizzas, they offer a wide complementary menu items like calzones/salads to subs and burgers. Staff was friendly and attentive. It can get a bit crowded during peak dining hours, so plan your visit accordingly. read more

This is the best of all OIP locations and has been for many years. Lock Haven used to be a close second, but Mill Hall is the place. I ate here 2 out of 4 nights this week and it was nearly perfect. Great portions, great food and really good service. Thank you for being the one place that hasn't changed in 30 years!! read more

Stopped going here years ago for the exact same reason we decided to eat elsewhere. The absolute nastiest lady taking our order. read more

People in Pennsylvania don't know how good they have it!! I moved from PA to NC and down here restaurants don't know how to cook pizza, and they definitely don't know what a real sub roll is!! I love OIP and every time I visit family I get an Italian sub, and sometimes even bring home a couple sub rolls!! There is nothing more perfect than an OIP sub!! And the pizza is the better than anything I've had down here! read more

Never disappointed when ordering from here!!! Very quick and service and staff are great. Food is amazing

Thought we would give this pizza a try. Got a large Hawaiian with extra ham, bacon and pineapple. Absolutely a soggy nasty mess. Called to complain. They said bring it back and we will put it in the oven for you. Zero customer service! It is too expensive to waste money on subpar food like this. We would have never left this review if they made it right. We went be back. So they get one star read more

Been going here for over 20 years. Whenever we come back to Pennsylvania we like to get a stromboli or a cheese steak from this place with a Pepsi from the soda fountain. The pizza is good also. They do provide a military discount which is much appreciated. Space for large groups in the one part of the building. read more

This place was awful, please don't come here and save yourself. I'm not sure if it's better some other time but my experience was terrible. To start I had high expectation because I personally love OIP and the service was good but right when we got our waters we instantly regretted coming here. Water tasted like what i would imagine a septic tank would taste like. Then We ordered motz sticks which were also terrible and way too salty. That was bearable but the entree was awful. I ordered 2 pieces of buffalo chicken pizza and the crust was terrible and pizza was cold, must've been made a week in advance for me. Then my family got two buffalo chicken subs and the pieces of chicken were quite literally non existent. Not to mention the ones that were there, were straight rocks. We got a whole Hawaiian pizza which i couldn't complain about but all of this for $72 is ridiculous. read more

Service was awful. Was here yesterday and never will return. Waitress took 20 mins to just get our drink orders, didn't bother to come to the table to ask if everything is ok. Terrible service! read more

This place is just delicious every time I order food. Pizza and sandwiches are always made right and taste great. Recently got a pepperoni pizza. Didn't disappoint read more

Original Italian Pizza Pa - Pepperoni pizza - Italian Near Me - Mill Hall, Pennsylvania

Ordered garlic knots and a large pizza 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese for a table of four. The knots were quickly served piping hot and with a large bowl of sauce. A well timed pizza was delivered to the table shortly after the knots were finished. The server even offered fresh plates with the pizza to replace the app plates. Overall the food was good. The service was adequate. The dining room was clean and well kept. You do need to make your payment at the counter not with the server. read more

I'd give them less stars if I could. First of all, they told us that we couldn't have what we wanted on our pizza. Then, some of our food tasted spoiled and we didn't eat it. We mentioned it, and they literally did not care... they didn't offer to remake it, and they still made us pay for it. I wouldn't eat here again if they paid me. read more

I have been there a couple of times and not had good experiences but this time it was better the staff is nice and the stromboli was smaller than I have seen but they had pitchers for drinks which is rare anymore even though lots of ice. I would recommend this one again. read more

I do not recommend stopping by this establishment. We asked for jalapeños on our pizza as one topping and were told that they were only "allowed" to put them on the Tacco pizza. We got fried Zucchi and it tasted dried and possably freezer burnt. Our Hawaiian style pizza tasted spoiled and when we said something about it, our waitress didn't know what to say or do. She said she would be right back so we assumed she went to get the manager but came back and asked if we wanted a box. Overall the food isn't good and management doesn't seem to understand that the customer comes first. read more

Though the food is great the wait for it and poor service you get makes it eh not so much on my list. You will normally wait around 45 minutes or longer for your food which We typically order a sub and fries. we have never gotten a refill of our drink even though the glass is empty unless we ask. And it is rare for them to ask if you would like to take the half sub that you didn't eat home with you unless again you ask for wrap. There are times we have finished eating and have waited again about 15 to 20 minutes for the bill to come to the table. The last time We ate here I actually called friends to see if they thought the service had gotten worse and if my service had compaired to theirs and they said they could agree. They now typically go to the one in Lock Haven if they feel the need to eat at OIP. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Mill Hall - Lock Haven area. read more

This location of this small, regional chain is convenient to my in-law's house and is their go-to place for take-out pizza. Although their pizza is ok, my opinion in this matter is not really fair since we have multiple options near our house for awesome pizza. The item I like best from OIP and the reason I am writing this review is because their meatball parm is Ahhmazing! The put their sandwiches on a unique homemade bread, their sauce is just chunky enough with great onion flavor, and their meatballs have an excellent texture and herby flavor. If you are nearby, check them out. Service, parking, and facilities are average - what you would expect in your average pizza joint. read more

My husband and I are planning on going to this OIP this evening. I will certainly return and post my review. I'm hoping the service has improved. I understand the food is good. So, here's keeping my fingers crossed. :) I only gave this an A-OK rating as I couldn't post without doing so. Maybe it will be better, maybe worse, we'll see!!!! OK, now I'm back. I have some additions to the above review, which was given BEFORE we went to this OIP. Like I mentioned, I gave this an A-OK rating as I couldn't post without a rating. First of all, let me tell you, the staff was very pleasant. The waitress was extremely nice. The food was excellent and arrived in a timely manner. Now I must admit, with this being early (5:30 PM) Friday evening, there were a lot of customers, but the restaurant wasn't "packed'. We thought the service was really good. Prices are excellent, just like all OIP's. The only disadvantage I find with this particular OIP is, they only serve pasta on Wednesday and Saturday evenings (I think), I do know it's only twice a week. Another thing you should consider, there are a large number of restaurants in Mill Hall, and I mean a lot!!! So, I must up my rating for this restaurant. read more

Great food, but terrible service. It's a pizza place and when me and my family went out waitress told us to avoid the pizza as the wait was too long because of take out orders. Not recommended to stay and eat. read more

So I've been giving OIP the benefit of the doubt. I can't believe how rude the woman who rang me up was tonight. All I did was ask if she could fill my iced tea! You would have thought I was asking her to go wash my car! Unbelievable. I'm done with this place. Once and for all! read more

Normally have a very good experience here. However, I made the mistake of coming on a Friday night. Very busy and seemed under staffed so I understand why the Waitress didn't talk much and the service was a little below average. The food is always fresh and served quickly. read more

I grew up in Lock Haven, and this is absolutely my favorite restaurant to eat at when I visit home. It is a must stop and I eat in or take out from OIP about once a day when I'm back in Lock Haven. It is that good. My favorite is the meatball parmigiana sub. Their homemade bread is the best. Their pizza is very good too, with great soft, chewy crust, fresh tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheese. In short, the food is well worth the stop, and their service is good. read more

The food is amazing but the wait is long and all but one waitress is rude. There is one that I will look for and ask which section is hers! Too bad they couldn't improve on the wait time and some new waitress and I bet the place would be back to great read more

Wait staff are excellent! Have been there for years and if I were to base this on them alone this would be a 5 star review. Sadly management has been less than kind in my experience and their quality seems to have taken a turn for the worse. Subs have minimal amounts of cold cuts/hot meat on them and salads are lacking fresh veggies. Bread and pizza is still good and what one would expect. read more

American-Italian food in a relaxed family setting. Decently yummy too! I eat here almost every Friday lunch and the service is fast and efficient, if not touchy-feel. Small pizza, plate of fries, pitcher of soda, all UNDER $10!! Good deal if you ask me! read more

Our family sat in this place for 15 minutes and could not get waited on. We were completely ignored by the waitress' . When we got up and left we were told to "have a nice day". No problem. We're just one family so I guess it doesn't matter to them. They must be busy enough to turn customers away. read more

The food is better than average, but what really makes the meal is the wonderful bread that is baked fresh every day. In my opinion, the quality of a sandwich's bread will make or break the sandwich. The service is average, but not bad. read more

My boyfriend and I love the food here . The chicken finger sub is wonderful !! But the service is not as nice. The waitress staff is unfriendly and very poor. Food I give a 9 out of 10 but service I give a 3 out of 10 . Not expressed!!! read more

I had their pizza today. It was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Doughy, undercooked and a lousy sauce. For some reason the OIP in Avis has really good pizza, Must not be the same receipe. Other great places for pizza is Pizza King and Checkers which has a great atmosphere, serves beer and liquor and a great place to watch sports. Skip the OIP in Mill Hall, really stinks. read more

Very tasty food! I especially like their sauce, I only gave four stars because sometimes the forget the sauce :( Overall the food is all excellent, but I can't can't really vouch for the service because I always get mine to go. read more

The food was always great, and the bread incredibly awesome, but not worth it for the awful service we received the last time we were in... very sad since it used to be one of our favorite places to eat and now don't even give it a second thought... If your drinks are free refills, you shouldn't have to wait a half hour for the waitress to get off of the telephone with her friend to come refill the drink!!!!! Got up and was going to refill my own in the adjacent room, since the waitress had been ignoring my empty glass at the edge of the table for so long, and was yelled at!!! Next time i suppose I will have to walk across the dining room, up to the counter, and take the phone from her so that she will get me a drink... oh wait, there won't be a next time! read more

After waiting 20 minutes with a family of 5 the only service we got was menus. Family members of the Lock Haven Baseball team was ashamed of the service that we received and apologized after watching others who entered 15 minutes after us were receiving drinks. Even our drink orders weren't taken. Unfortunately my family and I won't be back. read more

My family and I went there last night for dinner. I order a steak salad, well I didn't know what all was in it. Well it came out with stuff in it I don't eat. I told the server that I couldn't eat it because of the stuff in it. She said "Oh there's not that much of it in there you can just pick it out". Then walked away. Everyone knows even if you take the stuff out the taste is still there. She didn't charge me because I didn't eat it even tho she never did anything about it. When I went up to pay the owner checked me out and asked me how my meal was, I said I don't know I didn't get a chance to eat it. As soon as I said anything the server was right there to say that she didn't charge me. The owner looked on the bill and I wasn't charged so that's all he was concerned about. I even tried to tell him that she refused to take it back, but he didn't listen to anything I had to say at that point. I always thought the customer was right!!! read more

We ordered hoagies from this place 6 months ago..both hoagies had stale rolls and my husband wanted his without lettuce and my daughter without onions.. Both came with everything on it. since we were taking them back to our cabin 25 minutes away we didn't see this until we got back to our cabin to eat them. So we are back in area 3 weeks ago and I told my husband lets try it again so I go in to order them and I order my husbands without lettuce and mine without onions and both Italian hoagies with oil . My husband wanted sweet peppers on his so I told guy 3X sweet peppers and he kept saying green peppers and I said NO..sweet peppers. Needless to say we drive 25 minutes back to our cabin and my husbands has mayonnaise on it and I have NOTHING...so dry plus his has big green peppers..what Italian restaurant doesn't have sweet peppers???? Plus mine had onions on it!! Needless to say we wont be going back again!! read more

The person checking me out asked how my food was and I told him I was a little disappointed in the grilled chicken salad. One of the owners looked up from her paperwork and rudely said "excuse me", I told her the last time I was there that the salad had cheese and fries on it. She stated that it was never included it was always extra so I was wrong. Well I know what I got last time and I didn't get it this time. Let's just say I could have gotten a steak dinner for that price. It was iceburg lettuce, two slices of cucumber, 2 slices of dried out tomato, two olives and a small piece of grilled chicken. It was soaked with water on the bottom from the diced ring peppers they put on it. One of the worst yet most expensive salads I ever had. If she didn't want to know "how it was" then why ask me?
