Freyja has a great experience every time she comes here. She has seen a couple of groomers here and each time they have done a wonderful job. It's hard getting a double coated dog completely dry but somehow they manage it! Oh, and I have to mention they have a color wheel to choose from if you want to add color to an appointment. Having a little bit of color is almost necessary for a white dog who is an escape artist. Been here a few times now and wanted to leave another review since they've been consistently great! My dog used to shake and be nervous all the time going into the groomers, but after we started taking him here, he does shake less! This most recent time we saw Rachael, and Rachael was great! Super kind and my dog looked so good. Also loved that she was able to tell us how my dog did. Really the only bad thing I did experience which I feel I have to disclaim, is that there was only one time we didn't receive the text notification to go pick up our dog and I just went in before closing time. Just wish they called when he was finished too instead of just giving us the 30 mins heads up text so my dog and the staff wasn't just waiting. Other than that though, still highly recommend! I ended up at le Pawsh because I followed our amazing groomer Rachel there. She has been my dog Habib's groomer since he was a pup so we have been with Rachel the last 3.5 years. She was recommend to me by our old trainer and she is amazing. My golden doodle has a very beautiful but thick coat and Rachel does amazing to demat him and also do great chic cuts. I always get a ton of compliments after his groom and have sent many people to Rachel through the years. Le Pawsh is such a cute salon. The great thing is that they do customers grooming one by one, so my pup was out of there in record time and the quality of the shampoo & conditioner and products were amazing and got really down to my pups undercoat and moisturized it. I love coming here. Rachel was my groomer for both of my dogs, Klay and Hunter. Klay is my small Pomeranian chihuahua terrier mix and Hunter is my big German shepherd husky mix. I'm not very trusting with other people with my dogs but Rachel is so sweet and lovely and attentive and I could tell that she cares for my dogs. Klay has a different type of fur and I loved how she shaped him and made him look like a cute little puppy and she handled and explained Hunter's double coat well. Another review but this time, for Gaby! I booked an appointment with Gaby since Sam was on leave during my last appointment and I have to say, all the groomers at Le Pawsh are incredibly talented! I brought my dog in for a full haircut and asked Gaby to keep it a little short but still fluffy. She worked so diligently with my dog, and even though he came in with a few knots, Gaby was able to gently untangle them instead of opting to shave him down, which I really appreciated. My Vet. Recommended Le Pawsh she said "all the groomers are great".They have a super website with short profiles on their groomer/stylists. They're all certified with various experience and backgrounds. I made an appt. with Paulina. She wrote how she espicially enjoys working with senior and special needs dogs. My three year old female Havanese is a nervous fearful Furbaby. I worry everytime I have to find a new groomer for her. Anyway, I met Paulina, she was friendly & sweet and listened to my concerns. We also discussed her coat and style preference. I gave Paulina a picture of Rica to guide her grooming style. We were called to pick her up after a two hour Haircut & Bath appt. That includes a complete makeover. Anyway, Paulina more than met my expectations. Rica looked perfect. Her coat, cut and style was beautiful. Rica looked happy and not fearful when we left. I have been to Le Pawsh many times for both my dogs, so I thought it was about time to write a review! Le Pawsh salon takes very good care of my dogs and offer services such as nail clipping, tooth brushing, and other stuff like CBD treatments for anxious pooches; hair dying, and facials to name a few. They treat my dogs as their own when they are in their care, and I really can see a difference in my dog's coats when they come home. Unlike other facilities, the dogs smell like they got a bath and not like a wet dog. Any of the folks that work at Le Pawsh do a wonderful job, but I want to give a shout out to Rachel, who washed my dog Lady Buttercup this last time. She really bonded with Lady and did a great job with her grooming (Thanks Rachel!!). A couple hours later our guy was ready for pick up. They send you a text 30 mins before which is helpful. We've only owned Min Pins which as you know are short haired and nervous by nature. I was very nervous taking them and worried about their experience. I booked their appts with two different groomers at the same time so they could be groomed together. The booking process was super easy and I was even able to find appts the next day. Great experience here. Our dog loves all of the groomers and they have been very good to him. He can be picky about who touches his feet, and Amber and Samantha have both been really good with cutting his nails. I was totally surprised when they were able to brush his teeth and reported that he seemed to enjoy it! They've also been very good sharing suggestions about his allergies and itchy skin. We've been getting our 2 corgis groomed here for a while now and I'm very satisfied with the services they offer. The scent of the products they use is not as strong as other groomers which I really liked. They also ask for a lot of information about your dog before they take them in which gave me the chance to inform them of some issues with my dogs skin sensitivities or previous grooming encounters. The paw soak worked really well for Kohee and one time we brought her in and I informed them than she has been itching her ear a little. When we picked them up, we were told that her ear looked a little irritated and that we should go to the vet to get it looked at and true enough she was in the early stages of an ear infection. The vet was able to put in the medication right away and the infection cleared a week later. I really appreciate the attention to detail that they demonstrated and that they informed me so I was able to take the necessary next steps to make sure my dog is taken care of. Our other corgi, Tsuki is not the easiest to handle during grooming sessions but they are able to get everything taken care of. She has had a bad experience with a previous groomer and I did inform Le pawsh of this. They were very patient with her and took very good care of her every time. I'm happy to have found a place that I can trust for my dogs grooming. read more

Shelby is the best! Took awhile to find the perfect groomer but so lucky Le Pawsh turned out to be a match!!

Relatively small salon with easy parking and they have one reserved spot in the front for "drop off/pick up." Le Pawsh has their own employees but they also have other groomers not affiliated that rent out the space in the back. Originally, I found out about this place through Kaitlin. Who I assumed was part of Le Pawsh but I just found out she is not part of the team but just rents out a space there. Her soonest availability was 2 weeks out and I needed something sooner and saw that Le Pawsh had an opening for Friday morning and Saturday afternoon. I usually like to bring in both dogs at a time but because I didn't plan their grooming schedule well, I'll take what I can get. We booked with Sam, a lead stylist. Prices vary per stylist. Mochi is a double doodle who weighs 38 lbs. She is shorter than my other doodle and her body is thicker. The style of groom Le Pawsh does is keeping the length of the legs longer than their body. I really had no idea or direction of how I wanted the groom to go in terms of length so I just showed Sam some insta posts from Le Pawsh's Instagram as reference. I like how at other places they have a book or page of the different length so you get an idea of how it will look and feel. They don't have that here so we're referencing strictly photos. My only request is to keep ears short and tail floofy. Which Sam executed well. Mochi has looser curls and the matts brush out easily. I know that her sanitary and back legs were matted. I was charged $175. But because I mentioned my friend who also booked with them a few days prior, they gave $15 off as part of their referral program (both parties get $15 off their groom). So in total $160 not including tip.Katsu on the other hand is a labradoodle. She is tall and thin and weighs 30lbs. She has tighter curls. She was severely matted so I was okay with Sam shaving her completely. They do a good job with the haircut because she was able to keep the hair on her legs longer even though the body had to be shaved. She did tell me her back legs, neck, and other areas were severely matted so I was charged a $20 de-matting fee. Of the 5 years I've had Katsu and all the salons I've taken her to where she was matted, they've never charged a de-matting fee. They've always shaved her because it was probably less painful than trying to brush the matts out. So I guess the extra $20 was to keep her legs and face floofy? I really don't understand their pricing. Because her body did have to get shaved. But I guess if you don't want the "shaved" look, this place does a great job of compromising that or saving what they can. I tried my best to ask questions to clarify pricing but it seems like they just make it up as they go. I understand if there was temperament issues that would make grooming difficult or if they were matted all the way and throughout but when I asked, neither of those issues presented with my dogs. But this salon is in an affluent area of Fremont so I guess they have the audience to price accordingly. I'm just shocked about the $175 price. Even a few other dog moms agree with me. I have a friend who pays that same amount at a different salon for her 50 lb doodle. I guess I'm just not used to paying more than $150. When I asked "what qualified as a "$140 groom" which is the starting price for a lead stylist, Sam told me it would be a dog half of Katsu's size. That would be 15 lbs! I'm surprised they consider 15 lbs as medium as most salons consider medium dogs as "20-25lbs." They said my dogs (30 and 38lbs) were considered medium large. Of the 5 years I've taken them to the groomers (Petco, Petsmart, other grooming salons in the East and South Bay, and at home salons) they've always considered my doodles as medium. They should have weight listed on their website to give a better understanding with pricing. They do give you a quote when you drop off in person but that can still change because they truly won't know until they're actually grooming your dog. It's my fault for not clarifying about the price with my first dog but still shocked that both of them were charged the same. Given the 8lb difference and different coats. Also they didn't have any behavioral issues so I truly think I should have been charged less with my first dog whose coat is much more straight than my second. Anyways tl;dr if you don't mind paying their hefty prices, this salon does a great job with haircuts. read more
