We have ordered many times through them before, and in the past have had usually satisfactory results. However, we have had several missing or incorrect items in some of our orders over the past few months, signs service was declining. Today we tried them again, ordering almost $100 of Italian food. The order took over 1 1/2 hours, every salad was SLATHERED in dressing rendering them inedible (EVERY takeout salad I have ever gotten ANYWHERE has the dressing on the side). We were also charged for 2 side chicken breasts, only got one, and that had been placed on one of the salads, and was also slathered with dressing. After calling and explaining the situation, the man answering the phone at Order on the Way called the restaurant. He then offered to refund me the salad (literally the least they could do). I told him that we have had multiple incorrect orders in the past, and he told me "well I must not have been working then, because I don't think you have had any." When I also asked whether or not it was their policy for the drivers to check the orders for accuracy (which it SHOULD be), he kept interrupting me, then raised his voice and kept yelling and talking over me. When he finished, I asked if this is always how he talks to customers, and he shouted "I am trying to get you to understand me!!" Sorry, but when you are in customer service, YOU should be trying to understand your customer, and you NEVER raise your voice at them. He never did even answer my simple question. I use to work for this company 6 yrs ago had my wife working there recently and i told her to quit by far it has went down hill every since the owners wife took over she loves to lecture n can talk ur ear off stay as far from this place the restaurants they deliver for has bad rating with health dept the restaurants kitchens are nasty they dont wash hands when handling food i kno i use to deliver for them i seen those kitchens n wife has too dont b a delivery driver for them they take over 200.00 plus out ur check they call fees in a month dispatchers were very rude its gone down hill since uber is better or some other delivery service piss poor company piss poor management restaurants kitchens are nasty on 13abc restaurant report card with 18 plus violations so u want to get food poison order here drivers see how kitchens look i did wife did read more

I wanted to do something special for the staff at UTMC on the first anniversary of my husbands Kidney Transplant. Erica was amazing in helping me to decide on the great idea of Bagels and cream cheese as a treat for the transplant clinic and nurses that helped in his recovery. We live in Michigan and the 2 hour distance made it difficult for me but they were amazing in helping me say thank you. I have been a client of Order On the Way for years. They cater business lunches and dinner, as well as employee lunches and events. After a busy weekend, my sister and I ordered a $35 meal from a restaurant that was delivered wrong. We called Order on the Way and Erica, the owner, sat and argued with us about how it wasn't their fault, which I get. However, instead of FIXING the issue, she talked over me and decided to HAND THE PHONE TO ONE OF HER EMPLOYEES! Seriously?
