February 11, 2019 - I was recently contacted by marketing at Sun Forest, asking that I remove my…read more"terrible" review because the company had replaced personnel from top to bottom. (Well, the review wasn't terrible, the customer service was. My review was stellar.) I am giving the company the benefit of the doubt and changing my rating to three stars, with the caveat that anybody looking to hire a local contractor these days needs to make bloody well sure they keep their promises and act as though you are a valuable client worthy of their best efforts. Today's company assurances aside, I ask myself why Sun Forest wouldn't have changed its name, thus distancing itself from the poor performance even they seem to admit. Color me still skeptical.

Our initial contact with Dustin was amazing. Very professional and thorough. They required a substantial deposit to get on their schedule, which I paid, but it went downhill from there. Appointments were made to come by the house for bids that were never kept, phone calls not returned, and the little bit of work they did complete they "subbed" out to one of the water mitigation people (who did a good job). After several phone calls and three months, I fired them. I spoke with Dustin a week ago and he calculated what they completed and promised us a refund from our deposit. Nothing yet, and again, they aren't returning my phone calls.
