Excellent alterations and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this business. Usually it is a week. read more

Excellent workmanship! Had an alteration made to a vest and looks like it was made that way originally! Plan to use again in the future and would highly recommend! read more

They're incredibly rude, and did not show any interest in a minor alteration taking in a shirt. I was told I must go to the atm across the highway to get $18 before she would even take my shirt lol. I said OK I will take my business where they accept CC or digital payments, and their income is actually claimed to the IRS. What legitimate business is cash only and up front in 2025 read more

Took a gown in to be altered within 5 days. It was completed and fit perfectly. The plan was to cut about a foot off the bottom and to make a key hole back however she found additional fabric inside the dress and did not have to alter the original zipper to a different style. It was a little surprising when I picked it up bc that's what I was preparing for in my mind but it fit and I was happy with it overall. I paid $215 total. read more

I have used this business multiple times over the last 5 years. They have always done exactly what they said they would do and the work was very professional. I am about to take my grand daughters prom dress there in the morning to be altered. They are my "go to" for all alterations! read more

I had a suit lining reattached where it had detached during a recent cleaning and the work was "seamless!" Since I was taking a suit I also took a shirt to have a button replaced (also result of a local cleaners) and the attendant took a little extra time to ensure they could match the button before I left the shirt. Great value and their workspace is clean. I highly recommend. read more

This is a little shop a few stores down from the Starbucks on JFK and McCain. I have had 4 or 5 things done here, and my clothes have been perfect each time. I've had pants hemmed and patched, and nothing has cost over $10 or taken more than 4 days. The owners are really nice too. On another note... it always smells amazing in there... they have great taste in air freshener :-) read more

I love this place -- the owner is so sweet! She does amazing work and always gets things back to me so quickly. And, she's always thoughtful about alterations and sizing. This is my go-to for alterations! read more

I had eight pairs of dress slacks altered here. The work seems perfectly fine; I've had limited experience in tailoring my clothing so I cannot comment on how their work compares either in quality or price ($14/pair) to other tailors. The work was quick (four days). I plan to come back for any future alterations I need. Note that they do not accept cards. You can pay by cash/check when you pick up your altered clothing, however. read more

Oriental Alterations - Storefront - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - North Little Rock, Arkansas

The new owners discriminate against black customers. On yesterday i went in and witnessed one of the workers let a white male customer leave his items for alterations without paying first. I have been going there for years and follow their written policy of paying when dropping off clothes. When i said i was going to pay when i picked them up just like the other customer they said I had to pay and refused to take my dress. I will no longer support this business and urge others to take their business elsewhere. read more

I have used Oriental Alterations for 25 years. Haven't found any place better. They are super nice and do super work. Very reasonably priced and they can mend, repair, or make alterations to just about anything. Usually they ask for a week, but I had a funeral pop up that I needed help with and they got it done within 24 hours. Can't say enough good things about them. read more

Been there two more times to get pants hemmed and each time I received excellent service and it was ready when promised. The only issue I have is the parking. It's tight and hard to get back on JFK especially if you are going south. read more

I've been going here for many years, and always received excellent service. Great tailoring in reasonable time and great prices. Highly recommended! read more

I have had four pair of pants hemmed here, the service and work has been great. I agree with a previous post, parking is tight. But worth the struggle. read more

I have taken over 25 pairs of dress slacks and corduroy jeans to be hemmed. They do professional work and very timely. They altered my daughters prom dress perfectly. Have been using them for years and will continue. Highly recommended. read more

Very good service. All alterations have been ready in a week and have even offered to be faster (haven't needed so don't know how fast they can be at their fastest). A little bit more expensive than other places but I have no complaints at all about their work. I wish they took credit cards. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Language barrier makes it difficult for the owner Tina to understand anything your saying. Pants and jacket were sewed crooked and cuffs were left dangling, seam was sideways. After trying to explain, she had no clue that this was wrong and only asked for money. Stay away from this place. They are absolutely terrible. Horrible service. They don't accept credit cards for a reason....CHARGE BACKS!!!! Because when you realize that you don't like the service you can challenge your credit card, you can't challenge credit and they know that. They also ask when you want your item and no matter what you say they add 5.00 for rush fee. It could be hours, to days or weeks and there is a rush fee. This place should be reported. read more

I am between medium and tall so I often have to buy tall sizes and have them hemmed to my height. These folks do a great job and charge reasonable prices. The orders are always ready when promised, just a few days normally. I highly recommend them. read more

WARNING!!!!! Do not trust these people!!! Apparently under new owners or management I have used this business for over 10 years. Never any problem. I never had any complaints before this one. I took a jacket for sleeve alterations. A tall Asian woman who I had never seen there before , had a scowell on her face and very rudely made me pay upfront. I had never paid for anything prior to completion at any other time. I knew I shouldn't have at the time. Something in my gut was telling me not to do that. however, not having any problem before , I figured it was ok so I wrote them a check for $25. BTW Twice the price of other places. I picked up my jacket a few weeks later , got home , tried it on & realized it was the same length as when I took it to them. We measured at the counter with a ruler 1-1/4"to be altered. Apparently, oriental alterations do not understand U.S. Measurements. If any, they alterded the sleeves 1/4" not 1-1/4". I returned there the very next day for another Asian woman to tell me she would take it up more for another $ 12.50. And she had the audacity to tell me I had to pay up front!!!! SERIOUSLY..... Like I'm stupid enough to do that again????? You didn't do it right the first time & you want to charge me another $12.50 for what you were suppose to do for $25. This is definitely a scam to charge $40 for a $12 job. They better be Legal immigrants because I'm calling th INS! read more
