First time visitng this asian market. Lots of variety. Prices appear pretty decent not overly expensive. But just be careful n check what you buy. They are probably busy and im the process of stocking when we were there. I was very excited to find horlicks- asian malted milk drink. Saw two that were not placed where it should Me being overly cautious i checked the expiry date. And it appears it was misplaced as it was expired. Organization of the snacks were pretty neat and tidy. Will be back closer to chinese new year to stock up. I enjoyed perusing. read more

They have chronic issues with their POS system/connection/something. They know it, I know it, but the people in line around me don't know it as I get embarrassed by my card declining over and over (when I have a hundred times the necessary credit available, no question about it). I have had this experience multiple times with each of the three cards I have! And I have called the companies on the phone just to make sure it wasn't a me problem and they confirmed no, it's a problem at the store, a problem they apparently have no interest in fixing. It's humiliating. I really like the selection here but I haven't stopped in for two or three months because I'm afraid it's going to happen to me again and not only does it make you feel ashamed even when you know it's not your fault but then you also can't get your groceries there. read more

This place carries a lot of ingredients you won't find anywhere in Lincoln! It was clean and well stocked.

I consider this to be a smaller version of H Mart. Anything you want produce is on point. Seafood is awesome bakery I highly recommend.

There is SO much here! To be honest I don't know what 70% of it is but they were friendly and had so many options. We were looking for mochiko flour for a Hawaiian recipe and since it's very difficult to find Hawaiian items in Nebraska we came here. Found it right away with a lot of other cool things. read more

I shop in many asian grocery stores. This one is the best. Fresh food is always fresh. Place is clean. Packed food is never expired. Service is super friendly. If you cannot find things... Just ask... They will try to help you as fast as they can (even sometime they are busy as hell) You can find Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Lao, Vietnamese, Korean, and others international products here. Small Asian market but they fit a lot of product into the space they have!! Sometimes it's hard to walk in here but I guess that's half if the adventure of finding amazing goodness! It's mainly on stocking days! They have a good selection of products and unique items and dishes! Much better since they cleaned it up. Can't read part of the packages but that is part of the adventure. And I love it !! This area has a ton of Asian markets in the area and this one is reasonably priced with decent parking. read more

I stop by this little grocery shop after work since I moved to Lincoln, and today I am considering not to go there anymore. Here is my reason why: Firstly, lots of the products are actually expired years ago. Secondly, even though the owner is fairly nice to their customers, their stuff are the rudest assistants I had ever met. Today I was asked about my pine number for a credit card. I was very confused and she just keep asking for my pine number again and again. So I give her other credit card and it took her 5 minutes to find out how to fixed the problem and ran my card. I was standing there like I did something wrong. She almost slapped the recite on my face and asked me to sign it. Folks, I was really tired from work and it was the end of the day. She NEVER SMILES or APOLOGIES or SAY THANK YOU! So, thank you for making someone's day worse! read more

Horrible and rude!! The rudest grocery store you will ever find! I was mortified when I heard the owner told a Caucasian gentleman, who was holding a jar in his hand, that, "No, you American, you don't eat that. Only Chinese eat that. I don't sell that to American. No time to explain. Not selling to you." Really?? Our credit card number was stolen twice after using it there (we only use it for grocery shopping, and stopped going after that). The owner constantly make up lies about her competitions. She was rude and snappy when she found out I shopped at other Asian markets. Oh, and expired products. One vegetarian ham expired in 2013, and when I saw that as I was checking out, not only she said nothing, she was upset I would not take it!! Ridiculous! read more

Another great place in Lincoln that I miss. Not only could I get my usual Asian foods there, and try out new ones from India and Southeast Asia, but the owners were always willing to chat with me, answer questions, offer suggestions. They helped me prepare my own dish of "properly prepared" edamame that I ever ate. And guess what - I'll never eat it again. :D It's fun to try new things, but don't expect to like them all. read more

This is my favorite place to get my Asian groceries! They have one side that has a bunch of Asian sweets and snacks, and another side with frozen stuff and produce. The quality of the produce is pretty on par with most Asian groceries, so don't expect super nice, organic produce like you'd get from a big chain grocery store, but you will still be getting some cheap produce that is still reasonably fresh. The prices are pretty good, and they have a pretty large selection, from Korean to Chinese to Vietnamese. My only complain is that they don't have any fruits, which is a shame because Asian fruits are soooo good! read more

Pretty descent selection of Korean groceries in a small store! You can get most of the basic groceries to make Korean food and everything is within a good price range. However, the store is pretty disorganized and there is some sort of odor that hits your nostrils even before walking into the door. read more

We had just finished lunch at Banwich Cafe (which by the way is awesome) and this market was a few doors down. Not impressed. Very limited stuff. The Kankung we bought was a ripoff as when we got home we found stalks with no leaves, very deceptive, I would have gone back and made a fuss but we live in Kansas. Not very friendly at all. I went on memorial day, hardly anyone around. There are basic necessities but not imrpessive. Have seen better. read more

I have been going to Asian markets for about 21 years now, all over the U.S. From, Tennessee to Florida to North Carolina all total probably 25 different Asian markets. This has to be one of the best I've been to. They sell lots of Japanese products, which is what I purchase most (although not exclusively). A great selection of many different items and great prices to boot. I was having a hard time sticking to my budget in here, since they had so many great products to buy. And the service was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the items they stock. I will be making this store my 2nd home here in Lincoln. I absolutely love it! read more

I originally had a high opinion of this establishment despite its crowded aisles and not-so-fresh aroma because it carried many fine goods from Japan, Korea, Vietnam, China, and surrounding Asian countries, but it was just today that my opinion changed. When I went to purchase what I had selected I waited in a line, basically falling over what they had just lying around in the open. It would have been okay for me, but then the clerk and the customer began chatting in Vietnamese and laughing and joking around. I was in a hurry and it wasn't the most convenient. THEN, another family of customers gathered in the line on the other side after I had been waiting for atleast 4 minutes, and after the person in front of me had finally left the lady with the family preceded to rudely step in front of me and the clerk didn't do a thing about it. Already irritated, I said "Oh, I just have a couple of things." in a friendly intonation, and the lady said to me "No, you have much more than that." It would have been one thing if it was just the rude lady, but the clerk didn't do a thing about it. All in all, although the other Asian markets in close proximity may not supply the goods you are looking for, odds are they will have something similar, and you should in no way support this dirty, rude establishment. My Asian Grocery of choice in Lincoln! Clean, spacious, and great selection of almost all the Asian dry and frozen goods you could think of. Their frozen dumpling selection is awesome. It would be absolutely perfect if they had a dedicated fresh seafood area and more types of vegetables, but this is about as one-stop-shop as you can get for your asian grocery needs. read more

This little Asian grocery was packed with people when I went in the middle of the day. The aisles are stuffed with products and hallways are filled with extra refrigerators and freezers. There are boxes on the floor, but the whole thing has a certain kind of charm. Location could definitely be several sizes bigger (to accommodate what's already there!), but the whole thing has a certain kind of charm. Was able to find everything I needed--even more difficult to locate Japanese and Korean products. Best Asian market I've been to in Lincoln (so far). read more

Extremely rude! All shoppers beware that if you purchase any items from the Oriental Market, you better not try to return any items even if that item has problems. That woman I talked to was unbelievably rude. I spent about $130 there yesterday and I found a food item that had expired 4 months ago. Also, I realized that I was charged $5.69 for an item which was $4.19 when I looked at the store. I was confused how could the exact item be priced differently? So I went back to the store today and as soon as I walked in I ran into a very unpleasant face. The woman started to say 'Hello' to me and then suddenly scowled once she saw my hands holding an item and receipt together. I thought she was rude. I picked other items instead of my expired items and showed her my receipt and asked her to exchange items and the reason why my item was marked up. She said with a sharp voice, "You probably picked a different company product" with a scowl on her face. I said, "No, It was exactly the same one." She said "I don't know then." I said, "Actually I have the box in my car. Do you want me to bring in?" She said, "Okay." .... "Here it is. They are same, aren't they?" I said, and she suddenly raised her voice and said, "See! Look at the expiration dates! They are different! They are from two different companies! We receive Korean stuff form 7 different companies!" I figured out what she meant, but I couldn't get her attitude. I just asked her one simple question and she could explain the reason. There was no reason to yell or to make a scene. When she started yelling at me, all of the shoppers started staring at me. I was very embarrassed and felt humiliated. "Okay. I just wanted to know why. That's it." I really wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I exchanged my expired items for unexpired items and tried to escape from the scene she made as soon as possible. She didn't say anything such as 'thank you' or 'good bye' or whatever. I just wanted to escape from the scene she made, but when I was driving back to home I felt regret that I didn't comment to her about her rudeness. I recommended this store to many of my friends and whenever I go to the store I usually spend $100 to $150 but she treated me like crap or a cheapskate as a way of hiding her own dishonesty.
