OH MY GOSH!!!! So, I had purchased a house that had 3 porches that were literally falling apart and…read morenot safe to walk on. Well, two were not safe, and the 3rd, in the carport was icky looking AND made the carport too narrow to pull my car all the way up, so I wanted to do something, but i wasnt sure what. I found Alpha & Omega Construction on Yelp -and they had great reviews, so I contacted them. They responded right away and the next day Sam came out to look at what I needed and to give me an estimate for the work. He spent probably 2 hours looking over the decks and discussing with me and measuring and then left and said he would email me the estimates. I was really nervous because I knew that a project like this would be very expensive! a couple days later, his Dad, Alex, sent over the estimate. It was a great estimate, very fair pricing and so I accepted it. They started on the day I needed them to, however when they got here, Id had an idea about the carport porch. Originally they were going to take about 5" out and make it narrower, but I asked if they could instead pivot the whole thing so it faced the other way. Alex said, yep they can do that and gave me a good price on doing that. So then they got to work to disassemble both the front and back porches,. But then it started pouring down rain, so they said they would be back the next day. They showed up the next day and literally built both the porches completely, other than the railings!! And then the 3rd day, they finished those up and started on the carport. I didnt think they were going to get it done, but they did!! They worked until almost 7pm JUST so I wouldnt be left with an unfinished porch. And I cant say enough about what BEAUTIFUL work they do!! My porches look SOOOOO wonderful and are strong and sturdy and the little touches, like rounding the tops of the posts, make it look absolutely stunning!! I would call them again in a heartbeat!! I was thrilled to discover that they also paint houses AND all the little repair stuff that needs to be done (window trims etc) they are able to do too!!! Alex and Sam are the kind of people that you REALLY want taking care of your woodworking needs at your house! They show pride in their work and work VERY hard and diligently to make sure that the finished product is not only beautiful, BUT also to code! I LOVE my new porches and am so very thankful to have found Alex and Sam!! :)

We felt that he had the best plan on how to tackle the project and took into consideration the historic nature of the home as well as our concerns around designing the rebuild to use materials that would age well over time while while also maintaining the house's historical character. Erik was awesome to work with -- he kept in touch throughout the project, finished on time and on budget, and the end product looks amazing. He did not have the capacity to work on my project but he came to support the completion of a difficult time. I moved into my home in February 2021--during a snowstorm--and by March, we noticed rainwater entering the house. Over the next several months, I spoke with more than two dozen contractors, most of whom had no clear idea how to fix the issue. Eventually, we hired a contractor who replaced the siding, but unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem either. That's when a friend recommended I call Jacob. From the moment he arrived, Jacob listened with patience. He took the time to hear all the details--my concerns, what other contractors had said, and he carefully reviewed all the photos I had taken. He didn't do any physical work on the project himself, but what he did do was shift the entire direction of the process. He coached me on how to speak with contractors, shared terminology I should use, and--most importantly--he told me I was likely looking for the wrong kind of specialist. Though water was coming through the siding, Jacob suggested the issue was probably with the roof, specifically the "cricket." Following Jacob's advice completely changed how contractors treated the situation. I started getting better responses and more respect. And he was right--it was the cricket. Once that was addressed, the problem was finally resolved. Since then, I've called Jacob again for advice on another project, and once again, he offered clarity and insight that helped tremendously. The experience was the best one I've ever had working with a contractor! He communicated with me throughout the entire project, showing me pictures of before, during and after! That communication is GOLD! Héctor's crew was continuously hard working, respectful and so quick! The 2 roof tear-off and the completed new roof and huge clean-up was done in 15 hours total! And very reasonably priced! I am now saving money to have Héctor do some other projects for me! I cannot recommend them enough!

Zach was very approachable and responded to all concerns that I had, and he discovered what had caused the leak in the window and repaired it. It turned out to be a bigger project as it turns out the wood had water damage, but he replaced and repaired what needed. Zach's pricing was very fair and reasonable and he made sure to explain everything he was doing which took away my anxiety about the whole thing. What I appreciated most was Zach's work ethic. He had a positive attitude during the project, showed up and put his work in each day, and I could really tell he genuinely cares about the project he was working on. They came up with great visual suggestions and I'm so glad that I went with the changes/upgrades, because now instead of my decks looking like most standard decks, they are now extremely visually appealing - - almost like art! My original decks were wood and were starting to have rotting spots. The decks were replaced with Trex decking and they added extensions so that I would have more room on both decks . While it added some time/expense, they fixed several issues with the framing & joists from the prior build before I bought this house, whereas I think a lot of others would have just ignored it to get the job done, faster, but my deck framing would not have lasted as long nor been as level in places if Anthony's team had overlooked those issues, so I appreciate their attention to detail, and doing a job right. Now it's extra enjoyable to see my decks, and I have received numerous compliments about them. Not only was the job done well - - actually above and beyond - - but I also appreciated that Anthony communicated very well with me and they showed up on time and worked full days-even a couple days in the rain. Everybody on the crew was very nice, and they made it apparent that doing a quality job was of utmost importance to them. I will gladly be hiring them to do some other projects on my property. I will update my review with some photos once I finish the landscaping around the decks. Short Review: I would NEVER recommend this company ever again due to their lack of commitment to stand behind the quality of their company name, as guaranteed on their website. This company is NOTHING like what the previous owner, Brent, built and stood behind. Long Review: I have to agree with Brian F. in regards to the new owner Damon. He is extremely non-responsive. My husband and I worked with Brent, the previous owner, and he was EXCEPTIONAL! Truly! But, we had to reach out this year, 3 yrs after our three level $115k project was completed regarding some settling of some of the posts that needed to be shored up and hoped to get it done quickly. We reached out to Damon in early May 2025 to see about having it looked at. On May 19, 2025, Damon came out to take a look at the decks and said he'd reach out to someone who would be the expert in what would need to be done. After several attempts to receive an update from Damon with no reply, we reached out to the previous owner, Brent, to ask if he could assist in us getting a response from Damon. Finally, on August 5, my husband was able to connect with Grant and shared his frustrations of not receiving any update from Damon. Grant stated he'd talk with Damon and someone would get back to us. Damon called back and stated that the fix for the problem was 'tricky' and he'd be working with another vendor to come and jack up the deck, pour some concrete and get it cared for. That vendor reached out to us on August 26, and came by to assess the decks a few days later. This individual provided what he felt needed to be done and stated that he would let Damon know the solution. It took another 6 weeks of my husband trying to get a response from Damon as to where we were in getting this resolved and at least what it was going to take. We didn't know if Lifestyles would pay for the fix or split it with us or if we would be expected to pay for it ourselves, but we just wanted to have a reply so we could move forward. Today, my husband left another message, stating how we just needed to have a response and that we were concerned about the deck continuing to worsen due to coming into the rainy season. FINALLY, Damon called us back today only to tell us that he was not going to do anything in regards to caring for the repair and that he was 'sorry' that he had not communicated that to us when we initally reached out 5 months prior. He stated that the guarantee of the workmanship was not his problem as the work was done prior to him owning the business. He did not seem to care that the name or the reputation of the company could suffer due to his lack of 'good faith' customer care. I did share that if we would have known that, we could have gotten quotes and had it repaired during the summer months. Now that is the rainy season, will anyone want to take that on? Damon did not seem to care that we were extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and the lack of telling us up front that the responsibility of the repair would be on us. This company is no longer one that I would EVER recommend. You can see by my glowing review in May 2022 when our project was completed and the care that the previous owner, Brent, provided is CLEARLY not the same with the new owner, Damon. We are horribly disappointed.
