So I walked around the entire nursery but nothing caught my little eye. Instead, I just admired the flowers but definitely not those price tags! I was a little surprised that I didn't locate any workers, nor did any worker greet me upon arrival. So after I took my own tour of the place - I went on my merry way. Overall, it's a cute aesthetic and the plants appeared to be healthy upon a quick inspection. Yet I know nothing about keeping a plant alive for more than a few days, so what do I know?! I'm not sure why this place only has 3 star rating when it is the cleanest nursery I've ever been to. The people there take exceptional care of the plants and the pricing is fair. This is by far the worse run nursery I have been to. It lacks quality product and most of the plants were plants that you could get anywhere else at a much cheaper price. It is poorly run and barely anyone can speak English. They're more interested in just selling you the plant rather than answering any of your questions. Go somewhere else. This is a great nursery. I was helped by Andres and went on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was organized and clean. I was jazzed because I wanted to buy lemon and lime trees and they had a large selection to pick from. They carry both Meyer and Eureka lemons. In addition they have Mexican lines, calmansi, and Persian limes. I also saw some hybrid trees that had 3 types of citrus on them. Andres was patient and helpful as I browsed around and when I purchased what I wanted he helped me load them up in my car. Overall I highly recommend this nursery and will be back. read more

Came here to check out the oriental trees that we always wanted and some other pine trees as well but when asking the owner about the trees he began yelling and talking to us like we were dumb. I asked about pricing and he didn't know off the top of his head and said we'll look at the container they all have the price there in a loud manner. He is unprofessional to say the least. The reason we are asking questions is because he is the professional not us. I thought about it a million times to come here because of all the bad reviews that were left on here about pricing and the owners attitude but I decided to give it a try and honestly can say I regret wasting my time here. Nice, small and well maintained nursery. They have a good amount of perennials, landscaping plants and fruit trees. Not as many indoor plants. The flowers are pretty affordable, the larger plants can get fairly pricey though. It's a little hard to find, the nursery is visible from the freeway side. read more

DO NOT COME HERE ALONE! I went on a Wednesday and I was the only person there. Two male workers creepily watched me peruse the flowers the entire time until I called them out on it. I felt so uncomfortable and not safe as a woman. Plant selection is only ok. Will not be coming back to this nursery as customer service is terrible. I came here to buy mandarin orange trees and they had them in standard sizes and semi-dwarf sized. The 5 gal trees are 29.99 plus tax. The trees looked healthy and the entire nursery looked very clean and beautiful. Oriental Nursey has a huge variety or fruit trees that you won't see at your local Homedepot or Lowe's. Many of the trees already have fruit on them or are blossoming. I was greeted by a nice Korean lady who directed me to the mandarins trees and a nice man (the owner?) rang me up. My total was 65.23 for 2 trees. (They take credit card!) A worker then helped me load the trees into my car. I will be back for all my my plant and tree buying. No more Homedepot trees that never bare fruit for me. :) I absolutely recommend this nursery! read more

You can almost miss this place unless you drive slow, pay attention and look for the NURSERY sign placed on the sidewalk on Golden Springs. Easily to spot of the 60 fwy going east especially when you're crawling along making the 5:00 drive home. The street they're located on Banning is really difficult to spot. I'd say to stay in the right side lane and start looking after you pass the LA Fitness - that is if you're driving west on Golden Springs from Diamond Bar into Rowland Heights. Okay, just realized I spent time providing directions instead of reviewing. Overall clean and organized. Well stocked with all the different types of plants that you'd want to decorate your backyard or front yard. Pretty good selection as browse the different variety of flowers, shrubs, trees, etc. Prices are pretty good, though the plumeria trees are kinda expensive to me. But I guess I'm expecting Home Depot prices, but the sizes and, I guess, health of the plants appear to be better here. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff here. They'll advise you on what you're looking for and interested in. And, they'll load your plants and place them into your car for you, too. read more

Went there on a Saturday and there were two Mexican guys that were really helpful and nice. They gave me good advices and helped me to transport my orange tree and vegetables to the car. This nursery is huge and has tons of selections. The prices are very reasonable compared to Home Depot and Lowe's. Will def come back here. read more

This nursery is okay. It is more of a commercial nursery for landscapers looking to grab something quickly on their way to a job site. It is very well organized. Easily viewed from the east side of the 60 freeway right before the 57 split in Diamond Bar/Walnut. The Asian fruit tree selection I will admit is very impressive. There is a huge selection of persimmons to choose from. I saw one type of oriental peach tree, and as far as "American favorites" you're not going to find them here. They had a small section of the nursery that was suffering from peach leaf curl, but they had it roped off with caution tape and the trees tagged as such. It's good to see they are taking care of their plants, but I do not like to see a fungus in a nursery at all. They have a very small selection of vegetable garden plants, and none of them are organic. Generally the vegetable plants were from Bonnie, which I'm not looking to support. I prefer to support my small business (local) nurseries. I didn't look much at the flower selection, but from what I did see the plants looked very healthy. They looked healthier than plants you would find at some of the commercial home improvement stores. Lastly, I felt like the prices were a little high on some of the fruit trees compared to other local nurseries I have been to. Flower prices and vegetable plant prices seemed comparable. Overall, if you're looking to start an oriental orchard in your yard this would be the place to go, but this nursery just didn't fit my needs. read more

I was quite pleased with their pricing. They have 6 pack trays of strawberries and vegetables (tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, different pepper varieties, eggplant, leafy greens, etc) for $4 a tray. That's $4 for 6 plants!! They also have single plants for $3; these plants were in bigger containers. I came in looking for strawberries, particularly the Albion variety. They did not carry that variety, but they explained that (from their experience) Albion struggled to survive in our climate/region (at least compared to Eversweet, Chandler, and Sequoia, the varieties that they had in stock that day). I'm glad I learned that because had I not visited this nursery, I was going to buy many Albion strawberry plants for nearly 5 times more. I bought Chandler 6-packs and the last Eversweet single (though I wish they had more). Their selection isn't the widest, but they had what I needed. They also sell many flowers and fruit trees. I also wanted to buy compost, but they did not sell it. read more

Great service and highly knowledgeable!!! Had an issue with my lawn and owner spent a good portion of his time helping me understand the do's and don'ts when it comes to lawn care. He and his staff made sure all my purchases were carefully packed and stored in my SUV. Highly recommended!!! Bought two topiary banzai trees from them. Great price and quality. I would recommend if your looking for hard to find plants and trees.

We have to give a fair rating for this place. It is nice, clean, and organized. The workers may not be that friendly as some may wish. After all, they are the gardeners maintaining the yard. Selling is not their primary role. They do know some about the trees and not necessarily to be the expert. Comparing with those people in the major hardware stores. They are actually better. I went there a few times walking alone by myself and didn't feel anything uncomfortable. I would say don't give ourselves the pressure of not buying it. I didn't buy anything until a few visits after. No one gave me a bad look. I certainly asked some questions as well without any trouble. Another good thing for this place is that the price is mostly clearly labeled. It is difficult to mark the price for the nurseries. Comparing with others, they are doing a very decent job. They have the orange trees which surprised me that most of the nurseries don't sell that anymore. I guess that the city is allowed. They have quite a few tropical fruit trees as well. read more

Greeted by a younger man who walked me through to the trees I was looking for. They have a nice variety of fruit trees and flowering shrubs, everything looked very healthy. Trees had fruit on them and they offer different root-stocks (Dwarf, Semi). Very polite and personable, carried the tree to the register for me and offered a bag to keep the inside of my vehicle clean. One of the other workers carried my purchase and placed it in my vehicle. I will be back for sure when I have more time. Location is easy to miss, its just past the gym but before the corner stores. read more

My husband and I went in to purchase two topiary trees. We were able to look around without any fuss. It seemed as we had the place to ourselves. At the time of purchase the cashier was quite rough with our credit card when running it through the machine. It didn't read the card so we gave him another one. Same problem. My husband suggested he use plastic, which he tried and no luck. Cashier seemed uninterested in the sale, but my husband still insisted in purchasing and asked the cashier to enter the credit card info manually. Purchase went through finally without any problems. If we would of walked away he would of been out of this sale. Plants are nice but customer service sucks. Just be prepared to not hear a thank you or a come again.
