Language barriers meant very little instruction so wouldn't recommend as your first time. And I'm 6ft tall and my feet hung off the bed and sheet wasn't long enough so my feet got a little cold When you walk in they only ask how long and cash or card. They only ask for a signature at the beginning and allow you to add a tip to the receipt afterward (was worried I'd have to run out and get cash). They do watch you write the tip just to say thank you. If you want anything specific you need to request. I let them know I wanted deep tissue but not too hard and pressure was perfect the whole time. There are not a lot of boundaries in this massage meaning it does include the butt in open air. I undressed and started face down. At first the massage started underneath the sheet (no skin contact) but then round two was uncovered and she asked if oil was okay. Then she put the sheet back on and grabbed a hot towel. The massage and wipe down was pretty aggressive but possibly because I asked for firmer. There was privacy while I flipped over and at the end she offered me a water bottle. I left feeling relaxed (she found knots I didn't know I had) and happy to support a local business

A few moments felt good, but asking her to ease up just made her more eager to press harder. then on the way out, I was asked to tip (refused to do it beforehand) and was told $20. I was literally scoffed at for doing 20% of two massages. not sure if it's a front for something else - but if you want an assertive, fart-filled experience, where 20% is never enough, than this is the place for you!!

I've had in getting a Healing Your body Natural treatment without gimmicks. I have had shoulder, back pain radiating down my arm. Keeping me from sleeping. I've been feeling very down. Due to nothing helping me. Have to travel to Kansas, approximately two weeks before Christmas. Upon returning, I noticed I started to feel like I was coming down with a cold or hoping possibly not a flu. I became feverish and tired, also I noticed severe bodyaches and just pure misery that put me in bed throughout the Christmas and New Year's holidays. *** Reason for all this FYI, is because. I sincerely believed that through the conventional methods of medicine including antibiotics I was going to overcome this. Well... Yes, I did get medical consultations. Since I am a nurse of course, I go that route. This lengthy review is due to the fact, that if I can help anyone out there. That happens to see it on Yelp. Or, passes this info to anyone else that may be struggling with an incredible body pain from your neck down all over your joints and you have no clue or your medical Drs. what is going on when you don't have a history of RA or any other inflammatory disease. Please DO take into account this is my testimonial and only mine. This past weekend I was at one of the Hilton hotels in Orlando and Lo and Behold, I was talking to one of the employees, she was very kind and compassionate and listen to my situation. I am so grateful to that young lady that recommended Marisol at Sol Spa. I am a very down to earth person and, she was not sure if I would take to the area where the Spa is located its family owned and operated in a humble yet very welcoming neighborhood. I grew up in Miami in a culture that is very diversified. From Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Brickel Avenue, to the outskirts of Hialeah. Which is a very humble suburb of Miami.(My humble proud beginnings:-) Proud of my heritage and my diversified life. No regrets :-) :-))) back to the spa, when I arrived I waited a bit for Marisol who was treating another customer. I felt very peaceful and in a very Zen like environment if you want to call it that. She took me into the treatment room I explained to her my situation she did not rush me I did not feel under pressure, it was all about me. No Rush or an appointment book full of customers. So I felt like, I was in one of the islands in the Caribbean. She listened to everything I had to say. Used several different types of Ointments and Gel like substances. Left me on a warm treatment table covered me, In a plastic like cover almost like a sleeping bag laying on my back with a mentholated strong gel among other herbs I could smell that smell divine. Unbelievably, she closed the zipper on this device up to my neck with my arms tucked in a sleeping bag like devise. Wow did you start to feel hot. However, I closed my eyes and I could smell the tranquilizing wonderful aroma that made me feel so peaceful of the mantle and all the herbs and suddenly. No longer did I feel heat that was bothersome at the very beginning. I felt a cracking sound in the middle of my back. And, remembered a rear end car accident. I had years ago. Thought OMGGG!! What a relief. ""Now get ready for the mindblower"" Yelpers. I felt like what would be described has being in a cocoon A"Womb" that was out of this world. And, no. I was not served any wine (LOL). The best part of this. Not only the physical healing I was feeling when she came back into the room. And, started to manipulate and massage my body with care, compassion and hands that felt like an experience I cannot explain with just words (lots of words :-) Her charge was a very modest fee. I was very surprised. Due to the fact that so many salons etc. charge mediocre moderate. And, astronomical fees. And from massages, treatments. I have had in cruise ships, Local establishments. I have never had a treatment that can honestly describe to you has eastern medicine combined with Indian medicine of course homeopathic. She also recommended other things that would help my body due to the stress I have been under physically and emotionally. Gave me some samples. Did not try to sell me anything. WOW. That was a shocker, in a very refreshing and good way. I will return to take a very special loved one that needs assistance. Yes, GUILTY AS charged of writing probably the longest review I have written on Yelp. And, will probably never write another one so long. Again, Sincere thanks, to Marisol. And to yelp for opportunity.
