They were always friendly and courteous and I knew I could rely on either one of them to answer any questions I had right away. The facility is clean, modern, extremely secure and all of the inside units I had were climate controlled which was very important to me since I was storing 40 thousand rare LPs and expensive Mid Century modern furniture (Eames/Knoll/Milo Baughman/Platner/Saarinen etc..). I looked around at other facilities and knew right away that this was where I wanted to store all of my belongings while selling a house in Portland and planning a move to California. Honestly the staff here really is the cherry on top and they work very hard to make everything run smoothly and efficiently including Uhaul rentals! We paid for the time to figure that out plus one more mover added 45 mins later. They were quick, but clearly, 2 of the 3 movers had little experience and were really not up for the heavy lifting. They rushed through everything and were reluctant to put things anywhere but the garage. To be honest, I did not WANT them bringing more into the house because they were getting careless. In the end, we had A LOT of broken items. We had a number of heirlooms that were shattered, not cracked, shattered. They even managed to completely shatter an entire case of glass jars that were still in their original box, as safe as could be possible. This only could have happened if a stack of boxes fell over in the truck. I moved 4 houses this year already. These were the most inexperienced and least customer focused as well as the most costly yet.

The man said he felt unsafe around me. I was profiled by a stranger and then they went as far as trying to remove me from 'their' storage area by maliciously making up perverted lies. Scary part is, every neighbor I met was delightful and i never once had a foul exchange. Let that be an anchor for how uncomfortable I am. I'm a young heavily tattooed female who travels and camps with my partner a lot in the summer. The first week I was even really around (cleaning from a huge move, the camp, laundry to store away, tiny bit of bead-work unpacking) we got a complaint yet my partner and I had already had our storage in the facility for 4 months. We have the same address. Its preposterous to think me with even a gate code, and my padlock code, how am I a danger or showing I am not allowed to be there? Obviously I'm not a criminal. Its laughable really. This storage area lets people loiter all the time, use the car wash rv dump wash area, chat with neighbors, and work in their units. Ive seen people drinking beer in front of their units with food laid out. Im not allowed to be around the same solely because of profiling although we were given tons of excuses why we can't be around. Its profiling. So beware if you're a tattoo artist or in an alternative field with tattoos... This area has a renter that lies even tho video cameras are around and no one checks them if they're on im guessing, If they were checked or running they'd see the blatant attack at me from a creep I never met. So beware cameras aren't monitored here presumably because of the ability and ease of someone creating such a story with no one reviewing. I have no clue how anyone would live in a storage unit here when they have a home but I digress. Beware of profiling if you have art on you. A very scared hateful person here will make your storage experience uncomfortable and hurtful to say the least. The owner could do a better job having other renters mind their own business while he checks his cameras to see if the complaint is even real or possible to begin with! Poor use of surveillance cameras. All for show!

Be ready to be accused of lying about the condition of your unit, because they ask all kinds of questions & then go check it to see if you were telling the truth. Oh, and you have to wait outside in the hot sun, or rain, while they check your unit. No waiting in the office.... Maybe you could steal a pen??? The worst I've ever experienced.

It's spacious, with lots of different types of seating options, from tables in the center of the main dining room to booths and a fun little wine barrel-esque 4-top table by the windows. There's also an indoor little fire pit with seating around that by the front window. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot, so that's never been an issue for us. The wines are wonderful, as expected. WVV has expanded its portfolio over the years and includes a nice array of labels so you can get your classic Oregon Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, as well as more robust reds like Tempranillo and Syrah. The bubbles are always a good choice here, and the rosé is usually a crowd pleaser. The menu here is small, but mighty, and the quality of the food has always been top notch, in our experience. On Wednesdays, there's a happy hour menu. On our most recent visit, we loved the tarragon shrimp and the mushrooms. The truffle fries were fine, but tasted more like standard garlic fries and not so much truffle fries. While I love having a wine bar/restaurant like this in this area, the one thing that has been disappointing is that I have noticed the service has gone downhill since it first opened. It's not bad, but it's also not as attentive, warm and welcoming, or knowledgeable (re: the wines) as it once was.
