Speaking from my experience with her, Daria Casey's use of an exclamation point in her business name (Organize This Place!) is highly appropriate. She brought enthusiasm and energy to what for me can be the most dreaded kind of work: sorting and organizing decades of "stuff," much of which was no longer needed, obsolete, redundant, or its sentimental value had expired. For me, these categories aren't always obvious, and assigning an action (whether to keep, donate, recycle or add to the dumpster) can be difficult, tedious, and draining after a while. I was also feeling that I needed someone with more recycling knowledge than I had.
Enter Daria, with her positive, can-do attitude and lots of bright suggestions about what to do with things, including wonderful places to recycle that I had no knowledge about. After a few days with Daria's help, I was feeling better about the possibility that my old things might still contribute something to the earth other than adding to the landfill.
I also found Daria to be amazingly efficient. She can work at an impressive speed, magically filling boxes designed for several destinations at once. She helped me get into a decision-making rhythm, so it felt like I was part of a team working toward a common goal. Daria also literally went the extra mile, filling her car with boxes to recycle at various places, which is something I really hate to do so for me it was well worth it to pay someone else to do it for me.
She's also nice, interesting, and fun to be with, which is important to me when working side-by-side with someone. Highly recommended! read more
