I had a Himalayan salt stone massage from Trishah a few months ago and it was a good, solid massage. Until, the end. We had been discussing throughout the massage that my knee is injured (Torn meniscus, arthritis, no cartilage) and that I couldn't fully straighten it without discomfort. At the very end, after she wrapped my feet in warm towels, she grabbed my leg and pulled ( traction) and it really hurt. I yelped out loud. She just sort of left the room. It completely ruined the massage, because now my knee was hurting. I said something to her once I came out of the room and she was there to greet me. I told her that she probably didn't mean to hurt me, but she did. No apology, she just told me to "take care" and hurried off. I'm a long time massage therapist and I would never have treated a client that way. Very disappointing to pay all that $$ and leave upset. I really enjoy the wellness lounge, though. I've been here a couple times. The woman who gave me my facials was new and inexperienced but was okay. No one ever told me about the relaxation side where you can hang out before or after your service. One would think the receptionist or the person performing your service would show you the amenities. One time my car broke down and I had to cancel my appt at the last minute. I called and no one answered so I left a message. I got a call back after my appt time saying I would have to pay $70 for the missed appt. I would have happily rescheduled it had someone answered the phone. I don't think that is fair, and I refused to pay it. I asked that my concerns be elevated to the owner and I never heard a word. Not sure I would go back. read more

This was a very disappointing experience for both my husband and myself: we've both had a couple dozen massages...and today was a waste of money. The environment was very poor. The person at the front desk was very loud while we were trying to enjoy our massage. She literally laughed and talked through the entire time my masseuse worked on my back. It felt like she was in the room talking. I almost stopped my massage and asked if we could wait for her to be quiet. No joke. She talked for 45 minutes straight, If you want a Swedish massage, this is the place to go, however, if you want a deep tissue massage, please do not go here. This is truly an oasis experience. From the beautiful and relaxing Himalayan salt inhalation room that has a waterfall sound in the background to the infrared sauna and steam room. To enjoy these amenities, there is an additional fee, but well worth the price in my opinion. My friend and I both had massages. We both found our massage therapists up to the task of helping us relax and work out those knots. I had an awesome customized facial that left my skin feeling great, and the lounge had SO many cool things - an infrared sauna, a steam sauna with optional essential oil scents, a cold plunge pool, hot wraps, an out-of-this-world great massage chair, and even a Himalayan salt room, not to mention tea, snacks, showers fully stocked with cool organic products, and even thoughtful touches like hair dryers, straightening iron, hair ties, etc. for getting ready after your time in the lounge. My appointment did NOT go thru their site so there was no record of my appt. I then asked to schedule on the phone. Unless I supplied them with a credit card number they would NOT book the apt!. I DEAL IN CASH ONLY. I keep NO plastic, period. They also said the "special" isn't applicable until the 8th of this month. (then don't advertise it as an March and April special add on) I'm shocked they have such stringent booking qualifications, and because of such, LOST my business. Then, I had one of the best facials + microdermabrasion of my life with Lisbeth right after. She educated me on all of the organic products being used and I purchased a few items after. Magon Meeker is whom I've been receiving massage from since I was pregnant and she is AMAZING. She has the golden touch **. I highly suggest booking with her or any therapist here at this spa. Whole body release of tension, anxiety and pain. The indoor spa is also a treat. I really like the salt room and sauna. They also sell Eminence products (which are organic and wonderful!) I scheduled a Couple's Escape Package for me and my man here. I had some money on my account so I figured I would use it on a Christmas treat for both of us. It was my first time getting a massage from... a professional, I guess? And wow it was so amazing. My therapist was Vaia, and I think his was Brittany. They were both so nice, and after telling Vaia I had never had a real massage before she was understanding (I felt pretty lame going into such a fancy place not knowing what I'm doing or getting into) and nice and was asking me what kind of pressure I like and I said I didn't know, and she just said we'll see what happens and I could feel free to let her know what I needed and wanted, and what areas I want her to focus on, etc. I ended up just not even saying anything during the massage because it was just perfect all around! I knew about the lounge going in, and it's so relaxing. With the escape package we got some champagne and chocolates and got the whole "oasis club" area to ourselves for a whole hour. It's so lovely in there with the infra-red sauna, steam room, nice showers with great products you can try for yourself, and the Himalayan salt room which is my favorite part, and ended up being my husband's favorite too (even though at first he was skeptical and didn't understand what the point of a pit full of salt was)... Overall it was a really easy and nice experience scheduling and everything. It was such a lovely time. For my first spa experience I'm really really pleasantly surprised because I assumed it was going to be awkward! It was very relaxing. I went from intense joint pain and migraine to intense bliss within 1/2 an hour! Bravo to the owner Tamara. Bravo. Go as often as you can and be honest about your pain and then do what the technicians tell you. They are extremely knowledgeable. Not only is it great but it appears that with some of the products you purchase I think they plant a tree! So not only are you relieving your own pain but you are helping the planet. had the most delightful experience at this unique organic sanctuary. Immediately I was greeted and sent to relax in the nicest massage chair I have ever been in. Then, I filled out a simple form (paperless, I might add) and began my foot bath detox. The staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I have never experienced a detox like this before, and learned a lot about my body and the process. Next, I had the very best facial (and I come from large cities like San Francisco and Houston where I was accustomed to top of the line service) from Tamara, the owner. She really took the time to learn about me, my skin, and then developed a customized solution, talking me through the entire process. They have done a lot of work to the place since I went the first time, including a bunch of new furniture. I was told that the detox foot bath now has a full back, comfortable chair.
