I also love it because I don't have to really worry about him getting into things he shouldn't. Somebody in a review complained about the owner, but I think she's a sweet lady. I really liked the community feel. I don't mind someone getting onto my kid, reasonably, if he is doing something he shouldn't. I think my favorite room is the quiet room. I love the cricket sounds, the fish lava lamps, for lack of a better word, and the fiber optic things. I mean I could take a nap in there. Everything is clean and tidy. I 100% recommend this place to anybody with little kids.

She uncomfortably monitored like a warden everything that the children were doing. We could barely take pictures because she was always in the way. She even told one of the children playing on the slide to stop going up the opposite way. We felt uncomfortable being there. Amongst other things, basketballs/balls were deflated so that the children could not bounce them for basketball. Save your money and go to surge or rent a bounce house. I wouldn't take my pet back there. Further, She used a racial slurr when confronted about her lack of service. She will NOT be in business for long. I strongly do not recommend this establishment. It's because of clients that she's in business. If google allowed videos I would upload her unprofessionalism.

This place used to be really good. The employees seemed to genuinely love their jobs, were knowledgeable, and you could tell they cared about the animals. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I've visited, I've noticed a huge difference. The reptile enclosures have been absolutely filthy, and the employees don't seem to have the same level of care or knowledge as they did before. I understand this is a pet store and that animals may sell quickly, but that doesn't mean their enclosures should be neglected in the meantime. These animals still deserve clean enclosures and proper setups while they're in your care. It's disappointing because this used to be a place I really enjoyed visiting, and I hope they can get back to the level of care they once had..

We went when the weather was 70 degrees, which was perfect because the kids worked up a sweat! The staff was present and available. There was a kid inside the bounce house being reckless and the staff quickly rectified the situation. The place was clean and felt safe. FunBox is located in the Avenues Mall parking lot. They have Porta potties in the area, but you can leave and go to the mall food court restrooms if you prefer. As long as you keep your wristband on, you can come and go as you please. Adults must accompany their kids (no dropping off your kid and leaving), seating is first come first serve, there's a snow cone stand ($6.00) and a free shoe store area. You can bring your own water and snacks in. Nonslip socks are required. You can bring your own or purchase some at FunBox. Music was good and it was a fun time. If your kid likes bounce houses, then they'll love this place. It's HUGE! My picture doesn't do it justice. SN: I read some of the proceeds of Funbox goes to foster care kids. But while we were busy cruising up and down town center boulevard, we found that our kids would be tremendously bored. Up until late last year the only form of entertainment we could provide them during a long day of shopping at the town center was the mall choo-choo train that costs us almost an Andrew Jackson for a 3 minute simulation of weaving between traffic for our 2 kids. Sure we could bring them to the beautiful pond at the center of the mall in front of the Italian restaurant, but with the lack of railings if we don't keep a close eye on them, they could literally be swimming with the fishes (or turtles or ducks)! Thank goodness for the Wolfson's Play Shore for providing our kids a break from all the commercialism. The name itself is reminiscent of the wonderful beaches that attract people to Jacksonville and the colorful sea life play structures continue with this aquatic theme. In regards to safety they've got you covered from top to bottom. The area is shaded and the flooring is made up of that finely ground tire rubber that makes you feel like you're wearing moon shoes. There is ample seating all around the area along with anti bacterial soap dispensers. Once the kids are all pooped out, it's back to the endless grind of spending our hard earned money. I'm glad a play area is finally here. If a free pitstop to unload your kids energy isn't your cup of tea, there's always the choo-choo.

After that it was game on, our special needs kiddo had a blast! Tons of activities all spread out so nobody is really "in the way"! I tend to walk around with my kiddo when they are playing but I know there is a lot of drop in and play with less parent interaction. There are also a day camp and classes/events you can attend there which is nice. The only cons I can find is that there can be some kids who are not into sharing or taking turns. There are others who just have no regard for the fact that little kids are there too. Running or pushing them out from other play-sets. And some who do dangerous climbing on the equipment and get aggressive toward you when you ask them to stop, then follow you when you move to other play areas with your kiddo then monopolize that play area till you move again.
