I was a bit hesitant to go for my first session since it was my first time getting a massage. My first impression on the place was calm and relaxing. They had the place decorated with these cute live plants and decors all over. I immediately felt so comfortable and welcomed by the place. But oh my heavenly god, Kimberly (massage therapist) was just out of the world. She ain't playing around with those "Magic Hands". Right before the session began, we had a brief consultation where she asked me where my problems areas were and what my daily activities were etc. She paid great attention to the problem areas and checked in throughout the session if the pressure wasn't too much. I don't know exactly how to describe how I felt during the session but I will try my best. She has this white noise playing in the background. She sinks into my sore spots and unknot the pain that I had for months. You feel like a heavy burden of pain had been lifted and you feel lighter. The stress and tension in my muscles were relieved and I left feeling calm, strengthened, and healed right after my first session. I know it sounds a bit exaggerated but I am not kidding around. I went there not being able to turn my neck to the left side and after the session I had no pain and was able to move. Since then I go there once a week and saw a great improvement with each visit. I am so glad a found this cute little gem in this swamp!! I am a bit sad since I left Gainesville because I graduated and wont be going in for this amazink experience again. However, if I get a chance again, I will certainly pay a visit here!! I highly recommend students get a weekly massage as it really helps with the stress and tension you have in the muscles!!
