Most unprofessional remodeling companies I ever seen. The deadline was delayed for 2 weeks for a 4…read moreweek job, and the quality of their work is terrible. They couldn't even do the basic of alignment so the door stays aligned. End up causing the door guide to broke before they even finished the job, and they refused to replace a new one. More over, they refused to paint the trim after installing my floors, and wish to charge me $400 for a job as simple as painting a trim for a room less than 300 square feet. They didn't even do a final walk through in the end to make sure everything is installed correctly, but keep trying to increase the final payments. Even my building manager says she never seen somebody unprofessional like this. Don't be fooled by their slogan, they don't care about you or the quality of their work in the slightest.

My wife and I had a vinyl fence installed 15 years ago. We were happy with the installation and…read morethe fence has held up fairly well. Only complaint is that the double gate latching mechanism was not great on day 1 and has caused some cracking During a recent windstorm a tree fell on a section of our fencing. I called Abbey Fritz to get a model number for our original fence and a quote to replace the downed section. First call, Penny very rude and stated that "we have a lot of customers to help before you." She could not pull up our original order and model number which would have made sufficed. I said that I would wait. About a week later, technician called and repeated the statement that there was still a long list of customers ahead of me. A week later, a technician called and said he would be out soon. A week later, a technician called and said he would be out that day. Two weeks after the last call from Abbey Fritz, I have not heard from the company. I have called and spoke with Penny twice. She again repeated that they have a long list of customers to deal with. She also stated, "the next time a technician calls, be sure to get his name." So now, the company's poor customer service, horrible inter-communications and record keeping is being blamed on me. Recommendation: Stay away from Abbey Fritz Fencing. They have no customer loyalty and are too lazy to follow through with a request. I will make my repair myself and try to find a fence panel that comes close to matching...as I would not want to give this company another dime.

The company used construction glue to glue the stones on top of concrete. They told me not to worry because they were giving me a lifetime warranty. The steps fall apart at least once a year. But he still renews his MHIC license so the company must still be in business. I contacted the MHIC licensing office who told me that there were several complaints against this company.

Having recently moved into a new house, I had missing screens, screens with holes, and window with faulty sashes. I had G&SH deal with the missing screens and broken sashes. I know I could have gone to a hardware store to have new screens made for slightly less, but the convenience of them coming to me and the confidence that they were responsible for the precise measurements more than compensated for the minimal price difference.
