We spent a month in Sweden and Denmark. We ate at all kinds of places both fancy and pretty ordinary. This was by far the worst meal we had on our trip.
Here's the story we're in Göteborg and getting peckish so we go into this huge food hall with all kinds of fishmongers, cheesemongers, butchers, delicatessens and restaurants. It was a cool and rainy day and saw that this restaurant had "Greek soup" as a their lunch special. Sounded great.
The soup had plenty of fish and potatoes in a kind of creamy soup stock. But it was both lukewarm and tasteless. We had to sask for the bread that the menu said came with the soup. I asked the counter lady to please heat my soup. It came back warm but not hot -- and it was still tasteless. We then got some hot sauce and it was slightly better.
My advice: try one of the other tempting restaurants in the food hall. read more
