I walked in and immediately man at the counter said I can't do alterations on that. Then when I showed him what I needed, two very simple elastic alterations, he wanted to charge me $45 to get it done in five days. Not at all friendly or helpful. I definitely will not be coming back! read more

Wonderful alterations. However, when my blazer was returned, there was a spot that was not there before. It took quite a bit of viscous argument and, after they attempted to physically remove me, they slightly rectified the situation. Overall, good work, but a traumatizing experience. read more

I took a black dress to Ann's to have it shortened and when I returned 10 days later to pick it up, I discovered that it was an inch and a half longer on one side than the other. Also, the hemming was uneven and had accidental gathers in a couple of places. I returned the dress to her, and she promised she would fix it by the next opening day, which was 4 days later. When I returned, it was not ready. Later, having to go back a 3rd time, I requested a refund because the dress is now ruined as it is too short. She gave me back $10 of the $25 I had originally paid. Basically, I paid her $15 to destroy my dress. read more

I took seven pairs of pants to Ann today. I have lost some weight and I wanted to have them taken in some. When I tried them on, Ann told me that it would require more than just an quick stitch to make them fit correctly. She told me she could do it, but it would be $30. The pants weren't even that much, so I opted not to do it. Ann said, "I want your business, but I'm going to be honest with you. You do not need to pay that much for these pants." I was so impressed! Her honesty was so refreshing! I have taken several things to her in the past, and I have NEVER been disappointed! I will continue to use Ann's Alterations for ANY of my alterations in the future. The company couldn't do much to help me, so I took it to Ann's, thinking anything would be an improvement. Did you know that these brilliant people can make a bulky letterman flattering?
