My dog Graham was in need of a groom and I wanted to try out this location after seeing the rave reviews! He's a 9 lb Pomeranian Chihuahua mix. I was lucky I saw an opening two days before booking at 9am right when they open. Kumar asked how I wanted my dog's haircut to be and what my preferences were in terms of how short to cut. I showed a reference photo from past groom visits from another location. He explained there is a regular cut which is all around the same length and appearance, while the reference photo was more of a feathering cut. The feathering cut is more of a trim which keeps his hair longer to maintain the fluffy Pomeranian look. Each area of my dog can be trimmed differently based on my preference, such as tail length, ear area, his chest mane, etc. I also made note that my dog takes a minute or so to warm up since he's usually anxious outside of his carrier and likes to bark (small dog things, lol). There are other groomers at this location as well and a big private lot for parking, which is convenient. I paid in cash, and I think there is a discount vs using card if I remember correctly. Forgot to take a photo of the pricing inside. Kumar texted me 30 min before Graham was ready for pickup. I saw him amongst the other dogs that were inside, all looking so cute and fluffy! Graham looks so clean and smells amazing! Kumar also provided a toothbrush for us to use. He recommended a toothpaste brand as well. So happy we found a new grooming spot! We will definitely return and recommend them to others!
Let's do the positives first: Kumar was clearly knowledgeable and very friendly, with fair prices. I paid about $110 for my 35-pound mini bernedoodle to get nails clipped, washed, haircut, the whole shebang. Something interesting about Kumar is that he doesn't take tips, so that takes tipping pressure off of the customer. However, I'm not sure if I'll be going back. Three things I was displeased with are: 1. He cut my dog's whiskers, something a groomer is not supposed to do. It's not terrible for a dog's whiskers to be cut, but it's also not great for them either. 2. He told me with the short length of cut he'd given my dog, that there was no need to brush my dog's hair for at least a month. I should not have blindly accepted this, as it turned out that after about three weeks, my dog's hair was matting. 3. The haircut was uneven. When I looked my dog in the face the day of his haircut, one side of the hair on his snout was noticeably longer than the other.
Kumar always does such a great job with Potato and Popcorn, they love to get their haircut! We plan to stay with Kumar forever to groom our dogs, great price and super friendly! Highly recommend Kumar and his grooming services!
My 60 lbs doodle, Onyx, was previously groomed by Kumar and now by Daniel at Original Grooming. Every experience with Kumar and Daniel have been great! I've followed Kumar from Petsmart to Blue Moon to now his own shop at OG and he's been a very pleasant, and professional groomer through the years. He has groomed my tiny little 11 lbs shih tzu and my 60 lbs goldendoodle! Kumar's schedule is very busy and it can be hard to book an appointment with him especially last minute. He referred me to Daniel who apprenticed under him at OG. Ever since then, I've taken Onyx to Daniel "Apex Grooming" and I'm able to usually get an appointment the same week or the next. Daniel is very kind, patient, flexible, and professional. He texts to give me a 15 minute heads up and even when I've been unable to pick onyx up right away, Onyx is allowed to stay and play with the other dogs. Daniel takes instructions well and makes sure you are satisfied with every element of your dogs haircut: head, ears, tail, nails, etc. I highly recommend coming to OG, and getting your dogs groomed by either Kumar or Daniel!

I recommend Gary (Pet Pet Grooming) and my dog has received so many compliments on her haircut! Original Grooming is a great space. You can leave your pup in confidence that it'll be well cared for.
We got the recommendation to take out very first puppy to Kumar by a family member who had been taking their two dogs to him for a few years. I am so glad we took their suggestion. His website is super clean and user friendly for making appts. He is super clear with his explanations and choices for hair cuts etc. My favorite thing about Kumar is that he truly loves the dogs! I came early once and Quinn was not yet finished so I hung out for a minute- he is sooo kind and patient and gentle! He had other dogs playing around his feet and you could just tell he was so happy! And the dogs too. I feel comfortable leaving my dog with him and I know she'll come out looking and smelling so fresh! Pro tip- make appts in advance- he does book out! Parking is easy, fair prices.
Our dog was a rescue from a shelter in China, and when she came to us, we had no idea what her history was. It was important to us that we find a groomer who would be sensitive to that. Kumar is seriously great. I just bring in a photo, and he does a great job making my pup look her best. He is always super nice & goes out of his way to make our pup happy.
Kumar Rane is great! Our labradoodle Dobby has come twice now to get a haircut by Kumar, and he looks great every time! Kumar is a super popular groomer, so it's best to book well in advance (especially if you want a weekend slot). I really appreciate that he texts you right away as soon as your dog is ready to go, but that if you can't go pick up right away, it's okay! It's a rather large space inside, so the dogs can be out and not crated also. I've taken my pup to other groomers before where they've held him for 4+ hours! These other groomers sometimes book too many dogs at a time I have not had that issue with Kumar. FYI he doesn't accept tip, so it's just always a flat fee. (So if you think the price is high, you might wanna first take that into consideration!)
3-4 months ago i was looking for a grooming dog service on Yelp, i found out that Original Grooming was fully booked. Finally got a shot today, my experience was amazing. Kumar explained everything we needed to know about my puppy. How it done how he gonna do it. After 2-3 hours, It's totally worth it. My Toppy looks clean cute and exactly the way I like. He also gave us free toothbrushes for Toppy. It was amazing experience i've ever had with pet groomer. Highly recommended this grooming service. And 5 stars for Kumar.
Kumar is the best!!! He loves the dogs and the dogs love him. He will text you right when your dog is done with the grooming session. The dogs are allowed to walk around the gated area and aren't in pens when you come pick them up. We've had our Maltipoo groomed by him for several years and he always looks perfect! Kumar makes the face into a puppy cut and shorter body cut. There is a fixed price now for cuts and it is worth every penny. They take all forms of payment but you can use Venmo so that they don't need to pay for credit card fee if you want.
Kumar has been grooming our Yorkie since we got him in 2021 and now is also grooming our Biewer Terrier. He does such a great job, is very professional, and the dogs enjoy going to Original Grooming. Kumar is very patient in explaining things, answering questions, and describing what he will be doing with the dogs' hair. He clearly loves dogs and is very sweet with them. The dogs always come back looking and smelling great, as well as happy.

This place was recommended by my niece who continues to bring her Maltipoo. I believe my puppers Pepper found her one and only favorite groomer Ruby..hands down. She is kind and loveable to Pepper. My first visit She took the time to explain her services and the process for a puppies 1st grooming, what level you would prefer etc..I bring my little furball and she comes out looking and smelling lovely. My 60 lbs doodle, Onyx, was previously groomed by Kumar and now by Daniel at Original Grooming. Every experience with Kumar and Daniel have been great! I've followed Kumar from Petsmart to Blue Moon to now his own shop at OG and he's been a very pleasant, and professional groomer through the years. He has groomed my tiny little 11 lbs shih tzu and my 60 lbs goldendoodle! Kumar's schedule is very busy and it can be hard to book an appointment with him especially last minute. Kumar is absolutely wonderful! We had him groom our shih tzu, Toby yesterday. I don't normally write reviews this soon, but he did such a great job! Toby came back looking exactly as requested, looking adorable and handsome! All of my family was complimenting him on how cute he looked, haha. Upon meeting kumar for the first time, he was very friendly, easy to talk to, and def knew what he was doing. His prices are reasonable as well. We're happy to say that we've found our groomer for toby and would love to have kumar continue grooming him! read more

Such a nice guy and you can tell he loves what he does and really cares about your dog. Shy little Bear warmed right up to him and did so good for his first grooming and it turned out so cute. Nice, big space and he worked really fast but thoroughly. Kumar will be helping us get Bear more accustomed to the dryers and things over time with our grooming and the kennels were so big and close to all of Kumar's work stations that Bear's separation anxiety never started. Great place for pups to learn good experiences for a lifetime of relaxed, efficient grooming. Thanks Kumar for taking my scruffy boy and returning a teddy bear doggy to me right in time for the holiday. I took some extra cards to pass out to friends! read more

Booked an appointment with Gary for my rescue Marley who I only had for a week. He is a Maltese mix and was matted on the sides so I wanted to get him groomed sooner rather than later. Gary warned me the appointment could take longer considering we didn't know my dog's demeanor and grooming experience and after I sent photos, I was told he'd likely need to be shaved down. I wasn't sure what to expect considering I've never had a dog that needed to be groomed (my previous 2 Boston Terriers were maintained at home.) On picking up my pup.. Gary talked me through the process he went through and gave me tips to help him get more comfortable with grooming. Despite needing to be shaved, Gary left Marley's face looking cute and handsome. He even had a Christmas tie on him. Through our conversation I can tell Gary is a very patient guy. I definitely had a great experience with my first grooming for my dog and will seek out Gary soon for Marley's future groom. read more

Kumar was amazing!:) It was my pups first grooming and it went very well! From the moment we walked in I felt very comfortable leaving my babygirl with him to get groomed. He consulted with us about my pups haircut and gave suggestions as well. He said he would call/text us to let us know when he might be done. When we got there I can tell my puppy had a great time with Kumar. The haircut was perfect and she was very clean and looked so cute!:) thank you Kumar and we will be seeing you every 5 weeks! read more

Do you offer cat nail trims? If so, how much do you charge for it?
On the website there is no mention of cat grooming. I would call Kumar and ask.
How much does Kumar charge for a small puppy (<15 lbs) for wash, dry, nails etc)? Website keeps stalling.
He charges me 60 for my 10 lbs. Pomeranian but I'm an old client. You'll be happy with him.
