This bakery is an outlet store, so you will find great deals on various breads, pastries, and…read moresnacks. The store is neither clean nor dirty, but it does have a discount merchant ambience to it. The bakery's lobby is quite small with only one aisle that circles the store. If you head towards the back, you will find the marked-down items. To its credit, Franz Bakery has a large variety of various breads etc. Parking is unusual because it is located on a corner lot that is steeply inclined. This can make entering/exiting a bit weird on busy days, but it usually isn't a problem. If you can get past the oddities of its location and layout, then you will enjoy the prices and quality of the merchandise. Franz is definitely a place a person can easily stretch a dollar. The bottom line is the prices are great.

The staff doesn't pay attention to orders, and with no one else in there at the time it took way too long to get our bagel. Way overpriced. The brownie was dried out on the edges and really cold as though it'd be in the fridge for a while. The clerk kept flipping her screen to me and back but never seemed to want me to see it. Flipping then it's gone before I got a look. She seemed distracted and wanted to talk to her coworker much more than customers. The counter and computers were oddly very dirty. It's actually disgusting to buy food in such a dirty place. The prices are high, but that would be fine if the place was clean and the cookies were fresh. I remember taking grandchildren in just after they opened up. Spotless, people were well trained and cookies were clearly coming out of the oven into the boxes.
