All I can say is "wow". I've driven by Streets of London for months, always meaning to stop in…read more This place is amazing if you're in the market for antiques from Europe (or from early America) circa 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. I've been searching for some smaller pieces for my downsized abode and haven't been too enamored of one store, yet. That may change now that I've seen what Streets of London has available. SLA carries some beautiful Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, and early American furniture, some with the most exquisite carvings. They truly are works of art. There was a mirrored Victorian organ, a French mirrored armoire, and a 1940s era silk embroidered sofa, that I could not stop staring at. And for the sofa, I know I'd be sitting on the floor in front of it, admiring the detailing; probably defeating the purpose of having something that nice. There isn't just furniture here, either. For whatever period, there's art, lithographs, bed frames -- brass and wood, glass punch bowls, silver tureens, china, and tea services. One silver tea service was the type with the pot on a hinged device where it could be tipped for pouring without having to be picked up. That was the first time I've seen one of those up close. Although I was completely stunned at how many gorgeous pieces I saw, most of them were far too big for my available space. That's where the owner, Gill, came to my rescue. She told me the smaller pieces were always the first to be sold, but she was expecting another shipment later this year. As she's trying to sell down her inventory in advance of the new shipment, she tempted me sorely by telling me she may be willing to deal on some of the existing inventory. I now have a reason to go back besides just for a visual treat in the genre of wood. Until then, if there's any way I can make that organ or sofa fit . . . where did I put that measuring tape and yardstick. . . .

This store is pretty big inside; you would never know it by looking at it from outside. It is filled with treasures both big and small. Like any antique store (or like most), it is a bit crowded with items. Personally, I like that. You really are 'hunting' for treasures here. Yesterday I found this beautiful trinket on the floor of a booth...I would have never found it had I been in a rush. I highly recommend you take your time here. Google reviewers seem more critical of Hunt & Gather and its staff...but personally I had a very different experience. On Google, people wrote that staff was following them, being rude, and that this place was overpriced. Now...your mileage may vary...but I found the staff to be extremely kind. They would check in on me a couple times just to see if I needed help, but largely let me do my own hunting in peace. I think some items are certainly pricey and I can't quite understand why, but by and large I found the prices to be competitive. For example, you can get an entire Noritake china set (with 12 settings!) for $450. Anywhere else this could go easily for $700+. You can buy some dupes at HomeGoods for sure, but HomeGoods aint that cheap -- and I'd argue some of the pieces here are priced even more competitively than HomeGoods. I bought 3 chinoiserie vases/jars yesterday (at ~$30 a pop) and am soooo enamored by them. All in all, I'd recommend you swing by especially if you're furnishing, or refurnishing, your home. There are some really nice things here....and I think I may come by every now and then just to see what's in stock!

If you are a collector of Crystal, you hit the jackpot. I used my Zophi app to analyze some items, and I was looking at an eight dollar Crystal vase that was worth $120. Now this one had a chip in it, which was why it was only eight dollars still this store is a gold mine of treasures if you have an app that you can scan and have analyze the worth of these items. I have seen many collectors items in that store and that store is loaded with excitingly high-end donations This store is unique in that they actually have attended fitting rooms, where you're handed a buzzer when a fitting room opens and you can have your turn. That's how popular this thrift shop is. They have an amazing selection of clothing where you can find some designer labels, hats, bags, antiques, vinyl records, lots and lots of beautiful framed pictures for extremely good prices, they even have bridal wear. Their jewelry counter is so much fun where you can find vintage earrings for two or three dollars up to five dollars, gorgeous statement, necklaces, bracelets, and rings, it's hard to walk away from that jewelry counter with nothing. Behind the jewelry counter is a gated section where you're really high-end items are located. You do have to have permission to go through the gate, but it's worth it to see some of the absolute die for items. They have checkout counters with efficient volunteers, who are friendly, and they have bagging or boxes whatever you need. You can join and earn points for your purchases. Plenty of parking, very easy to get to location, and bonus they're right next to the Restore where you can check in for some super nice furniture at great prices and some other items if you're looking for furniture. But let's stick to Dorcas, don't miss it. They must have thousands of books, hard back two dollars, paperback one dollar, with a few exceptions. Another reason you can stay in there for hours. Tons of stuff for kids, young and old A crafting corner. And again the prices are very very reasonable and you don't have to ask because there's a sign on each section that tells you how much whatever in that section Costs. If you are a collector, a reseller, or just someone who likes gifting the unusual, this is a great place for you.

A bit disconcerting, almost like a black Friday experience! Right when you walk in you see shoes and then a discounted clothing rack. There are so many racks of clothing! They also had a nice selection of books, artwork, and housewares. All of the employees (volunteers?) were very nice and welcoming and helpful. Truly one of the friendliest thrift stores I have been to. The only things I didn't like were how busy it was but it is awesome so I guess it's only fair that so many people love it. The other thing is that some items were ridiculously priced...I didn't see an overwhelming amount of this but enough that I thought to mention. Overall a fun place to shop!

The showroom has evenly priced items that are beautifully staged for the design challenged few - a mixture of purchased and vintage items eclectically displayed. Really nicely done and both employees were very friendly. It's not everyday you get serenaded, I must admit. They also had coffee and gingerbread cookies and water - a nice touch - and their store did not REEK of spray paint as some others did. I purchased a beautiful trunk for $100. It was beautiful and expensive but it was special and I plan to fill it with my memories items and cannot wait to use it for that. Down the cement path we walked to the warehouse which brought me back to my hometown and my grandmother and all the salvage sales I've ever frequented. It reminds me of that show Rehab Addict and how she goes and searches out those unique pieces to finish out her home rehab projects. Plenty of unique furniture in here but pricing is inconsistent. We grabbed a guy and asked I'm for some prices. Didn't feel like we got a great deal but the neat part was they would refinish and fix the furnishing for you for an extra price and that did seem reasonable. This place was great. We will be back. In the words of Willy Wonka: If you want to view paradise Simply look around and view it.
