From the moment I walked into her studio I felt like I made the right decision. She took her time penciling out my lip line before she got started tattooing. The lining was clean and accurate, she checked in with me the whole time to make sure how I felt about it. She did great penciling out my lips so I trusted her to proceed. We looked at colors, which she has very many of and I chose a pinkish/light red color (mixed two colors together) After the tattoo processing began, I was nervous naturally and of course it hurt just a bit but this is all expected. Robyn checked on me throughout the whole appointment to make sure I was ok! Upon completion, Robyn pulled up a mirror to my lips, I was in complete shock-- I absolutely LOVED my lips, the lining was FLAWLESS. I honestly couldn't believe how great my lips looked. The best feeling is waking up in the morning and looking lively because of my lips. Followed the after care instructions to the T. 7 weeks later my powder brows were barely visible. Didn't even look like I had them done. I was scheduled for what was supposed to be a 7 week touch up. Jenny (the owner who performed my powder brow), was confused and concerned after seeing my brows. June 4, 2024; 7 week, What was supposed to be a touch up, looked like I had the whole procedure done over and even though it wasn't 5 hours like the first time, it still took hours again in the chair. And even though I am grateful she spent the time with me, my back was bothering me laying in that chair for so long. Paid $100. Total $628.! Powder brows, lash lift and tint. I wasn't happy with the lash lift and tint either. I reached out to Jenny several times to express my concerns with the lack of results. I didn't hear from her the day of. I always had to be on top of her to get a response most times. Some of my texts went unanswered. I had to press Jenny to get a response some of the time. When Jenny was pressed for a response, she said the reason she didn't respond was because her business was closed that day and she has certain times she returns calls. But again, I have some texts that she never responded too. I just think communication on her end could have been better. Photo is at 9 weeks after the second visit (a touch up) to see Jenny, The Happy Brow. My photo speaks for itself. Not happy with lack of results and losing the money (what was a birthday gift from my children). That's a lot of money to lose. I feel bad for my kids too. They knew how badly I have been wanting powdered brows for years. 6 weeks after the second appointment, I noticed again that my brows didn't look like I had them done. I contacted Jenny and expressed my concerns. Didn't hear from her that day. I pressed her for a responses. She said she needed to have time to give me a proper response. Later that day she responded with a long message that basically said that results may vary and I signed off on the pre procedure forms. So I'm out of luck. She covered her ass and it's my loss. I feel she and her website are misleading. I should have asked for pictures of clients 6 to 8 weeks after having their touch up procedure done. I didn't know better. Some of the photos of clients that left a review are difficult to see their brows. Pictures on her website show immediately after she does the procedure the day of. And I went off of those pictures. I should have asked for her licensing too. I didn't. I just saw all these positive reviews and made my decisions based on that. I'm so upset about losing my birthday gift. It's a lot of money! Especially in these hard times. This is my experience and I feel that it needs to be out there for others to consider before booking an appointment with The Happy Bow. It's a lot of money to spend for lack of results. I would like my money back. But it doesn't look like that is going to happen. It is an expensive lesson learned. One I can't afford!
